Awesome place to grab a quick bite. It’s nice to support a family owned business near my work place and their pizza and burgers options are very tasty. Sb and Yaph are always helpful. I’ve been going there for a while now and, Just realized they deserve a GOOD Unilocal review. Thanks again

Literally 2 blocks from the Main Street by pier 39 and the wharf. A less than 5 min walk. Late night pizza by the slice… Does it get any better? Yes. Pizza was great! And to top it off got 10 percent off just for checking in. Now the finer points… Beer yes. Pepper shaker easy to shake and peppers actually came out same with the oregano at ever table. And garlic and SIRACHA at every table. First time in SF if I’m ever back in the area. I will give this place more business. Also FREEDELIVERY. So I added a 6 piece wing after the pizza. For all the wing critics out there very large. Deep fried. Breaded. OUT!

Order 2 medium pizzas, and they screwed my order not once but twice, and to boot my son picks up the order so we can leave to his house. Which is in Oakland 30 minutes away to find out they still screwed our order up. Wtf!

We were looking for something to eat at a late hour and were looking for something inexpensive. So can’t go wrong with pizza I thought. We drove to this place it was empty so it was fast service. The cashier didn’t greet us or anything just took out order and we ended up with the family deal which was advertised as $ 20.99 but plus the tax it ended up being $ 29 and some change. That’s a lot of taxes and we weren’t even given a receipt to check why. We got the pizza and it was actually really good. Missing some pepperoni but over all good.

The pizza here was great! Thin crust, and perfect blend of crust, cheese and sauce. We made our own with pepperoni, meatballs and mushrooms. So good! Loved the meatballs especially. My son had chicken fingers and said they were some of the best he’d had in a while. My nephew had buffalo wings and they were also very good. While we walked in on a Saturday at 7 and the place was empty, it did fill up later. It was during the Warriors play off game and I’m guessing more people take out from here than stay and eat in. It’s not a fancy place, but it was perfect for our group of 7 who just wanted a good solid pizza and beer that was walking distance from our hotel near Fisherman’s Wharf. It was so much better than the corporate dining options around there!

4÷3÷16: We were suckered in by the huge menu visible from the outside through open doors… it looked so inviting! Even though the place was completely empty(and stayed that way for the entire duration of our lunch) it looked like a cozy family-run Italian pizza place, which would have totally hit the spot. We just ran 11mi and took a shower at the gym, and really just needed to sit down and relax… but alas, it was not the most enjoyable experience… Again, the place was completely empty, which should have tipped us off. But anyway since I didn’t see anything about pizza-by-the-slice, which was all we wanted, and I didn’t see the typical rotating pizza display thingie, or any cut pizzas on display, naturally I asked, «Do you sell pizza by the slice?» And then he STARED me down. And kept staring… then finally let out a little, «…yeah…» Then I looked around, obviously confused cause I saw nothing still, and I said, «well, what do you have?» He suddenly lifted his shoulders in a heaving shrug, then let fall his accumulated poundage, sighing as loudly as he could, masterfully with a little puff of a mocking laugh… And then he beamed at me… and finally thrust out his arm towards the side, where there stood a stand with some toppings… ahhhhhhhhh k… guess I missed that… SORRY dude! So I ordered… and he… took my money wordlessly. Zero words. Nothing. But he did manage to give me a few more disdainful looks and frowns.(Yes, I did take a shower!) And then we sat down… A while later he comes back with two platters of pizza. Puts one in front of my gf. And puts one in front of me, ONTOPOFMYCELLPHONE!!! Metal platter with pizza right from the oven… HOT, on my frickin’ cell phone. Okay look… honestly, the pizza was REALLYBAD. Like, worse than frozen pizza from the supermarket bad. Seriously. I am not exaggerating. It was thin and dry. It was certainly not«New York» style as the signs say – possibly«New World Style» though if you’re talking the world just after colonization of America… The sausage was as low quality of sausage as you could possibly but probably not even buy. And it all just tasted horrible. But do I really even need to mention the food??? I cannot give a low enough score. Horrific. 1⁄5(and that’s too high) #pizza

After a rainy and stressful day at work i stumble upon this hidden gem in the wall. The pizza crew had a very warm welcoming as I approach the counter. The game was on warriors were playing great hang out spot with good vibes and good food must try there chicken wings and there pizza is amazing they also did a very special custom made calazone for my lady to go as well. This spot is a good hang out space for friends and family feels like your right at home. If you like thin crust this is by far one of the best pizza I’ve had living in san Francisco they can also do thick crust which we got on our calazone. Service was decent. My new go to spot

Having lived on the East Coast, we know NYC pizza. Goodfellas is delicious! We had a large pepperoni pizza and cheese bread for around $ 30 and it fed our family of 5. Nice sit down place, TV, and relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. I recommend it!

I literally just took a step out of this place really satisfied. I was already craving pizza and sadly I just came out of the gym and I noticed this pizzeria across the street, went over and the nice gentlemen at the cash register was really nice and giving me good recommendations. It took about 10 mins, didn’t wait too long. Took my first bite and I was amazed. Wishing this location wasn’t so far from where I live :(until next time goodfellas, the pizza was great, thank you!

