HyperOptics Optometry

Stellar. They’ve been so helpful to me. I was having difficulty with the prescription for one of my eyes and they’ve been extremely helpful in figuring it out.

The staff here are absolutely fabulous. Dr. Ha was knowledgable and very informative. She made me feel comfortable and took the time to get to know me while still being quick and efficient. A.J. was extremely helpful with scheduling my appointment as well as finding the right frames for me while staying within my price range. He spent almost an hour and a half with me looking for the right pair that fit my face and fashion.
Also since the store is on the Haight I was able to grab a bite to eat in addition to some retail therapy. I am definitely returning here for all of my eye needs.

Love this place! Very flexible with booking and work to accommodate your schedule. Friendly staff at the front desk and cool atmosphere– it almost feels like an apple store. Dr. Diana was super friendly and very thorough during her exam. She answered all my questions and was easy to talk to. Looking forward to my next visit!

I first checked out HyperOptics years ago because Dr. Will used to be my neighbor and I wanted to support his new business. But, even if I did not know Dr Will I would still think that he has the best practice in the city. He is a thorough and thoughtful optometrist and he has the best selection of high quality frames. I love every single frame that I have gotten at HyperOptics.

I am somewhat blind as I type this review since I had my pupils dilated, but here goes…
Fast, friendly, and expedient service in under an hour from the girls who greet you, have you fill out paperwork, and perform the routine tests for peripheral vision, to Dr. Diana, who is professional, quick-​witted, and expert, while making the somewhat traumatizing eye exam experience as fun and no pressure as it can be. I received a thorough eye exam, «the works,» as she referred and not only was checked out within 45 minutes, her notes were comprehensive on my report, and she left no stone unturned as she checked again and again fine-​tuning the prescription.
The décor of the store is lovely and warm, which doesn’t fit in with the Haight Street vibe as you walk in. The selection of glasses is decent, although on the sparse side, but beautifully displayed and offering the high end labels, to the more unknown European labels.
A nice added bonus when I returned home to a pair of retuned and cleaned pair of glasses.

It was easy and painless to book an appointment. Dr. Diana was friendly and so were all the front desk staff. The selection of frames is fantastic. They helped me figure out how to best use my insurance too.
My glasses are super chic, although I still have the problem of my ears getting tired and not relaxing. I don’t think that’s anyone’s fault though. Some people just weren’t meant for glasses.

I went to HyperOptics for my most recent eye exam and to reorder contact lenses and had a great experience. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and the doctor (whose name I cannot remember) was really thorough with her exam. For my contact lens order, the staff offered to submit the rebate paperwork on my behalf which was really nice.

Ugh, these guys are great. If you want a slick pair of eyes but don’t know where to start, start here. Just walk in. They’ll have five frames in front of you before you can say, «I can’t see without my glasses.»

Reputable Optometry with Great Staff
With any eye issue, people will tend to panic and think of the worst imaginable outcome. But luckily, HyperOptics was able to diagnose the problem swiftly and accurately. HyperOptics also stays open later than normal optometry establishments to accommodate late day accidents. I had Dr. Diana to diagnose my eye and did so in a matter of minutes. Next day, eye felt great as well as received a phone call checkup from the doctor herself. Great establishment of reputable optometrists and attentive staff.

I went to HyperOptics for the first time two weekends ago. I was greeted by friendly receptionists as soon as I got in. Jason assisted me with my frame selection and offered useful advice. He walked me through my insurance and did a great job explaining my vision benefits. What I really liked about HyperOptics is that everyone working there was really friendly and genuine. Dr. Lisa was very thorough with her examination.
The frame selection is top notch. They might not have as many frames as Lens Crafters but most of the frames at HyperOptics are awesome. Lens Crafters might have triple the selection but most of them are framed that were popular back in Benjamin Franklin’s days.
