This is a great place to get a quick breakfast when you’re on the way to work. They even have gluten-free crepes.

This is a health conscious crêpe! I love how the crêpe is of buckwheet, not just regular flour and it still tastes very soft and fluffy, I got the smoked Turkey Savory crêpe and it was pretty good. The bad thing is everything is sort of pre-made and ready, including the sauteed onion so they just put it in the microwave and dumped on the pre-made crêpe too. That means my crêpe is delicious but lukewarm in the center. Regardless, this is a quick bite option that is pretty reasonable and delicious!

My co-worker was tried of me complaining about how hungry I was during our meeting so he offered to buy me a crêpe to shut me up. Alright, I thought. He’s a regular at this place, so they literally load up the crepes here for him like it’s an all-you-can-eat buffet. So my salmon crêpe became my lunch, and I was filled up from the veggies and salmon they gave me. Taste was average, not spectacular, even with the chive like spread sauce. 3 stars. I wouldn’t have bought this on my own.

I never thought my drunk craving would be for a crêpe until I stumbled upon this stand. I love that the hours are something like 8am to 3pm on weekdays but then 8pm to 3am on weekends. I got one with chicken, caramelized onions, cheese, and mushrooms, the crêpe was a little soggy and the onions were more sautéed than caramelized, but it did its job. They do take credit cards.

I work in the building so their convenience takes precedence in my rating. I’ve come to be fairly well acquainted with the employees so much so that they often know what I’m going to order, substitutions included. I recommend this location to anyone in the FiDi! They do get extremely busy around lunch so it is a good idea to call ahead if possible.

Just had the Béchamel chicken crêpe and was so disappointed! So bland and lacking. I am giving this a single star only because the young man helping me was really friendly and pleasant. Will not return despite the convenience of working across the street.

Bad crepes bad selection of premade orders. They won’t let u create your own with the ingredients you want. They are not portable and are hard to eat.

Coffee is Great! But maybe I have unrealistic expectations for their crepes, which didn’t live up to the expectations.

I have really wanted to like this place since it’s convenient and I love crepes. Unfortunately some of these crepes are lacking in flavor even though the ingredients are bold and should go really well in theory. Also, they are served like an icecream«cone» which causes all of the ingredients to fall to the bottom and by the time you get there you’re full of tasteless crêpe bread. Since I’m not in love with the crepes I got a salad at one point(again, convenience is my downfall) — but even the salad was just so-so. Limp letuce, the chicken tasted like refrigerator and chunks of dressing. I hate paying an arm and a leg at Max’s yet I also don’t want to pay for mediocrity either. Looks like I’ll have to leave the building for lunch for now. Silver lining is that it’s sunny out these days so I don’t mind a bit.

Good Crepes on the Go, with friendly service and they use buckwheat the healthier version. No complaints here.

Saint Germain did such a wonderful job catering my office party. They not only provided sweet and savory crepes, but also an omelet bar, which was a total hit. My employees raved about the nutella and strawberry crêpe. It was the best-catered event that I have ever thrown for my office party.

I was having mad cravings for a crêpe after returning from 2 weeks in Asia. Since I was waking up in the super early am, I figured I’d grab a crêpe on my way into the office. I arrived at Montgomery BART station about 6ish. My Unilocal app tells me the Creperie Saint-Germain at the BofA building at 555 California was open. I go, but it’s not open. I wait a bit in hopes that it actually opens at 6:30, but no one was there at 6:25 so I Ieft. Their website says this location opens at 5:30. Not true. Turning again to my Unilocal app, the Creperie Germain at the Citi Corp building at One Sansome allegedly opens at 6:30. I start walking in that direction, and get to the Walgreens at Sansome and Bush, and slip in to grab some stuff I kinda need to give it a little time for them to open up and warm up those crêpe skillets. Then, I saunter over with hopes high that soon, so very soon, I’d have a delicious crêpe, only to be disappointed. It was about 6:45 and they also were not open, even though their website says this location opens at 6:30. Disappointed. If anything, they need to update their hours on their website.

