i have never in my liife experienced a dcam on such a large scale,.they contract with the city, however, they lied about their role, daid they applied for ssi on my behalf, found out 6 months later, they didnt, meanwhile they extorted me to continue paticipating in scam, i applied for my self, & got it, because i have a permenant disabilty i was born with, they knew this and lied, now i am barely able to. walk, since i spent over 2 years doing their bidding, now i have no help, nothing but 5000.00 stolen from my ssi, i was nothing more than a cash register, so they get payed, they need to be audited

I’ll stick up for RAMS. I had a therapist that spoke English just fine and it seemed that they really try to cater to every nationality that our city has prevalently(there’s papers on the wall in all the major languages — English, Russian, Chinese, Spanish, Vietnamese, etc.) I had a younger, white girl. I’ve been in the waiting room with Chinese patients that got matched up with the Chinese therapists, etc. It seems they try their best to match people up so they can get the best care and in their native languages. The receptionists have pretty thick accents but it never hindered any scheduling, changes, etc. They are all very nice. If you don’t have insurance and need someone to confidentially talk to, RAMS is really great. The only disorganization I experienced was being in a different room each time and accidentally having someone walk in. My privacy wasn’t ever compromised, though. They’re working out of a small building on Balboa, so you have to kind of expect it. RAMS really helped me when I didn’t have money and really needed to get my head straightened out. I encourage anyone to go, as it’s a great stepping stone on your way to mental health recovery when you don’t think you have any options due to finances.

Its a good place for people who are on a budget and low cost health insurance to get mental health services but it is a city clinic. The other thing its disorganized and some people don’t really speak english. If your insurance can cover better services I’d say go for it.
