Home invasion. Feces smeared on house. Met my sister for a girls’ weekend. Stayed in the home only one night after experiencing a frightening home invasion while we were asleep in bed & then experienced the added trauma of finding feces smeared on the front door the following night.
The home invader walked up three stories to the sleeping ‘loft’ & took travel bag loaded with valuables: apple macbook, fine jewelry, meds, rx sunglasses. Total loss: $ 10,000. SF police report filed; police called this a ‘hot prowl’ (burglary with occupants at home).
Homeowner A’lan Abruzzo has denied any responsibility & refused to submit the loss to his homeowner’s insurance policy. A’lan also refused to refund $ 925 in pre-​paid lodging.
