You know, for $ 8, you get a lot of gyro for your money at Kaböb Trölley. Sure, there are more veggies than meat(and the meat is slicked kind of thin), but I like the fact that the veggies are pickled. Plus, they manage to throw some interesting things in there, like peppers and green beans. It’s not the best one I’ve ever had, but I like how quick and easy it is.

I’m giving this business 1 star based on the fact that they fraudulently charged me an excessive amount for my meal. On further review on my bank statement I noticed instead of being charged the $ 8.70 I was charged $ 87 plus tip that came out to about $ 100. Why I signed because his iPhone screen was completely cracked and couldn’t make out what I was paying for ontop of that you couldn’t even enter email to receive a copy because the screen was so messed up in the dark inside where they have light must of been another story. I will make sure to let all the 100 associates that work with me are fully aware because 90% of the associates cross the street to eat there.

We usually catch the kabob trolley at Streat Food park in the SOMA, and everything we’ve had has been delicious! I love their falafel. It very moist and flavorful. The pita is also very fresh and gets toasted on the grill, which makes it extra tasty. My boyfriend always orders the lamb and beef gyro. He says the same thing about the meat that I say about the falafel, it is flavorful and not dry. Also, the tsatziki is excellent, so order extra!

I was really looking forward to trying the Kabob Trolley because of all the great reviews, and I’m a big fan of anything falafel. I ordered the falafel salad and the dish looks delicious, but unfortunately it looks better than it tastes. It looks like they give enough tzatziki sauce, but it dries on the falafel, and definitely not enough to cover the salad underneath. I was only able to eat about a quarter of the lettuce, otherwise I was eating a dry salad. The tomatoes hardly had any red color to them, and they had no taste. The cucumbers and green beans were nice and crispy though. The falafel itself was ok, not great but not bad either. They weren’t that warm and got cold quickly. The pita was a little stale, and not as soft as I’d hoped. My fiancé got the gyro with fries and spicy tzatziki sauce, and the meat definitely had more flavor than the falafel. I’d try his dish next time and ask for more tzatziki.

I tried Kabob Trolley with Off The Grid in Pleasanton last Sunday. My chicken cheesesteak was so delicious! The meat is tender and juicy with a lot of flavor. They use fresh ingredients! Service is very good and quick. Definitely will be back for more of their good food.

First time trying Kabob Trolley, and I’ll definitely be back(wasn’t sure whether to rate four or five stars because it’s a first visit, but the non-food aspects were great, so erring on the positive side). I had a mixed beef and chicken plate. I asked for extra meat on both, and definitely got my money’s worth. More importantly, it tasted great(including the sauce). If I have to find something to gripe about, it’s that it wasn’t spicy(I asked for spicy), but it was flavorful. The pita was excellent — wondering if they made it(tasted like it). A few people ordered Gyros around me, and they looked amazing — something out of a cook book. Planning to go back for more the next time I find the truck. On the non-food aspects: cool looking truck and, more importantly, cool people running it. Good vibe. To the one-star folks below, I would give it another chance: most of the trucks are just«ok,» but based on my experience, this one’s legit. Look forward to eating my way through the menu.

Sadly I threw out more than half my Gyro with Fries order. The fries were so stale and lukewarm and the Gyro was the flat precut variety– salty and bland. I feel regret I just chose wrongly at the Emeryville Off the Grid.

GLUTENFREEPITABREAD!!! I found this truck at Off the Grid in Emeryville across from the public market. I love Gyros but find it difficult to find Gluten Free options for pita bread. Thay all changed today. Today I had the best Gyro of my life and the GF pita was amazing. Seriously good food check them out.

We caught the Kabob Trolley during the Off The Grid in Pleasanton. The wait for the food was atrocious and they lost one customer’s order, so they get dinged a star. However, the lamb gyro I got was incredibly delish! Maybe I was just starving from waiting so long, lol! To be fair, they did get a ridiculously large order right before and they do assemble them after you order. The gyro wrap was very tender with a crisp exterior. Quite satisfying! Their gyro meat was nicely grilled and juicy. Great, umami flavor. I really liked their yogurt sauce… not too tangy, not too mild. The lettuce was fresh and crunchy. A nice change of pace from the usual greasy food truck fare.

Wanted to eat here. Schedule said they would have the trolley at its usual spot with address. I noticed construction on that block and decided to call the number to see if they could tell me if its temporarily using another spot. No one picked up. Checked their FB page. No mention at all about where to find them. Very disappointed. You would think a place wants customers, especially ones that will find them easily. You might’ve just lost me before you even had me.

