«Buy a $ 25 gift card, get a 6″ sub for free». Never had any problems with this in the past. Go to order the new turkey sub and they say it isn’t apart of it and get argumentative about it. That’s fine and all, but there were no specifications as to what sub is/isn’t part of this deal. Fine print says«A 6 inch sub». They said it isn’t on it because it’s expensive… ooooohh .40 cents extra. I would have been happy to pay that.

I liked this place a lot before. Always bought sandwiches and salads. Now they do not even fill fully the plate for salad plus if you request avocado they put only three ridiculous small 3 slices. Place became very cheap!!! The owner probably counts his expenses a lot.

I’ll try to keep this review as short and concise as possible, after what happened today, I already feel like I’ve wasted too much time on this establishment. Let me start by saying I’ve grown up in this neighborhood and eaten at this subway many times back in in 90s and early 2000s. I’ve always had a pleasant experience, back when the place was run by what looked like a Filipino couple. They’ve been always friendly, courteous, and just as importantly, accurate with my order. Today, I go there, place an order for a footlong meatball marinara. The wait was about 15 minutes because of some dispute up at the cashier. After that was settled, the line moved along at a moderate pace. My food had probably sat near the cashier counter for almost 10 minutes by the time I was next to pay the bill. I pay, get seated, take a bite, and notice there wasn’t a bit of marinara sauce. This wasn’t even my sandwich… I look back, getting ready to request for a replacement, but the line was just as long as it was when I got in. I was hungry, had to take care of an errand, and needed to return to work on time, so I figured, it wouldn’t hurt to wolf down half the sandwich and get the other half replaced with the correct order once the line shortened(by the way, the person who got my order had left, so there was no negotiating a «trade» there). By the time, I finished that half of the sandwich, the line was reduced to 1 person. I figured this was a good opportunity to request for a quick swap. I asked the staff member that prepared my sandwich, with proof of purchase in hand, if I could get my sandwich replaced, since I received the wrong order. I wasn’t demanding a whole footlong to replace half sandwich I ate, just simply 1 half for the correct half. My request was denied simply because I had one half of my sandwich missing. I give the lady one more chance to offer me a replacement for my incorrect order and all I got was«sorry, you ate half the sandwich. We cannot replace it». What do these guys do with returned orders? Eat or resell them?

BEWARE of the lady that looks like Maz Kanata from Star Wars, the force awakens. She may look innocuous but treats customers like LA rioters coming to pillage her vegetables and meat. When dressing my sandwich, Maz tediously counted out each piece of trimming as to not exceed, the allotted amount. In fact, when laying the meat, she left a big trough in the middle of the sandwich, a perfect spot for the cut I guess. Subway franchises have a consistency(we hope) to their food products, but We The People hope to receive better service. After all, food is never about food, but who you eat it with and emotional investment.

Friendly Service, Clean Restaurant. Ordered a spicy Italian Salad with only Jalapeño after a long night out with friends. After they made sure that is what I really wanted. They served me a Spicy Italian salad with only Jalapeño salad. I would not have any issue visiting again for a subway salad.

came by at 5:30 in the morning. Door was locked. There was no one inside nor was there a sign on door. Not 24⁄7

I ordered the chicken bacon ranch sandwich here and got the WORSTFOODPOISONING from it… Either the chicken wasn’t fully cooked or they had the chicken out the whole day without any covering and let all the bacteria get on it. Subway needs to have a covering for all their food and also throw away all food that’s been sitting out there for a long period of time… especially this location because they operate 24⁄7. I personally won’t be eating Subway EVER again because of this… Do yourself a favor and don’t eat here. DISGUSTING.

Every time when I walk in, the staff is always in the backroom and I either have to shout several times or wait for 5 minutes for them to notice that they have a customer. Also one time the employee was sitting in front of the cash register watching a video and i kept on saying hello hello hello for like 3 minutes and then he finished watching his video and helped me get a sandwich. They also put minimal meat on your sandwich so it basically just bread and veggies. They always charge me for a bag when I say no bag no bag.

I don’t often crave a five dollar foot long, or even 6 inches of sandwich for that matter, but when I’m in need of quick, cheap, relatively healthy eats, this subway hits the spot. The fact that it’s open 24 hours initially struck me as odd — since this is a quiet stretch of Geary… But it has satisfied more than one late night craving emergency. Very clean location with friendly staff. Glad to have it in the hood.

This place never disappoints me. 24 hour service is great thing for a sandwich place! Will be coming back in the future!

