Portions are ridiculous. That’s probably the only plus of this meal. My quesadilla was drenched in some mystery liquid– likely combo of juice from tomatoes, canned jalapeño and sour cream. While I appreciated the size of the potion there was no way I could finish this. It would have been a better experience without all the liquid. No one wants to eat a soggy quesadilla

I always get a hard shell grilled chicken taco and I hate it when this lady makes my taco. The food is cool but the quantity is not the Las Palmas way. Get it together people.

NEWOWNERS! Lady took my order over the phone for shrimp, chicken, rice & mushroom burrito, and told me to come to pick up in 10 minutes. I came, had to wait 25 minutes for her to make because she did not start it & she said they were busy, although there were only two people besides myself waiting there. When I go to pay, she told me $ 17.24!!! On top of the overpriced, bland, and disgusting burrito, that I could not finish due to lack of taste, she didn’t even grill it(toast) over the stove. When I asked to her why it wasn’t toasted, again she said she was busy and if I wanted it toasted that will be another 20 minutes. Customer service, sucks! Food, sucks! Pricing, super sucks! Go to the MISSION … DONOTGOHERE … you’ll be mad!!!

$ 12.99FOR A STEAKBURRITO!!! I recently moved back to my neighborhood this burritos place is new to me. I work in the mission the price was insane when she was ringing me up. I waited to eat it before writting the review it was disgusting, salty and it just nasty. Please don’t go in here, they are ripping people up, bad food and I had to ask for salsa. The salsa Verde is salt, water and green food coloring. Nasty!!!

I really wanted to like this place, mainly due to the fact that the pickings are slim when it comes to restaurants that are open past 9PM in the Bayview. Unfortunately, this place fell short in many ways. On our initial visit, we opted for the fish and chips. We order the fried catfish & shrimp combo with fries. What we got was quite mediocre, if that, in taste and quality. The catfish and shrimp were coated in cornmeal which lacked seasoning and not cooked to a crisp. But the worst part of the meal were the fries. They were so undercooked and soggy, we had to throw them away. Big waste of food and money. Although our initial experience was poor, we decided to give them another shot, but order something completely different on the menu. So on our second visit, we ordered the shrimp super burrito. It was not good either. Now, I didn’t expect a Mission quality burrito by any means, but once I saw the guy put in some pre-cooked shrimp, I already knew it wasn’t going to be good. That coupled with the shredded iceberg lettuce, tasteless rice, and cheddar cheese, it was just all bad. Even their salsas were lacking in flavor. I would have to be starving, desperate, and too lazy to drive further to ever come here again.

We ordered steak nachos and the #6 plate carne asada, shimp, and beans combo it was almost 34 dollars just for those two items. Please don’t waste your time and save your money go anywhere else but here!

YUMYUMYUM!!! I truly love this place! Food is delicious here! Mouth is watering just talking about it! I come here when I am feenin for some over sized shrimp nachos! HAHA Their portions are huge(not stingy). I haven’t tried many things on their menu because I usually come and order one thing and that’s there shrimp nachos but thing son the menu do look very good! :) Yesterday I tried their buffalo wings and although it came in this little brown bag they were actually very good! I was surprised. Tasty and well seasoned. Customer service is on point here! The workers in here are very nice and its not a big ol restaurant, it has 4 tables and they just put stools near the window deck(which I thought was a cute idea). It usually closes at 10pm so beware. I believe this is the only location in SF but their is also one in Oakland. I don’t know how good they are because I’m usually always at this one. If you haven’t had Las Palmas before you are truly missing out!

Best Place For Chicken/Fish/Shrimp Homemade fresh Soup in South West side of SF(Mission Bay/Dogpatch/Bayview) 9410794124 on 3rd St. Muni T train. Best Value. Large Soup Bowl $ 10.99 comes with rice, tortillas, fresh herbs and lime. Polite service. Casual and clean ambience.

Worse Burrito I’ve ever had in SF. I’m a regular at the fruitvale location. And I can honestly say that this SF Location has nothing in common with fruitvale one. I paid 12 bux for a super carne asada. The steak was dry, unseasoned, and a bunch of grizzle bits and other bad pieces I had to spit out. What really got me was the 3 – 4 cups of bland rice they used to make me think I had a big burrito. Smh. My burrito was easily 90% rice. Never again will I go back into that place. 12 dollar rice wrap! And they had the nerve to put 10 chips on my plate after I just spent 12 for a burrito. OAKLAND location. You better talk to your people. The going to ruin YOUR name. IJS

«Super» my arse!!! don’t ever go here! its hella wack! i just ordered a boiled chicken burrito with no beans and no rice and all it was was a soggy mess! they said it was white meat but i doubt it. don’t be fooled by the niceness of the workers or the 1 pound looking burritos. Looks can be deceiving. Seriously? $ 10 for a burrito? Hell nah. the tortilla stuck to the foil! when i cut the burrito in half about a cup of juice flowed out of it. American cheese? are you serious? LMFAO! what kind of place is this? Never again! Nasty! The green salsa was like water with bits in it. the only thing good about this place was the jalepenos on the side! Garbage! TRUST!!!

