I didn’t think it would be that difficult a task to get new business cards made, but after running around the city and calling various places that were well reviewed on Unilocal,I was left utterly confused. It’s just a business card right? I have examples to leave with you… I even have the disc from their original printing. Simon had been recommended to me early on, but as his prices were a bit on the high end, I had decided to shop around. All of my efforts were met with questions in ‘shop-talk’ that I did not understand. It seemed every place had possible problems to present, but none suggested solutions. Several businesses took my information, and said they would need to get back to me via e-mail with a quote. They never did. One business I visited said that I would need to go back to my office and submit everything via their website instead of in person.(?) I finally put some real attention into Simon at Sharper Print, and was reminded once again that you get what you pay for. He was straight forward with all of his questions, he explained his pricing structure clearly, and he was able to translate industry jargon into laymen terms for me as well as take all of the information I had given him and understand exactly what I was looking for… another printing of basically the same card, same quality. Bottom line: He delivered. No problems. The new cards look the same, only a bit crisper colors and nicer paper stock. The price was reasonable and he was fast and easy to work with. I highly recommend Simon Tam and Sharper Print.
