This is a great little liquor store and deli near Union Square. We visited it often while spending a week in the city at the Hotel Triton. Very friendly and helpful staff. We bought gin and tonic makings, including limes, and wine and soda. We also tried the deli sandwiches for a late Friday night dinner. The pastrami on sour dough was delicious. We also heard that the crunch bread is great. We highly recommend this store for liquor, small grocery items and deli sandwiches. It is a busy place, which is a good sign, and we felt safe coming and going from the location.

On my West Coast trip, I was in need of a six-pack and I ran into this little store. The beer selection was much smaller compared to the wines, but I was able to find something that I liked. What I loved about this place were the deli sandwiches. I don’t go to «big» cities often and I’m always surprised how expensive everything is. This deli did hit my price range. $ 5 for a sandwich with a can of soda or bottle of water. I went to this deli twice during my stay and had a chicken salad and a turkey and cheese. Both were really good. I think I would go here every day if I lived in San Francisco.

Today’s special was the salami sandwich. I had mine on a soft roll with American cheese and everything on it except mustard. The guy made it in about 5 minutes straight off the waffle iron. I walked to union square a block down and took a bite out of this masterpiece. Magic hit me in the mouth as the crunchiness and softness pair up with rich flavors oozing out. This is certainly a hidden gem.

By far the best sandwiches in the city! Always satisfies my lunch time cravings and perfectly portioned. Bread is always fresh and the specials are only $ 5 with a free water or can of soda. Sandwiches are always made very quickly to order.

It’s your typical liquor store but with a deli section. Pretty good sandwiches. Daily special is $ 4.99 with a can of soda. Sandwich stamp program, buy 7 sandwiches, get $ 5 off or SPECIALOFTHEDAYFORFREE. Can’t beat the price especially for this neighborhood. Friendly staff. Jack is awesome!

$ 5 special sandwich of the day plus a soda and a stamp card program! Can’t beat the value in this hood. They carry all the usual liquor store stuff here but what really makes the good sandos great are the family that runs this place. I tried getting a sandwich at a liquor store near my house and the people there were cold and frowned at me… these guys aren’t annoyingly nice but I always get greeted and when I say thanks for the sandwich they tell me to have a nice day.

The sandwiches are hella good. The best sandwich spot in the neighborhood. Price is fair. You get a free can soda with the purchase. The only thing I would want is for the sandwiches to be bigger like at Roxie’s on San Jose ave.

It doesn’t look like much from the outside and I was very skeptical when my co-workers told me to go get a sandwich from the deli, I will tell you it is the best lunch for the money anywhere near Union Square. Daily special is a sandwich and soda for only $ 5. Ask for a stamp card and for every 7 sandwiches you buy you get one for free.

Had to pick up some drinks before heading out into town the liquor store was in the corner of my hotel. Purchased some beer and wine and I felt as if I was almost paying club prices at a liquor store.

Would have given them a 5 stars, if it weren’t for my last tuna sandwich there yesterday… That one got me to the ER early this morning after 12 hours of serious food poisoning symptoms. Liquor & Deli was always my go to when I worked downtown… for 5 years, their tuna sandwich was my favorite! Never had an issue… But this last experience was really bad, scary and an expensive sandwich if you count my ER bill! I feel bad having to write this review, but I don’t wish this upon anyone :(so maybe they’ll pay more attention to the freshness of their deli foods.

I love the staff here… they are always friendly and courteous and willing to engage in conversation if the customer volume allows. The only complaint I have is that they don’t always stay on top of the expiration dates of the dairy products… Everything else is great.

Small little Liquor & Deli shop on Stockton Street near Union Square. They have Great Sandwiches, my favorite sandwich was their Avocado and Cheese and this is from a guy who loves wings, ribs, and meats. You get the sandwich, which is made in front of you, and a soda for $ 5. The fellas who made the sandwich were nice as well and engage in conversation.

The food and beverage items here are very appropriately priced. Also, the staff here are friendly. I stop in to make a quick purchase when I’m waiting for the bus here. It’s a very neat store in front of the bus stop which I see many MUNI operators coming in here to get something to eat on their break.

Liquor/Deli? Really? I didn’t like the sound of it at first but it actually works! They have deli meats and make sandwiches here for $ 5 – 7 and it includes a can of soda or a bottle of water. I like that it’s not too pricey for something near Union Square. They have regular sandwich breads or dinner rolls and even have some other interesting items aside from the liquor store stuff.

I grabbed a sandwich here and took it up the stairs to Chelsea Place, one of my favorite dives in The City. They made it quick, it was mediocre, and it did the job. If I remember correctly, it was reasonably-priced. Nothing special, just a basic liquor/deli.

This family owned business reminds me of home(New York). I don’t really eat the sandwiches anymore, but i do go there twice a day. Right across the street from me. If you go there on a Sunday during football season be prepared to talk sports. The young guys are always watching games. They have a frequent sandwich card. buy 6 get 1 free
