Awesome Reunion of Old School Music Friends!

Dark Sparkle was one of the preeminent Bay Area Gothic-​Industrial-​Dark Wave dance club of the 1990s and early 2000s. As often is the case, key people move on, and most recently, the siting venue that began the magic is no longer available.
And so a movement may hit a speed bump…
THE SETUP
…until that is the energy, the love, and the momentum STILL comes together to keep this wonderful «Musical Movement» alive!
And that’s just what happens when DJs Margo & Sage bring the «class» back together for these very special reunions! And it’s not as easy a task as you may think…
* Getting a workable venue is not always possible, but the good people at DNA Lounge (home to Death Guild, Hubba Hubba Review and Bootie) always welcome a kindred event, and now have more «venue rooms» to host such a special music DJ dance event, and this case we perfectly fit into the upstairs front dance venue.
* a la Blues Brothers, «Getting the Band back together again» is also not the easiest thing. But DJ Margo makes the trek from her home in NYC to join DJ Sage so that we are able to experience this incredible dynamic duo of Dark Wave DJ Magic!
A MOVEMENT STAYS ALIVE
Finally — let’s be honest — a «club movement» that had it’s heyday more than a decade ago would not seem to be something that people would keep alive — people move into realms of their lives (as parents, far away locations, etc.).
But SOMEHOW, in SOME WAY the energy of the «Dark Sparkle» movement is magically kept alive both by people who first experienced themselves, and then all the sweet wonderful newbies who were too young to experience it themselves, but like Disco or New Wave, enjoy helping to make it a «retro» experience for themselves, and share the passion for the first time with groups like:
* Depeche Mode
* The Cure
* Siouxsie & The Banshees
* Delerium
* Nick Cave
* Sisters of Mercy
* and many many more artists of bygone Dark Wave decades…
