New York Tobacco is a small shop located right by the Civic Center BART station. True to the name they sell a lot of tobacco related products. I don’t purchase any of that stuff so I can’t comment on how good or bad their stock on that is. As far as everything else goes, NYT has a pretty varied selection of everything else. I stop in here now and again on my way to work to grab a quick snack. They have a strong array of typical convenience store junk (sodas, energy drinks, candy, etc.,) as well as some healthier choices like bottled smoothies, fruit, Clif bars and such.
The store owner is a really friendly guy and gives great customer service.

This little market was open late even though the area was dead quiet. Store owner was nice, and BTW they don’t sell any alcohol. They have tobacco products, a small selection of grocery food items, and some other non-​alcoholic beverages.

This is where i buy cloves when I’m working. If something new comes out (djarum splash, super fine…) i just ask and a carton is available in a few days. The owner is a really nice guy and he gives me a discount for being a regular.
Smoke shops in the TL and civic are pretty easy to find, clean ones with good prices and friendly staff aren’t so easy to spot.
