So sad this place is closed!!! Ordered weekly from them via Grub Hub and they always came with in 30 min and the delivery man was so nice! I also appreciated their to go phở packaging– they separated everything perfectly, so you could put it together as/when /however you ever you liked! Broth was great and meat was fresh! Please re-open, but if not, thanks for everything!!!

My husbands chicken fried rice(with extra chicken) was obviously frozen and then reheated/pan-fried. I could tell by the appearance of the vegetables and the rice was a soggy mess. The chicken was gooey and visually nasty. After seeing my husbands meal, I decided that throwing my Phở Tai down the disposal was the best choice. Not taking any chances. $ 25 completely wasted. Eew. Gross.

Ordered food from eat 24. Not only was then food delivered over 30min passed when it was said to be, the food was ice cold and over cooked. I will never order from here as this is the second time I have had this issue.

I’m writing this review before I received my phở because soon as I walked in, got a menu and sat myself… The only greeting I got was from what seems to be the only person working and she told me «excuse me. We have a lot of orders right now is it ok for you to wait 20 minutes before we can serve you? «Huh!!! There’s only 3 patrons inside I’m assuming all their orders were for delivery. So do they not want any business??? Alienating your walk in customers? It’s raining outside. But as you can see I’m able to write this review as I’m still waiting to get served… Wow! I understand some of the reviews here now. Only because I didn’t want to drive back downtown so I might as well wait here … Oh btw it’s 115pm. So yeah it’s past lunch hour already. The phở better be good here… To be continued … Ok just had my phở. Sorry have to take another star off if only to remind myself nerve to come back here … Broth was bland, might as well used boiled water ingredients were minimal. 2 halves of beef balls? A few slices of rate beef. For $ 9??? I should’ve went to the TL… I’m getting out of here unsatisfied … For those who don’t know good phở, you’ll probably be ok with this place. But me I’ve definitely had better. Correct that. Anything is better.

This place is awesome! I always get delivery from them. Their Phở is heavenly, I always get the seafood one. They read instructions when ordered through seamless web and have quick delivery. A definite must have when I am visiting SF.

The waiteress/hostess seemed unprepared for anyone even though it was after 5 p.m. and there was a couple already eating. Didn’t get my coca cola but I did get a half a glass of water before I was forgotten about. The Phở was mediocre for $ 9

For take-out(grubhub, eat24) this is a great deal, especially late at night. Combination phở, bbq sandwich(crispy, awesome, filling), and a thai iced tea. Boom. delivery minimum met and enough for two people having a post-movie-night-snack. Plus they always seem to get there way before the delivery estimate on either site(maybe a little faster on grubHub for some reason). Note: be sure to ask for extra hoisin, sriracha and lime for the phở. Downside: you may want to boil some water and pre-cook the phở meat(if you get the rare beef), just a half cup or so, then add to the rest of it. the delivery time may cool it off just enough to not be the searing hot temperature you are accustomed to IN the restaurant. :-)

I love Phở, and their phở is good. Hits the spot and delivery portion is huge. I’d rate them much higher for customer service and the phở, but I had an unfortunate experience with the fresh spring roll with pork. The roll was filled with some strange hard sand-like rice bits. But not cooked rice. I would imagine it’s a cheap filler that helps reduce the moisture, but also makes you feel full. Whateverthecase, it made it inedible. The pork was dry, and there was really nothing else in there aside from dry pork, hard rice bits, lettuce and vermicelli. They also seem to have forgotten my sauce. so it made it bland. I’m willing to give them another shot on the fresh rolls, but I’ll have to do that on-location so if the same thing happens I can address it directly. But for Phở… I’m coming back for more. And the Bahn mi are HUGE for the price.

I come here all the time for the wonton soup. Absolutely delicious and pretty cheap to boot. The lady who works here is incredibly friendly, is always smiling, and remembers what we like. Also love the phở and the potstickers. Just finished my wonton soup and can’t wait to go back.