Okay, I would like to start off by saying that this place lives up to their name. I ordered a regular carne asada burrito and I swear to you, it looked like a super burrito. Everything that was in the burrito tasted fresh and when I say fresh, I mean literally. Nothing tasted processed. This place is on my top 5 goto Mexican restaurants. Their food is reasonably priced for the amount of food that you get. Oh and their horchata taste 10 times better than El Farlito’s. I order both the horchata and the regular burrito and only paid 8 bucks chips and salsa included!

Let’s be real, if you wanted«authentic» Mexican food, you’d make a trip to the Mission where there’s a high level of competition and obvious assumption that it has to be great in order to gain business from other similar establishments. Though I haven’t tried the entire menu at Las Palmas, I can probably bet that after my first visit, it’ll be a place I patronize because of its convenience. I came here today on my way home off 101 and was a bit thrown off by how expensive their super burritos were($ 9.50) for carne asada and pollo. I scanned all there specials and noticed a regular burrito(without sour cream and cheese) and was only $ 5.99, which seemed more reasonable to me. My food was ready within minutes(and why shouldn’t it considering I’m the only person there) and was on my way home. My baggie was a lot heavier than I anticipated, and it even came with chips and salsa! Got home, finally took out my burrito, and the size was enormous! For a standard brown paper bag, my burrito was just below the height of the bag and took up almost half the bag. Yep, its huge(and that’s what she said). I decided to cut half and save for later because my appetite gets the best of me as I’ll eat more than I really should. Turns out I was right. The chicken was grilled and seemed to lack moisture as I prefer. Regular burrito includes rice, beans, cilantro, salsa, meat. I’m super stuffed after finishing my half. I’ll honestly say it wasn’t the best damn burrito, but it definitely isn’t horrible as portrayed by others. They also offer more than the average restaurant in this type of cuisine. I also saw platters, soup, fish and chicken…(though they are across the street from Frisco Fried and that’s my FAVORITE place for fried chicken, PERIOD. Good luck trying to compete; /)

This place is the Bomb! The people who work here are so patient, I’ve been in here at times when customers are yelling at them and they are so calm. Catfish is perfection, garlic cheese fries are memorable, prawns are to die for! Place is always clean.

Agreeing with another Unilocaler. This place is hood, why else would the staff be behind the glass. Anyhoo…I give this place 3 stars based on friendliness of staff and the burrito for being the size of a football. Not a fan of cheddar cheese in my burrito and I couldn’t taste the grilled chicken, maybe it was lemony. Not rushing back, it was $ 21.19 for two burritos.

Alrighty so bein a BAYAREA native let me say this first, this spot is hood, what does that mean? It means its a spot on 3rd street in SF& most of us natives know, 3rd street is not for the faint of heart. First of all don’t come here expecting the crème de la crème of Mexican fine dinning. Might I reiterate… HOODSPOT. And no im not being a prejudice b!#ch I grew up in the hood, and while it was East Oakland hood rules can be easily adjusted nationwide. The fried fish is period. My fav is the snapper but they offer catfish, perch, blah blah blah. Now the Mexican food is a little different. **quick hood lesson*in the hood-more is MORE for example normal world-gold tooth, hood world-entire-gold-mouth, normal world, standard plain red nail manicure, hood world-all-the-possible-colors-known-to-man-on-one-finger-and-pictures-on-the-others-manicure** So they tend to go OVERTHETOP with the mexican food unless you tell them otherwise. Everyone is really nice and they can amend your food how you like it you just have to be specific and you can see them making it as well. The fish burritos… sooooo good. ANDHUGE! lol They can get a little crazy with that nacho cheese liquid on your nachos but you can just tell them you dont want it and bam problem solved. Its not just WHATYOUORDER its HOWYOUORDERIT :)

I tried out this new business, located on MUNI’s T-Line, with a coworker yesterday. We both ordered the fried catfish. My partner wanted potato salad, which they were out of, and so he settled for the coleslaw. Lucky for me they had coleslaw(one of my favorite sides). I thought it was pretty cool that they did offer extra fish in lieu of the unavailable side dish. The coleslaw, by the way, was excellent. Don’t come here if you’re in a hurry because the service is pretty slow. If, however, you don’t mind the wait(about 30 minutes for our order), you’re in store for some nice fried fish. The coating on the catfish wasn’t too heavy or greasy and the fish comes with two slices of wheat bread, hot sauce, and tartar sauce. The owner even gave us extra sauce when we asked for it. They also offer burritos, quesadillas and other items on the menu. I’ll be back again, but I have a feeling the crowds are only going to increase at this establishment. I just need to figure out what time of day is the best time to sneak in before the rush.

Las Palmas Super Burrito is a popular eatery from oaktown’s fruitvale that has recently opened in the bayview. décor is brown and white, otherwise sparse: the ordering/pick up station is enclosed in see thru plastic/glass and constantly jammed. menu: super burritos, fried seafood, desserts sampling: –reg sole order with cole slaw(9.75) 6 whole pieces of corn meal breaded sole fillets. you can tell it’s fresh since the bones are still in some of the fish. –cole slaw, a small container, a little sour but ok –pretty good value. 30 minutes wait though. crumbs” –super burritos can be seen being actually made. chicken combo(8.25?) had 2 scoops rice, 2 scoops, beans, 3 scoops chicken, handful of cheese, lettuce, tomatoe, and a dash of sour cream): enough for 2 meals. –many people in line giddy they no longer have to go to oaktown for cheap burritos. –burritos made within 10 minutes, fried order took 30 minutes… –everything seem made to order… worth waiting for.
