This coffeehouse was great! The atmosphere and aesthetics of the place are really nice, the walls are decorated with interesting art pieces, and the windows allow for some casual people-watching. Seems like a really nice place to spend time with friends or bring some books and study. The muffin I ordered was really fresh with a good flavor. Overall a really nice place.

The coffee is great and the staff is very nice. I bought an espresso and a small black coffee and sat upstairs with my pregnant wife. The barista accidentally made two espressos and drank the extra one himself after I told him I only ordered one. Very nice. The espresso was super smooth and creamy with balanced acidity – NOBITTERNESS whatsoever – and the drip coffee is sweet and smooth with a little berry flavor. This is the place to enjoy snobby barista coffee in a very relaxed atmosphere.

Cute little coffee spot immediately adjacent to the Mission and 24thBART station. They serve Verve coffee — an amazing roaster out of Santa Cruz. Warm modern décor but few seats — just a few bar stools. My guess is that the layout will change over time to accommodate more seated customers but right now it’s configured for those getting on or off of BART. They’re open into the evening so they can catch you coming and going. Great business plan! By the way, Brian S. caught different staff than I did. Both of the gals behind the counter were super friendly and accommodating. Please ignore him :^)

I knew this coffee shop would be love at first sight because when I walked in, Biebs and TSwiftDizzle were playing over the speakers. Always love a coffee shop where they basically play my Pandora radio station so I don’t even need to pop in my own earbuds. I rocked out to «Sorry» playing all afternoon long while doing my work over their free WiFi(just ask for the password at the counter). Very hipster ambiance. Mini art gallery when you walk in and lots of rustic wooden features. They recently opened so they are still putting in some furniture, I think. Right now there is some ledge seating on the first floor and also a long bench upstairs(with no tables — I am guessing they will put in some tables up here) and also some more ledge seating. I ordered a soy gingerbread latte. They have some Torani syrups but I think they made this one in-house because it was not labeled. It was mighty tasty. The foam/steamed milk was done well but not the best latte I’ve had – wish there was some better latte art. But, it was definitely still better than a generic chain. I will be back for the friendly service, great tunes, yummy coffee, and work space.

The coffee here is ok, but this place is very sterile, the staff not very friendly, and the service slow. It’s very convenient to the 24th/Mission BART, but aside from that, there are better coffee places within a 10 minute walk.

I thought Blue Bottle was coming here. However, Verve rocks. We needed third wave coffee in this part of the mission. Nice minimalistic space and people working here. I think it could be a cool space to host a party too!

Great coffee! Especially the Ghirardelli White Chocolate Mocha! Staff is great! Mason and Kathy always put a smile on my face. And it’s literally right next to the 24th street Bart stop. Super convenient. Great addition to the neighborhood!

Time: 7:17am/55°F cloudy Purpose: On my way back from Neighborhood Bakehouse as I was picking up some pastries for the office. Ambiance: Place is relatively hidden out of view from main intersection of 24th/Mission St. From the outside a standing ad board with no sidewalk seating. Inside is a nine person counter seater with mostly slinky sling back chairs. Underneath counter are outlets for charging your gadgets AC/USB support. All seating facing street level of Bart station entrance/exit and nearby businesses. Theres a staircase to mezzanine level not sure if its in use or not. Décor is very hipster feel with chestnut color wood trimming/structure beam and off-white panel walls. Floor is polish cement painted and lacquer coated. Counter area with LaMarzocco espresso machine, grinder, scale, pour over set-up, pantry, mini fridge, blackboard menu, and pots of drip coffee. End of counter all self help utensil/condiment station. Wi-Fi name and password posted for public. Staff: Guy and girl both about early 30s was really outgoing telling me about their coffee. There wasn’t much for me to ask place only had coffee no breakfast goods or pastries seen. I proceed to ask what brew from Verve they’re offering? Guy name them of and I said just give Ethiopian please? At this time girl came over rung me up while I watch on as my pour was being done. Cleanliness: Grade A, immaculate and its expected since no other food item was being offer yet. All milk in thermo while sugar are never halfway empty. It’s just a clean café all around. Eats/Drinks: Pour over Ethiopian koba blend $ 3.75 acidity citrus and floral notes. Sweet tasting with medium tone. It was sure hard bean source coffee. Hard bean means elevation above sea level of 4200 feet. The Koba Soe nearly double it. I didn’t add anything to it, drink as black. Perfect choice for any time of day as flavor will pair with anything. Drying cup sitting in coffee holder produce a strong aroma that make you wanna stay in car. Main Features: Verve coffee beans Products/Services: Drink menu on posted picture. All drinks can be made iced, all prices with tax included, flavor shot $.50, extra espresso shot $ 1ea. No pastries yet however, reported to be work in progress, free Wi-Fi. Coffee by Verve, tea by Yaupon, takes plastic. Punch Lines: Seats are minimal, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, modest price, no pastries(soon), spacious, natural sunlight, street parking, Mission district, step from Bart, ample bike parking. Tradeoffs: You save about $.75¢ more here by getting same brand of coffee than that of downtown Fi-Di area. Final Thoughts: Its just another café offering premium coffee in the mission area. Nothing wrong with that just wish there were more offerings to pair it with. Other than that, its a casual place to hangout catch up on errands and meet up with a friend. Don’t be expecting a full tummy when you leave and you’ll be fine.

Really excited to see Coffee Mission open up in this corner spot by 24th St BART. I had a great macchiato — always a good test of a new coffee shop and their espresso. They definitely know what they’re doing with Verve beans and a new La Marzocco machine. Looking forward to coming back soon!

As a regular user of the 24th St BART station, I have been eyeing up the transformation over the past few weeks of a long unused corner into Coffee Mission! Today was their first official day of business and I’m happy to report they know their stuff. Two macchiatos for here later, I’m jittery with excitement for when they’ve finished their last tweaks, opened the upstairs seating area, and started serving pastries!
