Someone needs to teach these people how to make espresso. $ 3 for a shot and it’s probably the worst espresso in the Sunset. I recommend going literally anywhere else.

Go to Clance’s on Irving &41st Ave, better then Sea Biscuit & not far if you want a sandwich. Sea Biscuit went from 5 to 1 star. Crappie all around. multiple times they did not have certain bread or certain meats for sandwiches. ordered a sandwich when I got home I noticed no meat in my sandwich. Went back, employee didnt even care, so i told him to give me my money back. Today 1⁄23 went to get food, they were closed at 2PM with open light on. Owner needs to wake up, this place is going down. Lost me & my friends as customers.

Sea Biscuit, despite its makeover and new owners a few years ago, remains a traditional old school SF kind of place. The food isn’t as good as Devil’s Teeth across the street, but you don’t need to wait in a long line to get your order. Set your expectations accordingly and you will enjoy it. Usually seems to be a few college girls at a table here, with a quiet vibe otherwise. You can easily get a table and hang out here. The workers(owners?) seem nice. Good coffee selection. They beat Devil’s Teeth in terms of their varieties. Biggest downside that keeps me from coming here more often is their lack of clarity as to what hours they will be open.

I’ve met a friend for coffee at Sea Biscuit three different times and the first two times, it was okay… not great but okay. Their coffee is brewed one cup at a time and it’s good(thus the two stars; otherwise it would have been just one!), but the workers there are not friendly or helpful. This last time, on Dec. 29th, I ordered a bagel with salmon, but they were out of bagels and salmon(it was 11:00 a.m.). Then I ordered a breakfast sandwich with an English muffin and bacon and, alas, they had no bacon. I ended up with an avocado and cheese sandwich on an English muffin($ 5.50), which I wanted to share with my friend. When we got the sandwich, it wasn’t cut, so I returned to the person at the counter and asked if she could cut it in half. She took the sandwich without a word, cut it, and gave it back to me, all without speaking, making me feel that it was a great imposition. This, to me, was very unfriendly and not very hospitable. Because of this, my friend and I will meet elsewhere in the future.

I came here once with friend since Devil’s Teeth already closed. That was the first and last time I will come to Sea Beeeze. The aesthetics of the place was blah. It seemed a little dirty as well, but that could just be from having the furniture for a while. However, it didn’t have that dirty diner feel, which is somehow forgivable in some places. The service was meh. The woman working didn’t acknowledge my friend and I, even though we were two of four people in the place, until we spoke to her. We came for tea but I couldn’t fathom paying $ 4 for tea that wasn’t that great, but my friend still got one and it wasn’t anything amazing as expected, in fact it lacked flavor. I ended up passing on ordering because prices seemed to be high for items that didn’t excite me. I just asked for tap water with ice and they didn’t even have ice. Overall experience was a flop and since there was nothing I want to try in the future, I won’t be coming back.

Very slow to make and made a wrong drink. On top of that, the latte(I didn’t order) tasted gross. Never going again.

Came here for a cup of coffee, their lox bagel and a hope to answer some work related emails this Monday morning. No lox bagel. Ok, I will go with English muffin sandwich instead. No English muffins. Ok, any bagel is fine. No internet. Not funny anymore. But the last drop was that a woman behind the counter didn’t even show she cares, even when I suggested her to call their wifi provider’s customer support she ignored it.

Prices are pretty high for breakfast sandwiches but their sausage, egg & cheese on a croissant is delicious and for me, worth it if I add avocado on it. Yummmm. Coffee is good and you have a few options. It’s your average coffee shop but it’s better than it was a few years ago, gosh it was so awful before. These guys have revamped it a ton. Good job!

Sea worthy. Lunch: Toasted Boar’s Head sliced turkey, cranberry, lettuce and tomato on a sourdough roll. Impressive size. Brilliant taste. Extremely reasonable $ 7 plus tax and deserved tip. Linger: Sit near the open door letting in the fresh breeze from the nearby Pacific Ocean while using the free WiFi. Unlike other Unilocalers experienced nothing but friendly service. Leftovers: Nonfat vanilla parfait with strawberries and blueberries a generous amount of granola. Smooth sugar free vanilla Americano. Excellent and an excellent $ 6.75/pair. Worth four stars.

