This place isn’t that good, but it’ll do if you’re in a pinch. When I went there they didn’t have youtiao and while their congee tasted good they have smaller containers than daisun g&l bakery a few blocks away. Props for being the only place on Leland open on Christmas! It’s CLOSED! It’s now some other Chinese restaurant!

Neighborhood, family-owned spot. They sell random chinese food ranging from certain chow meins and ho-fun to steamed dim sum and other random rice bowls and plates. Given that it is a fast-food chinese place, the food does sit there on the counter until it is sold but they are covered though. I have had the dim sum a few times and each of those times, I had a long night of drinking the night before. All the«different» kinds of dim sum, especially the chicken, pork and beef sui mai, tastes the same. I pretty much just ended up putting on a bunch of soy sauce and hot sauce and the actual taste of the dim sum didn’t matter anymore. The restaurant itself isn’t very clean so it doesn’t help the credibility of the food but being a neighborhood restaurant, those who come here don’t really care much for the food but more so to hang out and have something to do. I wouldn’t really recommend this place if you’re looking for ACTUAL chinese food or dim sum but you just want something(regardless of the taste) to fill you up, go for it. Oh, by the way, it’s very cheap.

horrible. i dont know why this place is still here. sure, the food is cheap but its DISGUSTINGAND it was COLD! i rather pay an extra couple bucks and walk down the street to the chinese restaurant in the corner. Service is good but its fast food so what do you expect? ***Parking***: Street parking only. Make sure to feed the meters or go down a block or 2 for free residential parking. CASHONLY!

Came here once and will never come back. I was in the area and wanted something to eat since I didn’t bring lunch. Want to save some money and get something simple, so off to get some dim sum. The food here was extremely greasy. The load their foods heavy oils for flavor instead of putting actual quality ingredients.

A-OK is how I felt after I picked up some stuff there. I love cheap Chinese, especially when it’s so close to home. $ 1.80 for a small jook with pork and thousand year old egg — heck yeah on a cold day! 3 pieces of siu mai for $ 1.50, that’s cool. I’ll probably drop by every now and then. Love these small family owned places. Maybe I’ll pick up a rice plate next time.

Small mom and pop store making dim sums and Chinese goods for the morning for breakfast and lunch. I usually come here to get some dim sum when I feel like it. It’s not the best but it’s okay I would say. They use to be cheaper but they raised it up a bit as business sort of picked up. I believe they make all there dim sum here in their kitchen daily. –Parking– Parking can be hard as they redesigned the street on Leland Ave with limited amount of parking spaces. Usually the majority of the spaces are metered.

It’s just ok, nothing amazing. I may have had a bad night, but the food was all cold. Well seasoned, but nothing amazing. I’ll go back, it’s local.

Okay. So I’ve actually been coming here a lot more now, trying new things that make my tastebuds shout yowza. I guess I reviewed too soon. Because the little asian pancakes with either custard or red bean are really good. And I just had a fried dumpling yesterday morning around 8am, when all the items are fresh and hot, and it was sooo good. Can’t forget the shark fin dumpling. Yumm. Now I am planning to go there tomorrow morning to pick up a few. And I can’t forget to say that I had a short addiction to the rice cakes, but I don’t reccommend saving them for later, because like most food, it’s better to savor it once it is served.