I came here with my boyfriend because we were starving and wanted a quick slice. I ordered a slice of mushroom pizza. All I could taste was the sauce that was way too sweet. Dough had no taste and neither did the cheese. Mushrooms didn’t add much either. It also took 20 min to get the slice and there was only one other couple there. Not good. I don’t understand how this is considered old world pizza.

Let me start with this… How do you get hot link and hot wings mixed up??? I ordered hot link hotdog and they gave hot wings… Maybe if the cashier and the guy making pizza wasn’t high as hell they wouldn’t have messed up the order I walked 8 blocks for that on top of they burnt the pizza they gave us… Jus horrible efffffff this place… The owner needs to hit me up and refund my money ASAP

Picked up a slice, old world style. Service and prices are fine(for San Francisco) but the pizza just isn’t good. The crust is too hard, and where’s the flavor?

I wanted a bite after a show on a late late Friday night and GoodFella’s was there for me. I ordered a slice and it was really ready in a few minutes– hot and delicious. The waffle fries and baklava were also very good. Great service. Thanks.

This review is for their kabobs. I recently ran a half marathon and the next day needed some serious protein. I had come here previously for the pizza – it was okay. I had noticed that they had kabobs and decided to come here for it. Wow, the kabobs are amazing! And it’s so much food, definitely worth it. I got the combo beef and chicken and both are good. The beef is more of a ground patty(similar to seekh kabobs, which I love). It’s very flavorful and comes with a green dipping sauce(reminds me of chimichurri). I would definitely order it again. It’s about $ 15/$ 16.

This made me sooooooo sick. I have horrible gas and have been in bed for the last 5 hours be cause of it. I got a combo and the only thing that had flavor was the chicken, the Pepsi was good tho.

If u can, go somewhere else. Pizza tastes like plastic. Customer service was okay. Told me it would take 15 minutes. I came 20 minutes later and they barely out the pizza inside oven after I paid. I can understand that just in case of no shows. but why even bother taking my phone order?

Its not the nicest staff in the world but who cares when they have cheap pizza that is actually really good. Most of the orders are made as you order them and oven baked in the back and you can actually see them making it. It is a better deal and feels less processed than dominos or pizza hut. They were always good with large orders as well. It usually would take them a long time to deliver but they always brought the pizza that was ordered and it was always good. Never had an issue with them not coming through with the order. The staff can be kind of rude and not really listen when you are in store but you get used to it after awhile. The inside of the store is actually really pleasant and you can chill and watch tv while taking your slice. You can order by the slice which i would recommend and the whole pizzas can be a bit pricey. Also the slices are huge. You can order two of them and be full no problem. The best deal and the best item on the menu are the mozzerella sticks. Its not what you usually think of when you think of cheese sticks. Its actually a whole pizza cut into sticks. It is an incredible value for less than five dollars and it has the best mix of garlic and cheese. They provide dips and i usually get this instead of getting a pizza. Overall this is a great pizza joint with so many in the city it is worth checking out when you are looking for a cheap meal in north beach. It is not a overpriced as the other pizza places on the wharf and you should make the trek over to enjoy the pizza here!

Is it pizza? Sure. Is it good? Meh. Are they quick? No. Don’t believe their 4 minutes to make you a slice. I came for a quick lunch and unfortunately it wasnt. Like a lot of pizza joints, it’s passable as pizza. Not saying it’s pad, but I don’t think the 7 bucks I paid for one slice was worth it. Lesson learned.

Stumbled upon this hidden treasure after a long day exploring Fisherman’s Wharf & Alcatraz. Went in, cute signs & friendly faces. The prices seemed a little high, but after receiving our food it was more than worth it. I really liked the logos of the shirts so asked if they sold them, after seeming a little surprise at the interest they informed us they didn’t. We were standing outside waiting for an Über back to the place were staying and they ran outside and handed me the last shirt they had for their employees for free. Amazing experience and more than exceptional employees, we will definitely be back before heading home to San Diego!

I give it 5 stars because of the variety. You’re with 2 people or more and everyone wants something different no problem, you can get pizza slice and the others can get hamburgers, sandwich, hot dogs, salads, calzone, kabob etc. Friendly service, cheaper than most places in this area

Wow, the false positive reviews on here really demonstrate the worthlessness of Unilocal! This place is mediocre. Ordered a small pizza with pep & mush and barely got any of either(nor much cheese for that matter). Pizza was cooked just right and the dough is tasty and not an excessive amount yeast(read:making it too pillowy, a persistent issue with SF pizza). In addition to the stinginess of the toppings, it’s extremely overpriced($ 24 for a small 2-topping pizza… srsly)…irrespective of its location. To those that have said ‘best in town’…you really lack credibility. Not even close.

First off, their mural is magnificent! I love it!!! I took a pretty cool pano of it, so you can see it too! This is a nice, clean, pizza place with not many frills. I can tell you they definitely make each pizza at the time of ordering. It takes a bit longer, but it’s worth it. I really loved my vegetarian pizza. It’s got tons of delicious veggies, including artichokes, which isn’t typical, but certainly welcome on my pizza! The pizza is new york style, with a really well made sauce. You can just tell this place takes pizza seriously. I’d say GoodFella’s is a bit expensive for a slice, but it’s San Francisco and it’s high quality. This is a good spot to escape the touristy stuff and just have a moment to yourself.
