The food is okay. but the service is really bad especially the cashier she doesnt smile looks like a snob… you have to ask her to confirm your order if not she wouldnt say a thing… thats our first time in that location… probably our last.

I love this McDonalds. It’s huge and there are tons of cashiers so the wait is never long! The staff is also super friendly and always have smiles on their faces. Always fresh and hot and I love that they actually fill up your carton with fries and aren’t skimpy like other locations! Lots of tables to sit at so you never have to worry about not having somewhere to eat. There’s also an upstairs for overflow.

Very clean restrooms, free WiFi, great location, love the beautiful photos of SF’s famous sights on the walls. Near BART Embarcadero station. Just the place to rest our tired legs after walking all afternoon and to refresh ourselves before heading home.

BOYCOTTTHISPLACE — THEYAREWASTINGWATER! Whenever I walk past this place on my way to work, the front of the sidewalk is SOPPING wet, while all other business walkways are bone dry. This is completely irresponsible and there’s absolutely no excuse. We are in a major drought right now.

This location is WAY better than the ones on Market St because of the following reasons: — Attentive service — Food is standard(ask them to make your order fresh!) — Pretty busy during lunch but«fast food» lives up to its name. — Not too busy during lunchtime — Conveniently located next to 3 bars(Schroeder’s, Royal Exchange and Harington’s) for my drunchie McNuggets! BEST reason to come — Cool pictures of old San Francisco before the earthquake Yes, there are some bums around if that bothers you but that’s every fast food restaurant in San Francisco. Be cool and get yourself a 20 piece for $ 5. This place gets 3 stars for being by 3 bars! Sidenote: the Shakin’ Bag for the nuggets isn’t that great. Stick with the good ‘ol dipping sauces.

What can i say? McDonald’s is the greatest establishment, but it gets the job done. This is probably the more dirtier McDonald’s ive been to, preferably wish that the staff cleaned up more often but I guess that’s wishful thinking! Nuggets are king.

It was alright. Customer service was lacking and the food was cold. Bathrooms need to be cleaned though.

Why is there a warning label on the food?

Stopped to use the restroom and there was a line. Used the men’s instead. Bathroom was disgusting. It smelled bad, there was urine on the seat and on the floor and it didn’t appear to have been cleaned in days. My suggestion: use the whole foods across the street or the 76 station a block down.

The people who work here are the best, if you come in smiling you will find happy smiling people who make you feel great. Unlike other Mcdonald’s in the area they will give you ranch or any extra sauce for free. To Richard, the manager, I love the jalapeño double, so please make it a year round treat! I love to order the jalapeño double with no bread, and two spicy mcchicken patties which then become the bread for my jalapeño double sandwich. So it has chicken, beef, cheese, beef, cheese, ranch, fresh and dried jalapenos, and more chicken!!! Deluxe!!! The BEST!!!

Free WLAN !

They need the street areas around the resturaunt cleaned out much more… but inside wise besides the stench of some patrons. its actually cleaner than most locations found on market street. and they got my order right, im happy.

If I could physically eat at McDonald’s — especially this particular branch — everyday, I would. You know. if the stuff wasn’t so deadly. As with any burger place and fast food joint in the city, bums linger.

McDonald’s is pretty much McDonald’s, so I’ll focus on a few key differences: Space: This location is gigantic, and can seat a lot of people. However, it can still get pretty full during lunchtime since it’s by the Embarcadero shopping center and FiDi. For the most part, it’s not gross and cramped like some locations can be. The décor includes multicolored faux flowers, which is kind of fun and different. I like that they try. Service: I think the service here is pretty friendly and speed-wise is fine, but I’ve had them screw up my order more often than they should(i.e. they aren’t busy and I repeated the order very clearly) Clientele: Less homeless people than expected. So, as far as a McDonald’s goes, it’s not too bad. Plus, they have a dollar menu, which you can’t get in NYC. And to me, that’s the best part about McDonald’s.

I know what you thinking why is she updating a silly fast food joint. Well, this location seems to be very busy considering it is fast food. The area has many other options too. That is why I am so shocked people flock here during lunch hours. The lines are long, but they get the orders out in a decent manner. Quarter pounder w/cheese and chicken nuggets continue to be my favorites. Breakfast here seems to be low key however. Nothing is wrong with craving a little fast food from time to time. Nothing fancy, just something simple downtown. Just prepare for a wait again if you come during the lunch rush.

This McDonald’s is ok. The problem with the location is that bums are attracted to it and it’s in the part of the Financial District next to «fish alley»(essentially near the back of all the restaurants like Perbacco and Barbacco). So the smells aren’t appealing at all. This one is pretty big, there’s a lot of seating and even upstairs seating but in all the times I’ve come here, I haven’t seen it open. I come here to get dessert… just a sundae to fend off my 3pm at-work-boredom-coma. Service too bad. They are normally quick. The weird thing is you can never guess which side they will put your order up on. There’s a long counter and sometimes they will place it on the far right or the far left. It’s just a guessing game. Same goes for when I come by to satisfy my chicken nugget craving… It’s sort of busy during lunch but they go through the line pretty quickly. And it’s a McDonalds, you can’t expect fine dining but you can expect quick in and out service.

This McDonalds is probably one of the best in San Francisco. It’s extremely spacious and has two floors(2nd floor is usually closed off). It’s in the financial district, a nice, chill place(unlike the Bayshore or Fillmore location). The only downer is likely to be the potential for bums to annoy you once you enter or leave this location. Food wise, this McDonalds is no different than any other place. Price-wise, the BEST. Whereas most locations have eliminated the precious, sought after dollar menu, it is still intact here with only the Bayshore and Potrero locations having the other dollar menus in town. It is often abandoned and looks slow inside, but that shouldn’t stop anyone from ordering cheap, filling food. The employees are also friendly and quick to take your orders with rarely any long lines! $ 1 McChickens, $ 1 Double Cheeseburgers, you get the picture. When I had no care about the impact on my health that McDonalds had, I would easily order 3 – 5 McChickens at a time and eat then within minutes! Best of all, the bill would only be $ 5 at most! Above all, McDonalds is and always will be one if the top fast food restaurants in the world. If your in the area, this McDonalds is worth trying if your in the mood for a meal that doesn’t have to cost your more than $ 10!

This is the most modern McD store in the city. It has 2 floors, but the 2nd floor is usually cordoned off. The décor includes many interesting photographs(some aerial) of old SF(40s-60s). And in case u haven’t heard yet, the McRib is back(until 1st week of Dec.)!

Stand aside, people, I’m a daredevil! If you can’t stand carnage, cover your eyes and move on to the next review! I’ve known this McDonald’s for eight years, I know what to expect and I can handle it. I haven’t seen«Supersize Me» or «Fast Food Nation,» but I’ve read Mark Morford, I know the risks. I’ve been known to fly airplanes, ride submarines, skydive, scuba dive, jump off cliffs, walk on fire, walk on glass, get blind drunk in a strange town, walk through the Tenderloin alone, and make out with strangers! Not all on the same day. Well, not all in the same year, either. But watch me now, I’m going in! I’ll have a number 1 Value Meal. That’s a Big Mac, thin-cut fries, and a diet Coke, for $ 6.17. Wait, what? Service is almost instantaneous? The clerk has all her teeth and fingers, and she’s smiling at me? The place smells CLEAN? The«burger» isn’t bad, and the fries are actually tasty? There are NOHOMELESSPEOPLE hanging out here? What happened? Aw, come on, Mickey, why you have to be so nice? You’re ruining my street cred!
