I can’t recommend this place highly enough. I had the best experience I’ve ever had at a bike shop. I got doored while riding my bike the other day. I walked here shakily, not knowing another bike shop in the area, but to my dismay the shop was closed when I arrived(they are closed only on Mondays). The owner, Remy, happened to be outside working on a project. He asked me what I needed, and when I told him I’d been hit, he invited me into the shop, told me I should get myself a hot cup of tea from the café to warm up, and brought my bike back into the shop area. I was really shaken up from my accident but Remy put me at ease. He asked me if I was doing okay in addition to showing my bike a great deal of care, and all on a day that the shop was not even open. He even broke down the repairs that my bike needed into things that were necessary before I could ride again versus things that I should eventually come back to have done. And the whole time he was patient and thorough, explaining what he was doing and answering all my questions. When I came back to pick up my bike, one of the parts was slightly more expensive than he had originally estimated. He discounted the price of the part so it would be closer to the price he originally gave me. He turned what was otherwise a nightmarish situation into a reminder of the goodness of some people in the world. Thank you Remy and Mojo Bike Shop staff! By the way, make sure to check the hours of the shop and not the café– they are in the same building but have different hours.
