Trying to sell me a sixpack of beer for 13 dollars and then gives me an attitude for not buying something I can around the corner for 8 bucks. I’ll take my business somewhere else.

I literally only go here to buy cigarettes. $ 7 a pack but at least it beats walking all the way to corner W in Westfield. I’ll also buy a few groceries here, it’s over prices but you pay for the convenience. I’d rather have a gallon of milk instead of walking to Walgreens for a quart. At least the owner is super friendly and this is the spot to buy liquor lol

Man this place is awesome! We stopped in for a quick bit and had our toddler son with us. We didn’t have exact change so he rounded down. Then he comes around the corner and gives our son a twix bar! The nicest guy! Then on our way back from dinner we stopped to say thank you and he pulls out a box of chocolates for everyone! Good man right there. Karma is coming back to this man. He looks like Super Mario.

Not a bad place at all. Run of the mill convenience store with decent selection and price. Now featuring killer peacock wall mural on the West side.

For almost 18 years the same owners have been a part of our hood and a valuable part at that! Check out the shopkeepers in action in this article from The Examiner:

I want to say how I am happy to know there are still good people in the world. You protected that mother and child from a predator. Bravo!

I bought a couple six packs and asked for $ 40 cash back. In my haste, I didn’t realize I wasn’t given the $ 40. I called, came back the next day, called again. I got the run around over and over. SHADY! PLEASEDONOTPATRONIZE!

This is the stop for all the munchies! My morning rockstar to the lunch snacks to the late vitamin water to the late night booze hunt.

It’s funny this store is listed as «Nob Hill» and Econo Market, my other«fave» market in the ‘Loin, is just 1 block south. This place is more expensive than Econo Market, and it carries maybe 1⁄3 or ¼ of the items that Econo Market does, however, the kicker is, it’s open until 2 am, sells liquor until then, and it’s right across from Osha Thai & Rye, and right next to Ambassador.

Thanks for selling me the pack of cigarettes marked«Not for Individual Sale» last night. I truly hope that the money gained from selling the extra, promotional pack, which should have come with mine, really helps out your business.

I live next door to this place, so not only is it convenient, but they have the best staff! They’ll remember you each time, and once they know you’re a regular, the commentary they have about the people that come in is hilarious! Just ask their opinions on the lotto scratchers or drunks in the TL and you’ll get some great views. Plus, not bad prices and REALLY good bananas, seriously. Go, it’s worth it.

gotta love the neighborhood market. same dude at the register at all times it seems. kinda helps make it «friendly». with obvious limitations as every other small ‘hood markets have(small selection, slightly higher prices than your avg. supermarket, etc.), it has an interestingly large wine selection and the coffee you can purchase by the cup or by the bag(ground or whole bean) ain’t bad if yer hurrying. plus, it’s open ’till 2am so when the munchies kick in, their sweets freezer is a most definite plus.
