The ‘Ho’ is still here! In Unilocal, you will find this location has been closed. That’s Wrong Info! Even you’ll see the Ho’s sign. Now, It calls as GungHo Tavern. So What? Same Shit! Really filthy inside that you must be so drunk not knowing it. Always empty. No wonder. Everything else is same but the cook. That’s all. I’ll give 3 for the fast delivery Chinese food.

Horrible food I’m not that picky when it comes to Chinese but this was pretty much inedible. Sesame chicken was soggy, potstickers were hard and wontons in wonton soup were a mystery meat and gelatin AND, we didn’t even get fortune cookies. Major fail

Had a terrible experience ordering food from this place via Seamless. Delivery time was supposed to be 45 – 60 minutes, but after more than an hour they hadn’t come. When we called them to check, they claimed they’d never gotten the order. This was not true — Seamless had proof that they’d confirmed the order right after it was placed. Losing our order was bad enough, but what really pissed me off was that they didn’t take any responsibility for it.

You really can’t go wrong with their happy hour from 4pm to 8pm. I saw this place walking around the first night I was in town and sadly chose to go to a Thai restaurant that wasn’t too stellar. I waited a few nights and decided to hit this place up. Chinese restaurants here in Hampton Roads don’t double as bars. I like that this place has that ability. There wasn’t much going on at the 4 o’clock hour but I was able to catch a good conversation with my bartender while eating some $ 3 fried pork dumplings and Chinese garlic chicken wings. Rice was an extra $ 2. The wings were crispy and juicy and the pork dumplings were nice and soft. I thought a good texture as oppose to some places where they can be too chewy. I enjoyed a couple of beers while at dinner. A great place to go for a light snack/dinner before going out on Polk Street for a crazy night. Highly recommended. Cheap prices. Good service. Good company.

this is our go to stop for Chinese take out. This time I got dropped off to pick up my order and ended up passing it because they changed the sign out front, so I had to circle the block.(that was annoying) My food was ready and hot when I got there which was fabulous. For $ 12 I got the combo for one(chow mein, an egg roll, kung pao chicken and a side of hot and sour soup), and a fortune cookie of course… I’d say it’s a pretty good deal. This was my dinner and I was able to bring the leftovers for lunch today. The food is kinda greasy, but has good flavor so I’m giving them 4 stars.

Fast Chinese food should really be the way Ho’s operates. Quick order, low prices, and attentive service for food that is easily prepared yet delicious. This place has new management and it seems to know what it takes to get it in the right direction. I am a little skeptical of the place having a bar, not sure what market that caters to, but I think the food appeals to Asians and non-Asians alike. American Chinese done right with a sprinkle of authenticity in the menu.

Is it really so difficult to find GOOD Chinese Food Delivery in SF?! It has been 2 ½ years since I have lived here and man, this has been a difficult journey for me. I was so disappointed with Ho’s. The food was AWFUL! Not one thing had flavor. The vegetable chow mein was soggy and no taste at all(HOWISTHISPOSSIBLE?) Bad pan fried chicken, not crispy, no texture, the hot and sour soup was not hot NOR sour… UGH! The only bright side was that with our order they gave us free veggie egg rolls but they had no flavor. You pretty much had to drown them in the sauce to get them to taste like anything. They were, at least, crispy. Plus side it was cheap. Down side it was awful… Nothing was hot when it arrived… I am still on the search for a great Chinese food delivery place… if it is even out there Bottom Line: NO

I usually don’t trek out to this area for Chinese food, but I just went to both a birthday party and baby shower recently where both hosts ordered party trays from Ho’s. Not bad… not bad at all and from what each of them told me, very affordable too! I was able to try a few items from their menu and all of them were pretty delicious. Great«wok» flavors, especially their salt & pepper chicken wings and calamari, yum! Their crab rangoon and Chinese chicken salad was also a hit too. The next time I’m hosting a party, I’ll definitely consider getting food from here! I was told that they deliver all around the city too! :)

A place that has good food and a super fast city wide delivery? I must be dreaming. Ho’s saved my ass on one of those lazy hungover days when I really didn’t want to get out or bed. I always order a feast because the more you order the more free things they give you. How could you go wrong with free soup and an extra entrée just by ordering a couple dishes. I had the fried rice and Mongolian beef chow mein as well as crab rangoon and pork chops and a beef and eggplant veggie dish. Seeing as I was watching my figure. Basically everything on the menu is under $ 8 so how could you go wrong. I’m definitely going to order from here as my go to delivery when I crave some good Chinese food.