I got take out and the owner is nice. They close early on Sundays around 9. Their spring rolls have mint in them already, which I didn’t like. Everything else is good. I’d recommend this place.

I needed to get chicken noodle soup for a sick dear friend who couldn’t get out n about. I was in Knob hill and decided on this place since my friend lives in Cow Hollow. I figured if I call it in, it will be ready by the time I get there… plus parking is easier there than down here even if there’s better Phở places near me. Big Mistake and I’ll never patronize this place ever again! I feel anyone who steps into your business establishment should be at least greeted and treated with hospitality. After all restaurants are typically in the hospitality business people!!! I walk in about 11:50am. No one in sight except one gentleman eating by himself. The door has a buzzer as you walk in so a lady appears. Exact words from the lady. «You here to pick up soup?» I said yes, she comes to me and sets the bag on a table away from the counter, says, «$ 9.30» Takes my money, gives me my change, then walks away to the back. WTF, no hi, no bye, no thank you, no this is your order, no would you like some utensils or napkins, and just literally walks to the back. Too many BETTER Phở restaurants in SF to come here!!! BTW the soup did it’s job but nothing special to treat customers that way! Just because you’re the only one in this hood doesn’t mean you can act like customers don’t matter! Go somewhere where someone appreciates your hard earned money!

The review is for the Vietnamese sandwiches(bahn mi). I always got the vegetarian, extra spicy. This means they add extra fresh jalapenos and siracha. It’s sooo good, and under $ 4. This was my go to quick lunch spot. I have never dined in, always to go, but the waitress have always been polite and smiling. :)

Pretty bad. Won’t order here again. 2 Bahn Mi sandwiches and 1 order of Imperial Rolls $ 16.50 Bahn Mi combination meat sandwiches were inedible, I should have taken a photo. Maybe 1 oz meat total, on a Safeway type bun. A thick slice of unpickled cucumber. Both sandwiches were tossed, not eaten. Imperial rolls were soggy, greasy, served with rice noodles topped with in toasted canned stale peanuts, wilted cilantro and a small container of… Bottled fish sauce? 2 stars for friendly courteous service, zero stars for the food. Good location, they could do a good business if they cared about what they were serving and it wasn’t a rip-off.

Typical phở. Noodles are on the harder side. Server is sure nice. Nothing special. Just your normal phở. Sad they don’t have the Vietnamese drinks like Che. I would come all the time!

To start off, I would say this is one of the cleanest Asian restaurants that I have ever been to. The place is also brightly lit, and has many different paintings and art, which give off a nice ambiance to the place. I have tried the spring rolls, the hot and sour soup(refreshingly spicy!), as well as the Combination Pork Sandwich, and Basil Chicken Rice. I noticed that the food items were not as greasy as other Asian places that I have tried, and much more care is put into putting the plates together. The imperial and spring rolls work well as appetizers, and can be shared between two or three people. Sandwiches are quite inexpensive and delicious, and I ate multiple ones in one go. I especially liked the Basil Chicken Rice, and look forward to trying out the other dishes soon!

Stopped by for a quick bite. The coffee is a bit blander than I’m used to from other Vietnamese restaurants. The pork chop over rice had only one chop with lots of bones. The green salad that accompanied the dish consisted of iceberg lettuce, sliced tomatoes and cucumbers. The dinning room was brightly lit and featured asian themed paintings. If I was in the area, I would come back for dessert or another coffee.

My 2 favorite things here: Banh Mi Sandwiches and their chicken noodles soup. Food: +$ 3.50 for a banh mi sandwich! The combination pork is delicious as is the vegetable sandwich +Phở Ga– Chicken Noodle soup– perfect thing for those sneezy sicky days Service: Super friendly ladies who run the store and they make sure your food is just right! Ambience: Very quiet, not busy restaurant on the hustle and bustle Lombard street. Usually empty cuz most people do take out. –Hungry Hungry Pongy
