After eating in a second time, I found two cockroaches scurry across the table and floor. Methinks I won’t be coming back here.

This place is rock solid. I eat lunch here at least two times a week, and the menu is so varied that there’s always something I’m in the mood for. The tortilla soup is the JOINT — get it with avocado.

Great service, and best veggie burrito I’ve ever had. Being Vegan I’m always looking for places that accomodate my diet, and this place has the best dairy-free Burrito ever. Ordered it with a spinach wrap, and it was perfect. Will be coming back.

I was around the area for the first time and I found this restaurant through Unilocal.I ordered a fajita steak and although I didn’t get my order on time(in fact, very delayed), the people sincerely apologized. The food was the best that I’ve had so far, I’d totally come back to the restaurant, even if I lived nowhere in San Francisco. A nice little place for an amazing food.

They are slow, but they are nice. I always go for the tacos, Gorditas, rice and refried beans, very simple, but very tasty and good prices. A taco is, hand made tortilla, meat of your choice, cilantro and onion garnish and sauce, and that’s it. Simplicity is the best.

Quality food from a casual restaurant open during traditional work hours. Don’t bring a date here.

A hidden gem, I think only people who work in the same building know about this place. Usually, if a place does more than one type of cuisine it’s going to be a miss but Lidia’s gets it right. The Mexican dishes are great, hearty portions and very flavorful. The tacos are better than just your average street tacos. The tortilla soup is filling and the rice dishes are huge, bring a friend.

I am an unabashedly big fan of this establishment, its owner, and employees. I work in the building and have personally tasted the cuisine of 3 different restaurants in my time and this is without a doubt the best of the bunch. The menu is varied but you can’t go wrong with the Chicken Noodle Soup, Daily Specials, and Tacos(especially the Chicken). Portion sizes are pretty large so bring a healthy appetite! =)

Pros: the absolutely friendliest wait staff(Fernando is the man!) + just a spectacular assortment of food. My favorites include the chicken tortilla soup, gorditas and veggie burrito. But they are equally skilled in making Italian(chicken Alfredo) and American(BLT and tuna melt) foods! Cons: slightly expensive for lunch($ 9 – 11) and probably not the healthiest of all places — but you knew that, didn’t you!

Their chicken fettuccine is the bomb here! It’s a bit on the large side so hopefully you brought someone along with you to polish it off. Next time, I’m going to try the burrito here and see if it stand up to the Mission burritos.

I work in the neighborhood and each hear nearly everyday — wouldn’t have it any other way! George(the chef) can literally whip you up anything you’d like, even if it’s not on the menu. Everything on the menu is good, but the following are what I’ll recommend to any first-timers: Torta — whatever they do to make this… it’s amazing Chicken Tortilla Soup — this is literally the most homemade dish you can get at a restaurant Gordita — If you’re looking for a small snack look no further! Their carnitas are amazing, and the masa is fantastic as well!

I actually like this place. Super close to where I work, and folks who run it are pretty chill. Their sandwiches are pretty good, and the prices are reasonable. The only downside of this place, is that for whatever reason, the building can’t get their act right, and you’re almost to smell a pretty nasty smell coming from the sewer line issue that they have. not their fault though

Started out nice went downhill from there. The food was horrible(I ordered an omelette). Then I heard the staff speaking Spanish so I spoke some Spanish back to them and the one guy took offense so he spoke back to me in English rather rudely. Get a grip amigo your not the only Latino in town. My personal opinion is they had their friends post to Unilocal to give them 5 star reviews.

Wow! This place is amazing. Everything we had was spectacular– fajitas, burrito, tacos. The corn tortillas are homemade and they were wonderful. The chips were some of the best I’ve had. The portions were very generous– we really wanted to take food back with us but couldn’t. You won’t be disappointed here.

The food here is Bomb. Authentic and made with love. TACOs are a speciality here simple and to the point, it’s hidden under an overpass, and undiscovered by most, except I, who come during my lunch breaks and am able to spoil myself on a college budget FAMILY owned and runned.

Let me start by saying this place belongs in the Mission district. When you have great latin cuisine happening outside the Mission you know it’s a place worth frequenting for that plate full of AYDIOSMIO! Everything on the menu is mouth watering great, but I do have my favorites. Love in every bite! [Insert el grito Mexicano]

The food is here is average, but the location is charming and cozy. Come here if you’re looking for a relaxing lunch or break. If you’re hurry, you’re better off dining elsewhere. I recommend their sandwiches and chicken quesadilla, though they’re slightly pricey at $ 10 each. — — - I’ve been in the area a long time, and I’ve seen this shop change owners and staff twice. When I first arrived in the area It first a very nice bistro/café. The staff were among the most charming I’ve ever met. The food was as delicious as the ones at Two Sons Sandwiches two blocks down. Shortly afterwards, it changed to Rock Nation, swapping out both the owners and the staff. None of them had a clue how to start up restaurant. The food was average, and the wait time for the food was horrendous. After a month, none of my coworkers would ever visit despite the shop being right next door. Sadly, they still refuse to eat here because of the stigmata of what it used to be. The restaurant/café has now changed owners again. I believe they partially kept the staff. Fortunately, the staff is lot more experienced now. What used to be a 30-minute wait has now reduced to 10 minutes or less. The food is about the same. I miss the Mexican burritos from Rock Nation, and I miss the Chicken pesto avocado sandwiches w/mustard seeds from before then even more. However, it is what it is: a relaxing place to eat.
