I was lucky enough to try their banana-flavored coffee. It was delicious! I’m not even much of a coffee person, but this was very interesting to drink.

I like my coffee black without cream or sugar. Just the essence of pure coffee without ingredients that hide the rich taste of good coffee. That said, when I do occasionally drink cold coffee, I like it with sugar(my Greek friend Cristos to be blamed for introducing me to Frappé). When the people at the Mixte booth, at the Belmont farmer’s market, offered me a sample, I was expecting something super sweet with artificial-tasting flavors. I skeptically tried the Banana flavor and I was pleasantly surprised to taste something that was refreshing, not too sweet, with flavors that were natural and not too strong. Unfortunately, they had run out of other flavors on that day. Will definitely try their other flavors when I go back there !

Iced coffee doesn’t get any better than Mixte’s, in my opinion. I was skeptical of many of the flavors(banana coffee? Jasmine???) but have loved every single one of them. They taste fresh, they’re not too sweet, and the flavors are ingenious.

I had the chance to try Mixte Coffee at the Farmer’s Market a few weeks ago. I loved the lemon flavor, but my absolute favorite was banana. I never thought I would like fruit-flavored coffee, but it was really yummy! the lemon tastes crisp and refreshing, and the banana had a nice hint of sweetness without tasting sacchrine. The bottle is cool and different, and the coffee-makers at the market were enthusiastic and kind. Hope to try more flavors soon!
