Overall a below average experience. The service was extremely slow. We ordered mozzarella sticks which the server forgot to put in so they didn’t come out until well after our food and, once they finally did come they were undercooked and cold in the middle. I had a bacon cheeseburger which was charbroiled and cooked perfectly but had a weird chemical taste to it, almost like lighter fluid? Other people at my table ordered a chicken BLT and a French dip, both of which were good. The place was empty which made the experience with slow service even more frustrating. We would not choose this restaurant again.

Location is in the Tenderloin but it ain’t so bad though. It’s in downtown near the Powell Bart Station and all of the shopping areas and hotels. My friend and I came in and sat ourselves and we were greeted immediately with the menus in hand. Their menu is a simple, good ol’ will get you full kinda menu. We started off with drinks, she had a Dirty Martini and I tried their Rye Manhattan. Then I ordered the California Burger, substituted the regular fries to garlic and it was pretty good. I love that they had a good amount of minced garlic tossed in with the fries. My friend had their Onion Rings and she said she liked it. Our server was very attentive and quick, constantly checked on us. I’m sure I’ll be back again since it’s only down the street from work.

They had big signs outside advertising the NHL package for DirecTV. We stopped in around noon and there were no employees to be seen. I waited for a few minutes and someone came out from the back but couldn’t answer my question about a hockey game I wanted to watch. Decided to come back at four when the game was on to try our luck. Sure enough, they didn’t actually have the hockey package. Bottom line, false advertising out front and a staff that didn’t know what programming they offered. We left without ordering a thing.

The food was fine. Service too. But a MOUSE was running around the tables. Talk about a mood killer!

The food was great but the service was so so. We say quickly and ordered drinks quickly but there was 1 server for the whole place it seemed. It was Christmas Eve and the place was busy. We waitress also started to give some attitude after we asked to split the bill, she told us that we should have told her before because now it was going to be difficult –_–

Had a great breakfast there today. Yummy breakfast sandwich, it was grilled cheese with scrambled eggs and lots of bacon. Delicious potatoes, nice presentation. Coffee good and hot. My friend ordered a California scramble and she loved it too. the service was great considering they were down one employee. Our server did a great job. I will come back!

For the simple fact noone has reviewed this place I had to come in to do so. Shame on SF Unilocalers, you guys are supposed to be the birthplace of this whole thing, yet, you don’t have one review on this place in the middle of Downtown. On to this place, I get a table, beer spilled all over it, I get my water and comment on it and my waiter doesn’t even attempt to wipe it up. I just moved to another seat, no biggie. Now I get my menu, the cheapest appetizer is 9 $, I know I’m not in Cle anymore, but it was only Mozz sticks!!! The menu had nothing to offer, no sort of theme, or anything even containing the word«SF» something or other in it. C’mon!!! I guess I understand why there is no review on this place, San Franciscans probably don’t even want it to exist, it sucks. I had to charge my phone, so I chose a seat near an outlet, some guy kept eyeing it, so I had to grab it. I actually was at 1% when I got to my car at the BART station. Perfect!!!
