This place was awesome! Went last Wednesday after work with a coworker around 4:30pm. Easy enough to get a spot at the bar and Joshua took great care of us! Speedy, friendly, efficient service in an awesome setting! Great drinks– will definitely return and send my friends and clients!

Come for the breadsticks, stay for the lazy service. This is only a place you frequent if you work in the area. Don’t get me wrong, I actually enjoy coming here every couple of weeks but only because I know what to expect. I enjoy crunchy bread so I devour the breadsticks, usually get a sandwich(they are all pretty decent but not great), and know that the server won’t hound our table. If you like big open spaces and taking a long lunch, this place is perfect for you.

Simply put: This place sucks! Go somewhere else. Overpriced and staff acts like they’re doing you a favor, especially in the morning. I work in the building and I always prefer to walk elsewhere.

I would have given one star if I could. I eat here almost every day for lunch as it is so convenient. The staff is great. This review is really just for today’s lunch experience which was DISGUSTING!!! A ham sandwich slathered with some kind of fake butter, Who the hell ever puts butter on a ham sandwich??? Wet lettuce and tomatoes that should not be on any sandwich. It was not edible and went in the trash.

I come here to get myself a coffee and bagel in the morning. The Hispanic lady is really nice and is always in good spirits.

I have only sat at the bar here and have to say that Harrison the bartender(and his cohort, whose name I don’t know) will take very good care of you. Extremely attentive. The food is amazing and so well priced. There are more expensive places in the area that are no way as good, nor as consistent. The flavor combinations are thoughtful and flavorful. The pulled pork is amazing– avocado and red cabbage– so freakin’ good! The calamari is some of the best I’ve ever had– tender on the inside and perfectly crisp on the outside. I get the house red and it’s a great deal. Happy HOUR is so good. I can’t wait to try their wings… They are supposed to be really good. I’m addicted.

Quick service and casual lunch options. Clam chowder was yummy and chicken fingers were thin, but tasty dipped in a side of buffalo. Perfect lunch date with my 7 yr old daughter to feel a little sophisticated, but not uncomfortable.

We were visiting the area from out of town and wanted a sports bar that allowed kids and had the lions game on. I looked all over San Francisco and heard about Perry’s. I called them and they were so great. They had everything we needed and even held a table for us with a TV set to our game. Service was great and burgers were awesome! Very fun atmosphere too! Great place for a burger, brew and to watch a game with or without your family!

TERRIBLESERVICE, PERIOD. We came here for our office holiday lunch — we’re a small business in Potrero Hill, and we like to patronize local businesses. However, this is one place we won’t be coming back to. We had a reservation — our table wasn’t ready and we waited 10 minutes. We sat there for 20 mins. before the host came and took our drink orders, and our food orders. 45 mins later our meal had still not arrived, despite two enquiries. When it did, it came out piecemeal; one person was almost done their lunch before another’s arrived. I ordered the ahi sandwich, and was specific about no poblano aioli on it — so of course it arrives with a heaping on top. I sent it back, and not 3 mins. later it comes back; they’d scraped it off haphazardly and flipped the ahi so I wouldn’t see it. Bad form, guys, bad form. It was so bad even THEY realized it, and without our saying anything they cut 50% off the bill. We sat there with dirty dishes for another half hour before the bill even came, and when it did — yes they had discounted it 50%, but two of the items we’d ordered were at ½ price for the lunch special, and they hadn’t discounted those. All in all — when you have servers congregating by the bar instead of circulating helping customers, and the host is leaning against the wall checking his cell phone instead of seating, and a 1 hour lunch turns into an unintended 3 hour lunch — there are LOTS of places for us to go and spend our money at instead of this very poorly run, unorganized, and middle-of-the-road establishment. Other Perry’s are very good — this one is not, and I cannot recommend it to anyone. We certainly won’t be back.

I don’t know why people post bad reviews on this place. Maybe the high end crowd since this is located in the design district are catered to higher class food but for what you are paying for here it definitely does a solid job with their entrees and burgers. apparently a lot of complaints on their salads but you know what a salad is boring you really aren’t gonna find amazing salads in general. burgers and their entrees are very solid and very well for their price points. The burgers are especially awesome on Mondays since they are half off. anyways their bread sticks are pretty sub par and it would be highly suggested to switch those out with something that tastes goid since they are pretty atrocious. bread sticks are hard, dry, and pretty bland. The unsalted butter it’s served with barely makes it taste better. other than that pretty solid restaurant with good with apparently good non salad dishes.

