Eduardo and and his wife Jina are simply the best. My experience at their salon was like no other in my life. Simply delightful. The salon is located in FiDi making it extremely convenient for people working here to get an A-​list haircut. Prices are reasonable for the superb talent. Eduardo is not only flexible with appointments, he is truly down to earth and fun to be around. Definitely going back!

Eduardo is a rock star! Every cut is consistent and our conversations are wonderful. I stick with a hairstylist for life… it’s the best therapy ever! He’s fantastic, and I’m grateful to sit in his chair. His salon is comfortable and modern and his prices are reasonable. His eye for style is fresh and he truly listens to ensure you are satisfied. The décor is great (very clean), with great prouducts, everyone is very friendly and very helpful. And the salon is usually full of great reading material.

I don’t even know where to begin – Eduardo has been my hair stylist since 1997! I am Chinese so I have straight black hair but by the time Eduardo gets through with me, my hair looks fabulous! I trust him so much I just walk in, sit in the chair and let him do whatever he wants (to my hair =)) I get compliments all the time on my hair cuts and color. Eduardo is the best, and lots of fun, too!

Eduardo is the best! He does incredible mens haircut and actually takes his time to make it right. I highly recommend going to see Eduardo for your next haircut!

I’ve been going to Eduardo for a couple of years, and I love him! I’ve never received so many compliments about my hair. (Most of them are from him, but I’ll take what I can get.) Seriously, I can always count on Eduardo for a great haircut, solid advice about hair care or products, and lots of laughs.
Eduardo and Gina have built a top-​notch salon. It’s warm, inviting, down-​to-​earth, professional and clean. It’s full of people who enjoy their work and want to do their best for all the clients, from the atmosphere to the cuts and customer service.

While Eduardo is a nice man, and it is a nice salon, I would definately say don’t go there. I recently had a Yuko treatment, and later had a single process hair coloring done. $ 750 later, my hair had never looked worse. I have had Yuko regularly done in a salon on the East Coast, so I know how it is supposed to work. From previous Yuko treatments, my hair was smooth and silky and great to look at and nice to touch, even without blow drying. After Eduardo’s treatment, my hair is frizzy, harsh, and looks worse than if I had not had the treatment.. And I’m sorry, but $ 200 for a single process color and no cut– are you kidding?
Sorry Eduardo– you are a nice man, friendly salon, but I can only say, I will never be back! I fell totally ripped off, and just spent more money having a hair repair treatment to try to undo the damage done.

I would like to say that Kristina is terrible, so don’t go to her and take up all her time slots for the next 5 years, but I just can’t.
Kristina is the best. Her cuts and color leave me feeling like a supermodel. Her personality is friendly, relaxed, and non-​pretentious. It’s okay if you can’t come up with something interesting in your life to talk about, because there’s no pressure. She’s a perfectionist and won’t let you leave until your hair is perfect.
Have I mentioned that her cuts and color are astounding? Especially color. Really, just astounding.

Eduardo is amazing. I have been getting so many compliments on my chic new hair cut. Thank you Eduardo! :-) Coupled with his flair and talent with scissors is a wonderful funny conversation– the time just flies. What more could you want with a stylist?

I discovered Echos when I followed my previous stylist there after he left another salon.
I was struck by the casual, friendly atmosphere, no snobbery or phoniness, no «hair nazis»; just real people, talented and consistent stylists. Also mpressed by how long so many of the clients there have been working with the staff.
Eduardo, the co-​owner, is particularly good with color, knowledgeable about hair in general, loves what he does and communicates that to his clients. When my old stylist left to go elsewhere, I opted to work with Eduardo, and have been totally pleased ever since (that was at least 8 or 9 years ago). He’s also excellent with Yuko straightening (which I’ve been doing regularly for a number of years), and his fee for Yuko
treatments are nowhere near the bloated prices charged by many high-​overhead, high-​end salons here in the City.
I’ve gotten countless compliments and kudos about my hair since going to him, and love the way he creates the style and look I want.
The salon décor is unpretentious, but the talent there is solid.

Don’t quite understand the reference to «bogus reviews» from a previous
«reviewer”– there is only one other review shown, not the two cited– but from direct, long-​term experience, can recommend without reservation.

I’ve been a customer here for 10 years. I’ve tried all different lengths and colors and always left the salon feeling like one hot mama. Eduardo and Gina are the best. I’ve sent many friends to them and everyone comes out looking great.
(Tho not as great as me, right Eduardo?)

You never leave Echos without feeling a 110% fantastic about your self, you hair, and all the advice Eduardo and Gina send your way. I’ve enjoyed every hour I’ve spent here drinking tea, chatting, and receiving awesome haircuts.
