hey ppl! I know you like fancy lattes, but sometimes your fancy lattes with different milks can hold up the line! 3 minutes to make a drink is pretty impressive if you ask me without burning yourself of course! the employees here try their bes and are super friendlyt. but really on busy mornings get a black cup of coffee with a shot of espresso it will do the job! and the employees are enteraining with that cup of joe. they will send you off with a smile on your face!

This is my favorite Peet’s in the city! They are the most consistent with taste and customer service. The morning staff is phenomenal! I love their energy and they are truly friendly.

Oh Peets. They can do no wrong. I love this location. There is always a parking spot available at anytime during the morning rush. Staff is courteous and coffee is always on point. Note: this is a smaller than normal Peets with no place to lounge around. It’s a «get your coffee and go» kind of Peets.

I’m usually not interested in writing reviews about large chain businesses, because if you’ve been to one, you’ve been to them all… right? Not so. I am giving credit where credit is due. The folks at this Peet’s in particular are superstars. I know most of their faces, and they know most of the faces of the people they serve, because it is just that kind of neighborhood joint. Much love to them. What adds to the neighborhood vibe is that it is teensy weensy, standing-room-only. It’s hard not to make eye contact and smile at your neighbor when y’all are standing shoulder to shoulder while waiting for your strong cuppa caff.

This is a pretty clutch neighborhood spot. I’m not a big coffee drinker, but when I’m in need of that caffeine kick I’m more happy to come here, as I’ve had nothing but positive experiences. This is a place that’s filled with highly energetic and friendly staff, and the customer service is usually excellent. Almost TOO good. When I come in I’m usually asked literally every person on shift if I’ve been helped yet — and I assure them that yes, someone has taken my order. Honestly the last time I think the cashier told me to have a good day like five or six times when I was there — these people are just overly nice, if that’s possible. The one time I needed a recommendation they suggested me some crazy concoction that ended up being surprisingly good. Probably was super unhealthy, but whatever — it did the trick. They’ve seemingly got a fantastic selection of food for a coffee shop too, so I’m definitely a fan for that reason, especially as I’m always underwhelmed by the stuff Starbucks has to offer. Coffee shops have to blow me away to get 5 stars, however, so it’s not quite there. But it does come pretty close.

I stop by before work 3 times/week and people work there are very nice. Today I received a free drink card because they charged me a wrong size. Very nice. I also like there since has lots of parking.

Staff is very friendly. However they tend to talk to one another way too much or with customers. It seems it’s half talking, half working when I’m there. Line piles up and they don’t the best layout for piled up lines.

Everyone knows that I’m not a morning person and have a terrible attitude without my morning cup of coffee. It was 8am in the morning and I wanted my coffee pronto before heading over to the DMV. No one likes the DMV … The guy at the register … Poor guy. I guess he was newbie. I believe his manager was training him and she wasn’t happy how he was working the register. He basically had 2 females(me and the manager) glaring at him to get his job done correctly! Finally, he was able to ring me up so I can go on my merry way and get my coffee. I have never had this kind of service at Peets so I was surprised, I was unhappy with the service here. However, the barista made it up to me by drawing me a latte art on my vanilla latte. I’m pretty much a sucker for anything cute & sweet. I’m still docking off a star because of the newbie … P. S. I do agree with my fellow Unilocaler, Susy C. how this location feels like I’m at a ski resort!

I come here a lot as I work at the DMV next door! From day one, most friendliest people I met!!! Pleasant and happy at 8ish in the morning! And they make the BEST hot chocolate like ever!(I’m a hot chocolate expert!) I’ve tried hot chocolate at another Peet’s and it didn’t taste the same! Maybe it’s the love they add to it! I don’t know but the am crew is like THEBEST!!! Eric, Stephanie… I can’t remember all their names but they know mines! At least one person always say hello to me before I even order! And they always say to their regulars! Awesome crew! Bomb hot chocolate!

Why can’t we have a Peet’s on every corner like another coffee establishment we all know and loathe? Peet’s serves up REAL coffee, REAL strong and REAL hot. Try getting that at *$‘s! This Peet’s is super small and doesn’t have any seating inside. Everyone is always so nice and friendly and I never wait long for my addiction.

Love me some Peet’s coffee. It is a wonderful morning ritual for this cat, like going to the litter-box only better, if that’s feline-ly possible. The best coffee in San Francisco, served by some truly nice human beings. I am a simple cat, so just a large saucer of regular coffee for me. OML(oh my lion) it is so delicious I could bathe in it. Actually, I think I have, at the very least I’ve gotten a good facial from those folks at Peet’s.(Grooming tip-paw in coffee, wash face, your dirty mind) They have a very good sense of humor(served dead pan cold) along with GREAT customer service.(Pay attention Falletti’s) They work hard and are very attentive to me and other pussies. Unlike the looser that is currently my guardian. He just lounges around on the couch all day, apparently pitching tents. Some days it’s like REI around here. Sorry, I digress. I was prompted to take pen to paw by the review below me(way below me) by Molly P on 9-17-2013. Like me, she could be from some back ally, probably somewhere undesirable, but I will lie about that for now.(I am from a small trashcan behind a now closed triple X cinema on Grant Ave.) There I go again, up-selling. Ok, it was Mission St. She referred, ever so eloquently,(at least I am sure it sounded that way in her own mind) to one of the employees as being a «tall white guy aka asshole». OML! I was so agitated by this, I ran around the house hissing for five minutes with my claws extended to their fullest potential(which is nothing to sneer at). I’ll tell you something else, there were no ‘tents’ to be seen during my hissy fit. HA! Protect those jewels, sucka. Anyhow, my fit ended with me over-grooming my asshole, even today it’s very tender. I guess it’s getting better as every time I examine it for sustained damage, it winks at me, ah friends again. I apologize for Ms Molly P’s comments, completely unjustified and inaccurate, you are not that tall. Of course, I am just kidding you, you are tall. Funny calling you white and she orders a vanilla latte. However, she must be right considering her life experience of supervising homeless, wannabe hipsters, pour dog piss into cups every day at Starsucks. Sorry, that was a blatant put-down of dogs. But, at least I acknowledged their existence, this time. You guys and gals do a great job, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. OML, that was so soppy, I could throw up, can someone hold my tail, I’m gonna vomit a snack for later. Thanks for reading(now have someone explain it to you, human!) CM

Open early enough that if you want to get up long before dawn to get in line at SF’s ONLYDMVOFFICE… you can count on Peet’s for a hot cup of joe. Bummer though how Peet’s will let you buy in bags these amazing coffee bean blends which they don’t let you buy in cups :’(

The perfect way to start the day. I love Peet’s the only thing I wish for at this location is indoor seating.

PEETSFTW. i will dodge a bullet for peets coffee! well not really, just for their tea and pumpkin muffins. that’s about it. Peets, –you save me from the thrashes of late nights and 8am lectures –your pumpkin ginger muffins are insanely bad ass. yes I know bad ass isn’t a flavor or a sense, but work with me. –your jasmine tea works miracles –your high voltage coffee jolts me every time, leaving my right leg jittery and uneasy for those reasons, I return to you instead of your competitors. sincerely, prospective caffeine addict

Maybe one of the smallest Peet’s I’ve ever seen. I’m including the ones I’ve seen inside grocery stores. No seats inside though they do have some outside tables. Iced tea is always solid and the service is quick, friendly and efficient. Iced tea is a solid go and good place to hang while waiting for a table at Nopalito next door.

Tucked away between the supermarket, the bank and a restaurant is Peet’s. Super friendly service, hot drinks and always willing to help you out by making your drink just right.