Meeting so it was me hot tech company CEO for lunch he recommended this place. It was a good choice in many ways with free parking in the hood and such a hot area for commerce it fits a good niche. So entering the«Design Center,» you see this sort of make shift restaurant that looks as though it was built by my prop department in an hours on one of our sets. It looks strange and awkward but the blue checkered tables told me it was Perry’s. The space is actually quite lovely as high ceilings and great light. Greeted by some nice folks at the front and the service was very good. The food though was ok as nothing special at all. Had a chopped salad that could have had better lettuces, more meat and larger in general. Served on a plate and not a bowl, the presentation also could have improved Same can be said for my hotshot CEO as he had the spinach salad with some thing that looked like chicken but maybe it tasted like alligator. Who knows. This with bread sticks on the table with plenty of butter and that is about it. The rest of the menu is pub fare that I am sure if fair as well. Not to totally knock the place as again it fits a niche and I would go here again when in the area.

Imagine eating in the middle of a not-very-busy mall. That’s sort of what it feels like here. Food is pretty and okay– so if you’re in the area, it’s a decent eating option. Your standard salad, sandwich, and entrees-type place. We split a grilled artichoke(skip it), salad, french onion soup, and a burger with fries. The burger and fries were my favorite. The salad was nice and the soup was okay. Service was great. No one seems to be eating fast and they don’t rush to give you a check, so if you are looking for a spot to have a no-pressure leisurely lunch, this is your spot.

Another Perry’s, another«meh» experience. I came here for a work lunch and had the chicken breast and pleasantly surprised with how well the chicken was cooked, how good the vegetables were(although the inclusion of corn was sort of strange), and how tasty the mashed potatoes were. Perry’s is an easy go-to if you’re really struggling to be creative, so I encourage everyone to make sure there really isn’t another more«innovative» option, especially considering the people who are in the surrounding area.

Great atmosphere at the Perry’s in the SFDC galleria. Love the take out lunches available to everyone. It’s really convenient for employees. Also can’t go wrong with their half off burgers on Mondays. They even offer frequent launch cards. Purchase 9 take out or Grab n Go sandwiches/entrée salads and get the 10th one free. Overall great place to dine in on your lunch break, or to pick up a quick meal.

Two words can sum up this place: good portions. I recommend either a burger or sandwich for lunch. You can’t go wrong with either and you definitely won’t leave the establishment without a take away box since only the ravenous will finish their meals without a food coma that immediately hits afterwards. They also offer these long bread sticks with a small dish of butter. While good, please don’t let those fill you up since the main meal is what you came here for. I made that mistake 3 times already.

I end up coming here way too often due to the minimal lunch restaurants selection in the area. It’s «ok», the open space is cool but not really used well with a boring set of tables. The food is nothing to write home about and the service is consistent. Which is why I will give it 3 stars. They can do better.

Cheap burgers on Monday! I was in a group of 10, and all 10 people ordered a burger. Various toppings to choose from, but they get kinda pricey when you add a bunch. I had avocado and was definitely not sorry with me choice :) I would definitely go back here!

Good burgers. Good setting. Professional, upscale service. All around«good». Perry’s is located on the bottom floor of the San Francisco design center. Although SFDC caters to many businesses pertaining to the home décor industry Perry’s seems to stand out and caters to high profile luncheons, mixed with passer-byers who want a quick, good bite to eat. Try a burger and sweet potato fries. I’d skip the sit-down aspect and get your food to go, unless you need a cocktail(yes they serve those too).

Perry’s has opened in the Galleria of the San Francisco Design Center. The well lit 4 story ceiling dining area is open without feeling huge. I had lunch there today and found the dishes competent and well prepared. The crab cakes were good but could use a bit more seasoning. The turkey club was very good, though I wish it had a twist like aioli or avocado or sliced apples. The clam chowder tasted like it was out of a can which is not really acceptable for a restaurant within striking distance of Fisherman’s Wharf In all, I wish the menu was a bit more daring and creative like the bistros in Oakville that make better use of local produce and ingredients, but I will still come back to Perry’s in the future as it is both convenient and a good value.
