Liang Kuan Alter Therapies Reflexology

Needed a chair massage and bingo! There it was, I found parking and had the most wonderful 30 min massage in a chair. Ming gave me a mini hand and calf massage but the concentration was on my shoulders which I really needed. When in the neighborhood I will go back.

Excellent quality massages; professional and kind customer service. Really the best massage spot of this genre. I’m a regular and love all therapists!

Two stars for not being open at 3pm on a Saturday.

My favorite, uTOEpia 2 was not available and so I thought I’d do myself the favor of giving another shop a go, check out options.
Although customer-​facing grace was not as warm, friendly and welcoming as I experience each visit at uTOEpia 2, Liang Kuan do provide a very competitive reflexology massage.
I was especially pleased by the thoroughness and attention given my calves and hamstrings that are very prone to being tight.
In fairness however I should point out that I had a 100-​minute session at Liang Kuan versus the 70-​minute treatment that I’ve come to prefer at uTOEpia 2.
Finally and if you compare the per-​minute charge requested at each establishment, uTOEpia 2 comes in ahead on the value proposition score card.
But, you could do a lot worse that Liang Kuan and, therefore, I do recommend Liang Kuan.

My husband and I decided to get massages on a whim while walking on Polk street on a Sunday afternoon. We both got the 60 min body massage for $ 40 each, and were helped immediately into rooms in the back (no sound barrier with the rest of the place). My massage was okay, I’ve had better acupressure massages (also, my masseuse burped like 3 times during the massage).
Pros: clean, new facility. unbeatable price.
Cons: ambiance, massage (you get what you pay for).

Wow. That is all I can say. We got a chance to receive a foot massage and I was completely floored at how amazing it was. Usually I get a bit sketched out by these places but I am so glad we had the opportunity to check this one out.
We walked in around 6pm on Sunday and chose the 50 minute foot/​neck/​shoulders massage for $ 24 (special). 15 mins in, my bf and I both fell asleep. It was THAT good. The ladies that work on us were both amazing. The pressure was on spot and the foot massage itself was soooo good. I will come back!
Great deals/​specials. The therapists are amazing! The massage was much needed and hit the spot. Highly recommend!