Good Food, Good Service, Great Price = its rare to get all these three things from a restaurant, but not at Ho’s!!! Whenever I don’t feel like cooking or feel like going out I order in Ho’s. They have a huge range of food selections for great prices. Good quality food! The woman on the phone was very friendly and patient while I couldn’t decide between two dishes. I live in the sunset and it’s a huge plus that the food comes fast and piping hot. Seriously I’ve never had food delivered so fast before. Don’t know how they do it, but I love it! It’s no wonder that I order from Ho’s rather than all the other restaurants around me. Next time you are thinking of ordering in, call up Ho’s!

I love this spot! Everything on the menu is $ 7.95 or cheaper unless you’re looking for a seafood dish. What’s even better are their specials. They have so many specials you want to keep ordering more and more food to reap the benefits of free stuff! Who doesn’t like free stuff?!? Another plus is they deliver citywide. How many places do you know deliver citywide? Delivery times are lightning fast considering they’re driving ALL over the city and not just surrounding neighborhoods. Great place to kick back and relax in the comfort of your own home and get that Chinese food delivered to your door.

This is my friend’s favorite place to eat, literally because of the name«Ho’s.» The service here was pretty good. The food came out rather fast, but I didn’t get sick. Bonus! Maybe I was having a good night with my stomach? Recommend to get the combo meal located on the back of the menu. It is $ 9.95 and up for starting one item with soup, and your rice, chow mein or fried rice and an egg roll or potsticker. Portions were on the large side. They offer free delivery.

Yuck! So awful. I went to Ho’s several years ago. I remember liking their fried rice. A few months ago, I ordered delivery and thought it was ok. This past Friday, I went to the restaurant with my husband and man, it was awful. The restaurant was completely empty except for the cooks who were eating in the back. Everything we ordered was average or horrible. Chow mein — which I love — below average Shrimp w/Lobster sauce — ok Lamb Clay Pot — meh Honey Chicken Wings — fine Chinese Chicken Salad — meh Mind you, I was pretty tipsy and I still think it was not good. Isn’t all food good when you’re under the influence. I didn’t want to box it up to take home but husband insisted on not wasting food. Everything was inedible on Sunday morning except the wings which were ok after crisping them up in the oven. Never again :(

Love me some Ho’s after a long night… Fast delivery. Fair prices. Good deals. Food: despite some of the terrible reviews… Ho’s has always been solid. It’s good and what you expect from Chinese delivery! Walnut prawns– amazing! Cashew Chicken– Really good, sometimes too nutty and less chicken tho– Fried Rice– solid. Much better than chow mein. Chow Mein– okay. Sesame chicken– good. Sweet n sour pork(chicken) — decently good. Hot n Sour soup– Really Good! Generals Chicken(Fried) — eh, okay. Mongolian beef– Great! Overall: I would give a solid 3.5 stars. Don’t be scared off by some of these reviews… Ho’s is just fine and allows you to get your Chinese fix in at a fair price… I still got love for my Ho’s!

The crab ragoon is yummy, and I like the bar. This is the kind of place I would take a secret date or something. It’s close by my place so why not.

Ho’s before bros!!! This is good chinese food! It’s not the MSG-enhanced crap that’s been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. It’s cooked fresh and it’s affordable. No, it is not gourmet chinese ‘cuisine’. It’s just simple honest ‘food’. My friend swears by thier hot&sour soup to cure any hangover or ailment. Oh, and Ho’s delivers!!!
