Server war nice.. but man the food was not good. Any descent chef knows not to microwave bread, you can tell because the bread hardens so fast. My eggs and potatoes were so greasy. Not a lot of choices at the airport, but i would have been better off worth some off the shelf snacks.

Not too much point in reviewing Perry’s because it is the only place where hot food is available behind security if you are flying Delta out of SFO However, today was worse than usual. My wife and I had breakfast which was mediocre at best. Hers came out first and was cold. Our waiter had disappeared so I finally had to get the host to report the problem. They said that they would get her a new breakfast but it seems that they took it back and put it under the heat lamps as it was tepid when they brought it back. Mine had still not arrived and when it did it arrive it was lukewarm. There were several wait staff and not many customers but our waiter did not bother to check back with us. Since there is no competition prices are high. Our total with tip was almost $ 50. You really shouldn’t expect too much at airport restaurants but Perry’s doesn’t even meet low expectations. Unfortunately there is no other choice.

Grilled chicken blt(minus tomato and avocado). Pretty good. Chips were so so, some had bbq flavor and others were sparse. Fine quick meal before my flight. Service /hostess was friendly.

Quick breakfast right near our gate. The eggs were as I ordered them, though not with my husbands eggs. The coffee is strong which is exactly how I like my coffee. Eat here when in Terminal 1!

There is a store called sound balance that plays bass all day long. If you want a headache, eat at Perry’s, you’ll get one. Ugh.

In general I prefer giving a higher rating to a lower one, under the condition that they treat me well and would not question me as a first instinct when order goes wrong. They probably don’t care that much as this is a airport restaurant, yet I would like at least bring attentions from others, that try to avoid the take-out/to-go order from this place. Got an apple and the green tea, they first messed up the green tea with earl gray tea, and in the end only gave me the tea. I had to re-ask for the apple. It was not too much of a big deal, yet I was the one eventually apologized, not them. Ok, I apologize for my miscommunication, you deserve two stars at most.

#164 Great place to stop for lunch before my flight. I love that this place is in the Delta terminal and I do not have to search for great food and a good drink before my flight – it is right here next to my gate. My server came and briefly greeted me as he was beyond busy helping the guests in his section. He asked me, «What time is your flight?» I thought that was really awesome because he was then able to discern which guest was in the most imperatival situation and helped them accordingly. He rested a small napkin on my table, pointed out the menu and said he would be right back – and he was. When he returned, I asked about a few selections on the menu and«we» decided on the Ahi Tuna Sandwich and a martini. I say«we» because he helped me decide between a few items, offering descriptions and personal preferences. The martini arrived shortly after with a smile and a promise that the food would be out shortly. My service was above par, and really wonderful. My sandwich was divine. I wish I had another one right now :) Stephani Smiles for Perry’s ;)

This is the first time I’ve been to an airport restaurant where the entire waitstaff greet you with smiles and serve you with positive energy.(And you know how rare this happens) I’m almost convinced that they actually enjoy their job. Kudos to their manager. This alone earned Perry’s a 4-star from me. Food-wise, I ordered a burger. Tastes decent. And the $ 14 price tag isn’t terrible for an airport and pretty standard in the Bay Area actually. Overall, not bad for an airport restaurant!

So first if you have Chris serving you, you’re one lucky bastard. He’s friendly, energetic, and helpful. Best server I’ve ever had. Great Mimosa, great bagel and lox. Such a great start to a day of travel.

This is the only sit-down or hot food place in the terminal. The selection is typical bar fare with minimal options and high prices because you’re in an airport. I had the chicken club which had a fair amount of grilled chicken and not very crisp bacon. The grilled chicken was tasty and the bacon could have been better. Overall the sandwich was good. The club came with kettle chips which tasted fresh, but could have used a little seasoning. Our server was friendly although busy.

