Sunway Floors

HORRIBLE! Yep, they have low prices… you get what you pay for! My sister purchased floors from this company and was happy AT FIRST. About 1 yr after purchasing and installing the floors, she started to hear some odd sounds. There were LARVA eating through the wood floors. More specifically, the Asian Long Horned Beetle. These are foreign to this country and are very dangerous and they kill trees (and eat your floors out from under you).
Now — if the company had acted upon this information quickly, this review might not have been so bad. Unfortunately, once they were contacted, they didn’t want to assume any responsibiltiy or even try to work with my sister. They decided to work with her only after the USDA got involved and let them know there was an infestation at her home. You’d think, after that… they would be willing to do what it takes to make things right?! Well, no. They have agreed to remove the floors and destroy them (they have to be BURNED to kill the bugs). This is the first sign of good business so far! They have NOT, however, agreed to pay for the pest control needed in the home.
My sister has given them simple contract asking for them to pay for pest control, remove floors, choose some flooring from their warehouse (they had agreed verbally that they could choose anything they wanted) and have install the wood chosen. When my sister tried to pick the new wood and was then told she could choose between only 2, neither to her liking. She had only agreed to pick from their floor after they said no to getting our wood somewhere else. My sister was trying to regain peace in her home (and some wood floors w/​out bugs crunching away) and get a fast resolution. Unfortunately, she’s gonna have to take it through some Legal process to get this Sunway floors to move forward and take care of the problem they started.
I DO NOT THINK ANYONE SHOULD TRUST that the wood they purchase from these people wouldn’t have bugs running around inside. How many other pieces of wood that were imported from China were not heat treated properly?

come here. this is a asian own company. they import and export their own wood from different countries and refinish them in china.
you can get ipe for 4.29 per sq ft. (would be @ least $ 10 in an american store)
cherry for 4.59 per sq.ft.
