All through the years I thought it was an apartment complex, but I was wrong. This is a condo community, and I just visited my friend who purchased a 1BR/1BA condo unit. She paid about $ 450,000 and that’s great for the outskirts of SF. No way could she afford in central SF. I looked into 2BR units and they were about $ 625,000 — way out of my range. The units are really nice, she bought a 1BR/1BA condo and it’s about 600 square feet; It’s a really nice spot: clean, nice landscaping, but lacks in amenities. The HOA dues(~$ 400) are kinda expensive especially since it doesn’t offer a gym facility, meeting rooms, community access to a club house, or bbq areas to gather outside her unit. My friend told me HOA dues are twice what she pays in the newer condo in central parts of SF and SOMA. I would have to take on a second job to pay the $ 1200HOA’s and that doesn’t include her $ 3000 mortgage! If I had the money, I think the units here would be a great investment since you can’t go wrong buying property in SF. Time to get a second job to afford my down payment or maybe my parents could help me. :-)) I give 3 stars for lack of amenities(gym, swimming pool, community clubhouse, etc.) and high HOA dues.

My condo is sooooo quiet. I can’t hear anything, or anyone and I’m between 2 floors of condos, so you’d think I would. Very safe area and building. I had a police friend check out the past year’s crime stats and he said it was very safe… Sure, if you park on the street you might risk a break– in, but that’s true anywhere. The association has 24 hr. Security. It’s a great place to live! Secure parking, great location for commuting anywhere… and BART is a 5 min. walk! Condo fees are reasonable as they include, water, garbage, security, insurance, maintenance, etc. Nice neighbors, convenient access to Bally Fitness, Walgreen’s, Subway, chase bank, shipping, dry cleaning,. All in the complex.
