After the death of our grandmother, I had the displeasure of trying to track down the will and trust for her estate. I ordered a copy of the grant deed from title and found out that Edward Jew was the attorney who put her trust and will together in 1997. Thankfully they are still in business in the same location as then. I called and spoke with Edward Jew’s daughter, Evelyn Jew, who is also an attorney. Although it became apparent that my grandmother had amended her will and this firm did not assist her with the amendment, I found Ms. Jew knowledgeable, very helpful in explaining the process, and a pleasure to speak with during this difficult time. Prior to speaking with her, I’d conversed with three other probate attorneys who were of little to no help. I will be reaching out to Evelyn Jew in the future to assist us with putting our family’s trust together as well as recommend my clients to utilize her services as well.(yes, I am quite pleased to have met someone in that area of law put forth an effort to explain the steps in detail rather than provide me with short, clipped answers.) Back to the drawing board… but this time with a better understanding of what’s entailed. Thank you Ms. Evelyn Jew.