Tired of the same ol’ downtown sandwich or burrito joint for lunch? Then I highly recommend visiting Crêperie Saint-Germain. It’s fast; it’s delicious; it’s relatively healthy(not-to-mention gluten-free); you can take it to-go; and it’s under 10 bucks. They have a few locations around town(Metreon, SOMA). I prefer to visit their 555 California St. location(in the Bank of America building) because it’s literally right in the heart of the city and walking distance to everywhere in the FiDi. Crêperie Saint-Germain offers both sweet and savory options. Personally, I’m more of a savory guy(especially for lunch). My two favorite crêpes are the one with Smoked Turkey, Cheddar, Caramelized Onion, Crème Fraîche, Sautéed Mushroom($ 9), and the Braised Beef, Avocado, Jalapeño, Swiss cheese, Tomato, Green Onion($ 9.50). When I bite in to one of these bad-boys, my taste buds scream«oh-la-la!» I have been lucky enough to taste a few of their Dessert crêpes. My favorite was the one with Nutella and banana. The one with strawberries, crème chantilly, and powdered sugar was also quite divine. But then again, I don’t think I could eat whole dessert crêpe by myself. It’s just too decadent and rich. BTW, these guys also cater(corporate and private events). They recently catered prom night for the daughter of a friend of mine. Apparently, the food was a huge hit with the kids(of all ages). In any case, keep Crêperie Saint-Germain in mind for your next lunch excursion. I can’t wait to get back there tout de suite!

In my opinion it was a bit pricey for what I got. I paid almost $ 10 for a crêpe that was cooked too long(too much of a crunch than I like, almost burnt). I got the glutten-free Smoked Turkey, Cheddar, Caramelized Onion, Crème Fraîche, Sautéed Mushroom, but asked for additional mushrooms instead of the turkey. It’s in a convenient location, inside the BoA building though.

Last time. Thrillseekers style: Saint-Germain style: An excellent build my own turkey, caramelized onions, spinach and parmesan crêpe. Tasted way more expensive than the $ 7.50 paid. Opener comes from this being my last visit to this crêpe chain. I’ve gone to them all. On to new things( ). Hope they open more. Perhaps there is one more to go…

Had to stop by BofA & thought hmm, a crêpe would be good right about now & the line is small so must be destiny Got 2 crepes: 3-Cheese & Strawberry Jam. I was only going to get the cheese crêpe but after I read their jams are homemade, that’s all it took! Plus, everyone knows I’m a now & later kind of girl so this was right up my alley Each crêpe was prepared as ordered & not sure if it’s always like this(as I imagine it’s not w/the huge stack of crepes I saw, on the back counter) but the fresh crêpe was greatly appreciated & well worth the wait! Flavor of the crêpe was very subtle & neutral & really allowed for the savory or sweet fillings to take the stage & this is a good thing! The 3-cheese had a TON of cheese. Lots of Emmental, nice Blue representation but only a smidge of Camembert(BOO!) Maybe less Emmental would be good next time? Regardless, there was a nice melty quality to the crêpe & good stringy pulls The Strawberry Jam crêpe was delish as well — at first I was thinking hey there Ms Jammy McStingypants, let’s put some more jam on that thing but I let the experts make their wares & as it heated & got all melty, there was the perfect amount that oozed & sweetened up that crêpe perfectly So would I go back? If making another BofA run, sure! Would I seek it out? Well, considering I work directly across the street, it wouldn’t be that hard to twist my arm

Figured I’d tried one of their crepes for breakfast the other day. I ordered the Crêpe Trois Fromages which translates, for those of you that missed 7th grade French, to 3 cheese crêpe, with the 3 chosen cheese being Emmental, Camembert, and Blue Cheese. The crêpe was quite tasty though I personally could have used a little bit more blue cheese, especially at $ 8 the crêpe which makes for a pretty pricey breakfast. Still, it’s good and tasty and close to my new gig, so I’m sure I’ll be back here a few times when I’m in the mood for a crêpe.