We paid to dine in yet we end up with to go boxes NOT their fault! Loved my grilled salmon sautéed veggies and mixed greens! dressing that came w was really really really really really good YUM my bestie devoured his tacos so I didn’t get to taste or I was too busy eating mine. We had to eat before our plane took off. The place was absolutely crowded and we almost didn’t get a table but we did, but we didn’t need to LOL I think some of the negative reviews are expected in this crowded restaurant… Next time I am in the airport I’m definitely eating here again!

Not horrible, guys. Not horrible at all. I bypassed the line and grabbed a seat at the bar. This is honestly the only sit down restaurant in this terminal; there will be a line for a table. The cobb salad was $ 17. So overpriced. It however was large, full of fresh avocado, grilled chicken, bacon and a hard boiled eggs, all tossed in an oil vinaigrette. I’ve had better, but the portion was large and it was most importantly fresh. The dude next to me was mowing some chicken wings that actually looked legit. Airport wings legit? I went there. Sandwiches and burgers were more moderately priced than that salad, so although this place isn’t cheap, you don’t have to drop $ 20 on lunch. I’d definitely come again if I happen to be stuck in this terminal and hangry. I’d imagine service could be iffy when extremely crowded, but that’s to be expected, no?

Everyone else reviewing this location has it down: There aren’t many options for eating in poor old, dingy terminal 1, and after arriving super early for my flight with my stomach growling, I also made to poor decision to stop by Perry’s for a quick bite. Having no expectations whatsoever, I tried to snag a seat inside, but alas, the place was packed with a line that extended to what seemed like the restrooms.(WHICHTHEREISONLYONEWOMEN’S RESTROOMINTHISTERMINAL! But that is a rant for another review…) They do have the Perry’s to-go option on the side, and the line was moving quickly, so I jumped on in… I ordered a sweet pastry and a sausage egg and cheese muffin, and a hot tea. The pastry was ok, but I did select the best parts, and throw away the rest. The sausage egg english muffin was decent, expect the bottom of the muffin was so tough, I thought I might lose a tooth on it. I would have tossed it, but that’s where the cheese was and keeping the entire sandwich halfway edible depended on that freakin’ cheese. And despite having to deal with angry airport travelers, the gals at the counter were super friendly and fast, and did warn me my hot tea was gonna be hot as hell, and asked if I wanted a few ice cubes in it.(I denied, but for your drinking safety, I’d recommend doing this.) For 3 items and a tip, it cost me 20 bucks… but did keep my stomach from growling at everyone on the flight. If given the choice again? Pass.

It seem’s like in general airport restaurants have a hard time getting their ish together. In this terminal you have the option of Perry’s, a crêpe stand, or a coffee stand. Off to Perry’s we went! The menu is decent for breakfast and had a lot more variety then you would normally find at the airport. The hostess was overwhelmed by a special order at the podium so it took a bit to get seated. Once we were seated our waiter came over pretty quickly and took our order. I got the corn beef hash and poached eggs. The corn beef hash was actually really really good. The eggs however were super over cooked, not a runny yoke in sight. The waiter was also never in sight again until we flagged him down for the check. Overall I would come here again but don’t bank on awesome service, next time hopefully the eggs will be better as well because the corn beef hash is worth getting again!

Bottom line: Terminal 1 is a food desert when you get past security. Perry’s is the only sit down restaurant option in Boarding Area C. There’s a Guava & Java and a stand that does crepes. And that’s about it. We had a lot of time to kill before our flight, so we decided to take a load off and hit Perry’s for breakfast. It took awhile to get sat. The woman in front of us was placing a to-go order and had a lot of special dietary requests. The hostess didn’t seem to know any of the answers and had to find her manager to ask a lot of questions. She was very apologetic for the wait. I will say, she was a much better server than the actual one we got. He was pretty meh. Holly B ordered the corned beef hash. She liked the hash, but the eggs on top were cooked over hard. Who does that? Hash just isn’t the same without a runny yoke. I got a cup of the tomato bisque and a veggie quesadilla. The soup was actually pretty tasty. The quesadilla is a safe option pretty much anywhere. Quesadilla, cup of soup, and a Coke came to almost $ 20 before tip. A woman next to us watched everyone around her get drinks and food before she even got her coffee. She was not happy. I asked for silverware and the guy who ran our food said in an annoyed voice, «take it from the table next to you.» Okay then. If I end up here in the SFO desert again, I’m going crêpe stand next time.

