While it tasted great, the food poisoning later definitely ruined the place for me.

New Chinese spot in one of the most colorful parts of town. Can’t tell if the plastic covers on the seats are because they haven’t gotten around to taking them off yet — or — if this is a buffer against some questionable backsides. Given the area, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the latter.
Their menu tries to be all things to all people. Chinese, Japanese, American, breakfast and hot buffet by the pound. Not my usual scene. But my steamed dish of shrimp and broccoli was both cheaper ($ 6) and larger than some other places.
I’m also a sucker for any friendly person who opens the takeout container to show me it’s really steamed. Thank you.
