Great refreshing salad. Usually not a big olive fan but they just added a hint of saltiness without that heavy pickled taste that I’m usually so adverse to — I think it helps that they were green olives, very fresh, and were cut up into small pieces that were pretty soft. Now that I’m looking at the menu description again, I dont remember any eggplant — maybe it was just very finely ground or something. The greens are baby arugula, very fresh, light, but you get a crunch from the sunflower seeds and texture from the quinoa. Made a little more heavy/​filling by the dressing (a light oil — just enough). Generally savory flavors, nothing too tangy or sharp. The bacon was amazing — very thin pieces, they deep fry it so it’s curly, evenly crispy, and wonderfully salty.
