I just had a really good chicken sallad for lunch at Sallys. Crispy vegetables, perfectly grilled chicken. Really nice staff too! Not as crowded as the place next door.

All I can say is YUM! The oh so delicious breakfast and friendly staff that works at Sally’s is a reason to go over and over again. But the peanut butter and jam bars and heath bar brownie thingy — well, what can I say??? I think I’d died and gone to heaven after eating one of these, and if I didn’t fear becoming a big fat cow, I would eat one every day!

A suped up greasy spoon, Sally’s has HUGE portions. But the quality didn’t quite match. The bacon was really thickly cut and over cooked. The hashbrowns although tasty could have been a little crisper. The poached eggs though were perfectly poached and my friend’s omlet was enormous.
It’s cafeteria style and the people who take your order and your money are ornery, tired and frantic. The people who cook your food and call your name are funny and having fun.
After hitting Foreing Cinema for brunch I’m thinking the prices at Sally’s are pretty high given the quality. My perfect truffle scram was just a couple bucks more than my poached eggs, hashbrowns and over done bacon. Plus the advertised garden is really a patio in front of the parking lot on 16^th Street.

I went here for brunch today, and I thought it was pretty good. I had an omelet, the eggs were light and fluffy, and they didn’t hold back on the filling, that’s for sure. It was loaded with cheese, avocado, salsa, it was delicious. My friend had eggs benedict and it looked OK, not the best I’ve seen.
One thing, when I ordered they asked me what kind of toast I wanted, but when I got my breakfast I got no toast, kind of weird, but there was so much food I didn’t really care. It was cheap, and the four guys manning the stoves behind the counter were really nice, and they flirted with my friend, which was cute. Overall a good place for brunch, and they have outdoor seating, which is always a bonus.