I’m sad to say that I was unimpressed. I Had really high hopes for this place. I do think we came at the wrong moment, but still. First I asked about the SANGRIAS on their menu — they didn’t have any. Then I tried to order the Mediterranean plate — they didn’t have that. So… Why are these things On your menu of you don’t have them? So I got a glass of wine. Which was fine. But the glass was unimpressive — which normally who really cares, I’m not that much of a snob — but they are claiming to be a wine bar and if gonna pay $ 9 for a glass of wine… They only had two people working, which is fine, but they didn’t know how to manage a line. Having a line is fine. Welcome to San Francisco — a line is expected. Check out andytown or Jane or anywhere else — they know how to manage a line. they always have a line and their customers are still served efficiently and happy. I suggest the manager here train their employees(or at least the ones who will be working on beautiful Saturday afternoons) how to manage a line. Unfortunately I probably won’t be back.

Amazing! I’ve only been here twice, but I will keep coming back. Such friendly staff(I’ve been helped by the same gentleman both times), he’s great! The food is delicious! So far my favorite is the mozzarella plate! Great ambience as well; relaxing but very well kept!

Very rude cashier. However, woman that made the food was super sweet. Cashier needs to go.

I love this place! The staff is really the best part about sea biscuit. They are super friendly and so helpful. Even saved a computer cable for my friend that she had left behind — so awesome! They have free wifi and really yummy food. The coffee is excellent. This is a great, quiet little spot to grab a bite and get some work done or read. Highly recommend!

«One Cup at a Time». «I’ll give them a try,» I thought. «Why not?» Well, I’ll tell you why not… $ 3 for a mediocre cup of drip coffee. That’s absurd. This is no rare coffee, free trade, roasted yesterday high quality bean offering. Even The Mill, which is delicious coffee but has recently been mocked for its high priced toast, only charges $ 2.50 for a 12oz cup. One can get a custom drip of blue bottle at green chili kitchen for $ 2. Or bring your own cup to Devil’stooth across the street and pay $ 2 for a much better cup.

I wish I wrote this review a bit earlier when everything was still fresh in my mind… but here it goes. Sea Biscuit is literally down the street from my childhood home. Since moving to LA for college, this neck of the woods has definitely developed with so many awesome restaurants and eateries. I came here during thanksgiving week thank god this place was open! I was in desperate need for some coffee and wifi. Sea Biscuit had both, so check and check. The coffee was great. Bold Flavors, tasted fine. Plenty of seating and ample outlets for all you laptop users. Friendly staff. Slow connection though for wifi. The only con that I can think of was how… bad their chicken cesar salad was. So note to everyone, don’t order their chicken cesar. The chicken appeared to be pre-made packaged strips that was simply reheated and thrown atop the lettuce. The salad was sparse and not worth the price that i paid. Just order what they’re known for, sandwiches.

This place is a nice addition to Outer Noriega. I enjoy the block that has Sea Biscuit and several other shops. The café is a good place to hang out and have a beer some late afternoon when the sun is out. I vote for less hip hop music. It distracts me while I’m day dreaming about surfing.

More or less friendly service, I felt they were kind of stand-offish when we ordered, but still got a thank you, which is more than I can expect from most businesses on Noriega. My friend and I were waiting for Toyose to open(ugh, big mistake of the night), so we stopped by here because we can never say no to cheap happy hour drinks. Got three Blue Moon for under $ 8 and with a comfy place to sit, so I call that a win. They have HH everyday of the week so I’ll probably be back when I’m in the area. There’s free WiFi and did I mention the comfy seats? The music is literally all over the place, which amused me to no end. I was enjoying and coming down from some indie rock folksy artsy fartsy song when BAM dubstep. Too bad that only lasted 5 seconds before a more coffee stop appropriate song came on. Oh well. Only complaint? Beer should have head.