The place is ok, but it’s nothing special. It’s a typical airport restaurant. The prices were ridiculous. I think it was like $ 10 for a beer, which is unreasonable even in SF. The food was pretty good. My gf and I shared a club sandwich and had not complaints. The service, however, was not so good. Since we only ordered one dish, the server look annoyed with us and tried to avoid us at all costs. I really don’t like to flag down servers to get the bill, but I had to here, despite the fact he walked past us like four or five times beforehand. The restaurant is close to some of the gates, so it’s good if that’s where you need to board.

Got here at the airport and through the check-point. Once past the checkpoint, all there is to eat at is Perry’s. Sit down or take-out. It’s pretty busy so what the heck. Had three people but we go seated in a table for two and squeezed in somehow. So not a lot of expectations since it’s the airport. I ordered the Perry Burger with jack cheese. It was actually char grilled. It was juicy and nicely cooked with a nice soft bun. Comes with lettuce, tomato, and onions. Not bad. The fries look golden brown but weren’t crispy. This tells me they have been sitting there for awhile. So fries were okay not great. Wife had the fish & chips. Fish was little greasy but good. Very moist, tender, and fresh. Only problem again is the fries. Not crispy to my liking. My son ordered the club sandwich which had turkey, bacon, lettuce, & tomato or three pieces of toast. Toast was a little limp. It was okay not great. Again fries not great. Service was good. Got our water cups pretty fast and waitress kept our water cups filled. Our server was very nice and friendly. So I liked our service. Overall, if you can really wait and not eat here then this is your best option but if worst come to worst, it’s okay. Not bad food but what do you expect at an airport.

I went to San Francisco Airport two hours before my departure time and decided to go this place because I was feeling hungry. Note that I only went in here because it was the nearest from the check-in area and plus it was the only restaurant in our terminal. I waited for a couple of minutes to be seated and another 20 – 25 minutes to get my order. I ordered Perry’s Burger since it seemed to be their signature food. The burger itself was a pretty good burger. It’s definitely above the average because it was juicy and flavorful. They don’t put anything in your burger such as lettuce or onions, they put it in the side for you to put it in which was fine with me. The pricing for the food here are ridiculous so be aware of that. Customer service was all right here. You could observe that this was a fast paced environment because the waiters were everywhere trying their best to serve everyone but it seemed understaff. I appreciate the ones that served me as they tried to accommodate all my needs.

Disgusting. Food doesn’t look fresh, it doesn’t smell good and the plates are dirty. How is there a shell in the damn crab cake? If the waiter sees you didn’t eat any of the food… the picture is the after… wouldn’t it be appropriate to ask if there was something wrong with the food. Of course if the expectation is that everything is wrong with it, perhaps it’s best not to ask. The whole place smells like the bathroom across the hall, maybe worse. I know it’s the airport, but this place needs to be closed down and bulldozed.

I HATE coming to my gate early. I try my hardest to time my airport route perfectly so that I get to my gate exactly when they start boarding Zone 1. Unfortunately, I allotted myself too much time… Hence this post. I got a glass of wine. Eh. A bowl of clam chowder. I had worse and I had better. They put seaweed in there so it brought out an interesting flavor. And then I got the Oreo brownie and BAM! The Oreo brownie took the airport out of airport food. Overall, I spent about about $ 35 on my meal. Blah. But that Oreo brownie, might have made it worth it. 3.5 stars but the brownie made it round to 4.
