Parking on the street. It can be difficult though. The lady who makes everything is really nice and friendly. Cute too. I tried the brownie with chocolate chip banana ice cream sundae. I really loved it. Nice big chocolate chips, really good chocolate with that light banana flavor. Age baked the brownie herself and I told her it was good and mentioned that I love chocolate chips in my brownie also. 3 stars. It’s really very good and Shea’s friendly. I would have given it a 4 stars if it was about 2 dollars cheaper. My mother pointed out I spent 8 dollars for a scoop of ice cream and a brownie. Food for thought. Thanks mom.

After a nice lunch I had at SOMA Streat Food Park, I decided to try a single scoop $ 4 for salted carmel. There was no line during lunchtime. Although it was light and fresh tasting, for me it lacked the flavor of other ice cream shops like humphry slocombe or Bi-Rite. I like my flavors to be strong. With other competitors that make the flavors stand out, I sadly won’t be back here.

Post Street Creamery is a mobile artisan ice cream stand. I ran into these guys at the SoMa StrEat Food Park last week. They had a simple tent set up near the park’s entrance. They had a sign out front showing blown up pictures of their decadent ice cream sandwich and fudge brownie sundae — a good way to lure customers in. The ice cream is organic. Flavors available on my visit included salted caramel, chocolate, and mint chocolate chip. Cookies included honey, chocolate chip cinnamon, and white chocolate chip chocolate. A single serving is $ 4, double $ 6.50, and a pint $ 11. $ 1 toppings include chocolate sauce, caramel sauce(both homemade), cookie bits, chocolate flakes, and cocoa nibs. A couple people in our group ordered the ice cream sandwich($ 6) and ice cream sandwich sundae($ 7.25). The ice cream sandwiches looked big and filling. With the ice cream sandwiches, you get to choose the two cookies that make up the sandwich. The two cookies do not have to be the same. Another person in our group got a fudge brownie sundae($ 8.25). I went with a simple single serving of salted caramel ice cream. There was no presentation to speak of. The ice cream was smooth, creamy, and delicious. I sampled the fudge brownie sundae. Group reviews were mixed on that one with most criticism directed at the fudge brownie. I thought it was okay, but others thought it was too thick and dense. Its consistency was definitely more fudge than brownie(hardly a hint of cake or cookie-like texture). The fudge brownie was expectedly quite heavy and rich. Service was fine. I’m not sure if this business takes credit card. I paid using SoMa StrEat Food Park tickets which were as good as cash.