They have pretty good food. I like that they offer gluten free and low carb options. And their truck is modeled after the famous cable cars of San Francisco.

YUM. Just ordered the falafel gyro and oh my was it good! Being middle eastern that’s quite the statement as this is the food of my people! :) really good falafels, I didn’t know they put spicy peppers in there not a fan but was my fault I didn’t know! Other than that it’s good quick and affordable. I reccomend it highly, very convenient from my Office as well

Had the gyro on fries, mind blown. Juicy meat, tangy yogurt, and crisp fries. If you stumble upon this gem you have got to try it.

If I could give a zero I would. First red flag should’ve been the order they messed up while I was waiting in line. It’s been 20 minutes and my food is still not here. There’s even people ahead of me. Afterwards they started telling people it would be at least a 20 minutes wait. For a food truck this is unacceptable. I’m not even looking forward to this food anymore. My favorite is going out for lunch and not eating lunch. No matter how good the food is, nothing will make up for making me waste my time. Avoid

I had the Cheesesteak with Tri-tip. It had good flavor so I enjoyed that, but I think I expected it to be more like a Philly cheesesteak. I’d get it again — next time I’ll try one of the other options. My friend had the Gyro with steak/lamb and liked it well enough, but what he really wanted was the meat over rice, which they had run out of so he was kind of disappointed.

while Kabob Trolley has a nice vehicle to dispense it’s eats, it isn’t totally clear what they are serving: kabobs, gryo, falafel, sliders, shawarma, or whatever unless the menu says so. usually just a description without a name for the food. locale: soma street park(8⁄4) eats:marinated chicken or tri-tip kabob on a roll with chopped tomatoes, lettuce, red onions, cucumber with tzatziki sauce. etc,(3.99) –order taker asked did i want a «slider»? since menu doesn’t mention slider, i read the description to her –got a mini-sammie, a partial of an hoagie or baguette, no slider bun present. –portion small, ingredients fresh. –just a few pieces of meat, mostly veggie and sauce just a so so value. 10⁄9: marinated tri-tip(9) –some chewiness, not so tender, –full order, but not worth it. take outs: –most entrees near $ 10 pricier than most sit down eateries. 3 stars for lack of vaule, food taste –4 stars.

Wow! Delicious. I stumbled across the street food park after visiting Sports Basement… Scoured the park, checking out all the trucks, seeing what spoke to my belly. Found this Gyro Truck and the pictures looked pretty good! I haven’t had a gyro in awhile so I figured, what the heck. Ordered the traditional beef gyro(non spicey) and holy cow. It was great! Fair price $ 8 for it. Rather big. Soft and warm pita bread… loads of dressing and lots of fresh cucumber and tomato. Good amount of meat. Tasty beef meat. Overall it was really delicious and I will totally try them out again if I happen across their truck. The girl at the window was nice. She seemed new and a little timid, but was friendly. She didn’t push anything on me either, which was nice. Try them out! You can’t beat a delicious $ 8 gyro. I’m super full now and happy I found them.

Yumm the beef/lamb gyro salad was It was thin sliced juicy greasy(in the best way possible-the delicious way) meat laid over a crisp romaine salad w tomatoes cucumbers and onions with a drizzle of thinned out tsatziki– delectable! My only beef was the portion size– waay too small and I would have loved some pita– maybe a wedge on the side or dare I suggest a play on croutons!!! I also would have liked a little feta crumbled on it. Nevertheless, would totally order like 3 of these next time I’m there. Delish.

Awww, the cute Gyro & Cheesesteak Trolley looks like a SF cable car and it serves up gyros and falafel. They have beef/lamb or chicken gyros and falafel that you can get in a pita($ 7), cheesesteaks made with kabobs($ 8-$ 10) and gyro salads($ 8). All the meat is halal and it’s grilled to order. * Gyro salad($ 8): warm thin slices of spiced beef/lamb gyros, chopped lettuce, chopped tomatoes, grilled onions, cucumbers topped with creamy, homemade spicy tzatziki… it’s certainly a yummy salad, the meat is spiced right and very tender, there’s a ton of sauce — tzatziki and a creamy cilantro sauce too… while the sauces were delicious, there was so much of them that the salad didn’t feel as healthy as it could have been. I would have liked more lettuce and less sauce. The Gyro & Cheesecake Trolley is usually parked on King St. by AT&T Park but it also moves around. I found it at SoMa StrEat Food Park.