I used to come here all the time but after today I am totally disgusted by this place. Ordered a sandwich and noticed what looked like a dead fly on the bread. The oblivious girl behind the counter kept making the sandwich and I assumed it must be just part of the bread that was burnt. After my sandwich was done, I opened it to find a dead fly in my damn sandwich. Are you fucking kidding me? And when I told the girl behind the counter she just acted like it wasn’t even a big deal and it was annoying that I would complain about something like that. I was given another sandwich to replace it but I certainly hope the manager sees this posting because his employees are shit and I could easily sue this place for trying to serve me a dead bug!

I’m not a fan of food chains but I like going to this Subways. The old ladies in there always served with a friendly smile and on-prompt to what you would like for order at the counter. I always get the footlong Steak and Cheese here and it’s always been consistent. The place is very neat and clean. Service was fast as others have pointed out and plus they open late at night for those that need a quick fix.

I never thought Id be giving a Subway 5 stars but this place is on it. 2 older ladies probably in their 60’s move and make food faster and more efficient then Subway’s Ive been to with people in their 20’s. They made multiple sandwiches for me and I was in and out within mins. Some places drag ass but they moved with a purpose. This Subway was friendly, clean and well maintained. Tip, dont get their pizza/Flatizza it would be like ordering Sushi from a gas station in the middle of nowhere. They should stick to sandwiches what they do best.

Me and my friend Mary came in the other day for a quick lunch. There was a line out the door. We thought we were going to wait 15 minutes, but the line went quick. The manager was behind the counter greeting everyone that walked into the door. He is a happy and energized man. He was very help full and moved quick. We finally got our order and got to the register. We looked behind us and there was nobody else. The manager came up to us and said, «Thanks for the long wait.» He then gave us free cookies for the long wait. It wasn’t that long of a wait, but the manager and the 2 ladies made my day even better! Definitely go to this subway if your in the area!

If there was ever an «old faithful» in the realm of subway restaurants, this subway would claim the title. I usually don’t like to write reviews on large chain fast food type places, as for the most part, they are all the same, but there is something different about this particular subway that really makes it special for me, and probably for many others as well. I come to this subway quite frequently, as its on my route to my grandparents house, and seeing as they absolutely love subway sandwiches, I often make an effort to grab a few. First of all, the service at this branch of subway is absolutely top notch. Not just in speed and efficiency, but overall niceness of the staff themselves/ Each time I have gone in, I have been greeted warmly, and the workers always make me feel quite welcomed. At times I would feel bad as I would come in during lunch hour and order 4 sandwiches, which holds up the line a bit, but they are very understanding and work quite fast to get orders moving, but not making the customer feel rushed in any way. One thing I very much about this subway compared to others, is that I feel that more of the ingredients are put into their sandwiches as opposed to other subways. I always feel that the sandwiches here are more filling. This subway is easily the best in the city, and the best I have had elsewhere as well. Friendly service, matched with very generous sandwiches makes a win for me! *chirp*

It’s Subway, it’s open 24 hours. That’s pretty much it. I’ve recently found out they have some sort of monthly sandwich deal where it’s about $ 2 for a 6 inch sando. Sometimes it’s not posted, but you can always ask about the special for the month. I don’t think Jared is a regular at this one.

This is my other favorite Subway. I have only been here a handful of times, but every time I have had high quality food and excellent service. They really pile on the veggies and I have often been given free extra cheese on my veggie Delight sandwiches. I have never been given this anywhere else. It smells good inside, like fresh bread. And the workers always have a smile. They love to see my son and have given him free cookies. And they’re open 24 hours a day. Not many restaurants in SF are, so this is a welcome addition to your options at 2am! The Subway on Fillmore is also open 24 hours, but this one is in a much better neighborhood.

I love the convenience and the fact that this Subway is open 24 hours for those late night food runs and lazy quick meals. Eating fresh is the way to go! During the times I’ve been later in the afternoon/night, they ran out of their Italian bread. It’s one of my favorites and something as simple as bread makes a huge difference in terms of the taste of a sandwich in my opinion. Honey wheat as an alternative that makes me feel a little healthier, just doesn’t cut it. Favorite sandwich would have to be their Italian B.M.T. and I would love it even more if their $ 5 foot longs were still in place. Or even their $ 2, 6 inch customer appreciate days. No more specials when I went during New Years Day late night food run(or should i say early morning run). Skip the Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki, unless you like an overly sweet sandwich that makes your bread pretty soggy. Their new sandwich at the time I was there was a Pastrami Melt, but I felt it consisted of more fat than pastrami meat. I love the fact that their sandwiches are customized to your liking whether it be bread, toppings, or sauce. Top on them veggies and get on the«Eating Fresh» bandwagon! Thank you for being open 24 hours and on holidays like this past New Years morning. You guys rock and nothing beats the fresh smell of baked bread to cheer me up on my daily walks by!
