ive seen this park from the overpass many times, and i was curious, so came here with a couple friends after going to mr and mrs miscallaneous. small, but has quite a bit packed into it. lots of trees, plenty of open space for dogs, a looped path, various work out stations, and benches. the grass is not in good enough shape for any kind of sports, even casually. one star off for being noisy due to proximity to freeway.

Dear Unilocal reviewers: Categories are important. This is a review of Esprit Park in San Francisco’s Dogpatch neighborhood. I realize that there is already a business on Unilocal named Friends of Esprit Park and that this business is categorized as a park and that seventeen reviewers have already reviewed this business as if it were a park listing. I have plenty of FtRs. I like getting them, but I didn’t create this listing because I’m FtR-hungry. I created it because it’s needed. I don’t care how friendly you are to the park or whether your organization created the park or maintains the park or cares for the park or does anything else related to the park. Friends of Esprit Park is not the same as Esprit Park. One is a group of people; the other, a physical place. If I wanted to review Friends of Esprit Park, I would, but I want to review the park. So here goes: It’s a park. It’s rectangular. It’s cute and unexpected and between Indiana and Minnesota. I can say from years of personal experience and even more years of fond memories and visits that a lot of wonderful stuff and people exist between Indiana and Minnesota. It needs more play equipment. Or better play equipment. Sincerely, John S.
