Hell no for the price. Rather have beard papas. Cute but cream and texture of the pastry wasn’t a hit.

Overall it’s a great dessert shop! But since I am a poor student I value quantity as well as the quality of the food. The cream puffs are literally bite-​sized and I was a bit disappointed by how small they are and how quickly I devoured them. *tears*
Pros:
— everything just looks so CUTE. Probably because they are mini: the shop is mini (no seating area, and max of 6 people in the shop at a time), the cream puffs are mini (you can eat it in one bite), and even the decorations are super mini
— very friendly server who will try her hardest to persuade you to buy more than you think you can afford
— freshly baked pastry! You can see the bakers working hard behind the counter
Cons:
— pricey; $ 2.50 per bite-​sized cream puff can’t satisfy sweet tooth like mine
— flavor is average. I tried Sophie (with dark chocolate filling) and it didn’t taste too special to me. Maybe I should have tried another flavor that’s more unique (like lemon tart, or pistachio)
— no seating area so you will have to resist the urge of eating them right away (or shamelessly eat it on the street like we did)

I was very excited to try this neighborhood spot. Pulled up right in front and sent my kids in with some money. They returned shortly with a lovely packaged box of 6 choux — they opened the box to show me what they picked and noticed that the salesperson gave them the wrong flavors. They hopped back into the shop to tell them about the mistake. The counter servers admitted their error, but after some discussion, sent the kids away with the incorrect order, claiming there was nothing they could do because of sanitation issues. Hm. How about giving them the correct flavors and sending happy customers on their way? I guess at $ 2.50 a petit pop, they have to watch their waste, but this service was surprisingly small-​minded.
The choux themselves were tasty and well presented, but the experience left a bad taste in our mouths. Not going back.

We were gifted cream puffs at work on Wednesday, December 9^th from Choux Bakery. Wanting an afternoon sweet treat, I decided to try one.
There were only two left, so I randomly picked the Sunny: lemon curd and meringue. The puff was flaky and crispy while the filling was velvety and creamy with a subtle tartness. So good! I would have had another one, but these are so decadent, one was enough to fulfill my sweet craving. Plus, I didn’t want to be the greedy fat a$$ that ate two cream puffs!
I know a lot of people say the puffs are expensive, but since I didn’t pay for them, I’m judging purely on taste. And that was heavenly.

I’m French and these choux are amazingly good! Try the lemon and speculos one, delicious!

I thoroughly appreciate how subtly crisp the top of the baked, flaky pastry dough is. For their petite size, the amount of delicate custard filling is ideal. Each one is beautifully garnished symmetrically shaped, and prepared with high-​quality ingredients. Biting into one of these French cream puffs is… pure BLISS.
My favorite flavors:

Wonderful gift idea and they do catering for special events! Priced at $ 2.50 each, you’ll have to slowly enjoy each tiny bite.

I ordered a cupcake tower for my bridal shower from Choux Bakery. The cake topper and cupcake where gorgeous and tasted amazing. I received several complements on the cupcake tower! The service at Choux Bakery was incredible. They offer stand rental, which was extremely convenient. Folly was really helpful with regards to helping me select cupcake flavour and cake/​cupcake design. Thanks again for the incredible cupcake tower. I look forward to ordering again soon.

What a sweet delight! Seriously, if you haven’t tried Choux’s cream puff than you are missing out. I found this place while searching for cronuts and came across this sweet little boutique. FYI, this place is right next door to three twin sisters ice cream store– on FILLMORE & HAIGHT. With their latest creations, I had to try their pumpkin chai. [AS an EXTREME PUMPKIN LOVER] they surely nailed the flavors– the mini treat were fluffy, and airy that melts away in your mouth. I am truly a new fan of Choux.

So far my fave one is the ben (salted caramel). I also liked the Earl grey, chocooate marshmallow, cookies and cream and berries & cream.
There are about twelve flavors and usually none of them disappoint.
The packaging is cute.
Must go back to try their dipping puffs.

Bonjour~. Just like that it’s like you’ve walked into Paris. This tiny boutique houses the most wonderful little cream puffs ever. And when I say little — I mean itty bitty maybe 1.5 inches in diameter. But regardless these are the most delicious little cream puffs I’ve ever tasted. The perfect crunch as you bite through the shell, the slow ooze of the custard filling. Then the soft sigh of satisfaction after finishing that bite mm.
I was only able to try out two flavors as each one is 2.50 a bit steep for my taste. We asked for recommendations and ended up trying the salted caramel and hazelnut.
You. MUST. get the salted caramel. It is not an option. It was so delicious — I was amazed. After trying it the hazelnut just couldn’t live up to those expectations sigh~. But they were both wonderful.

This itty bitty little shop + it’s dainty little French cream puffs are about as adorable as your neighbor’s froofy little dog, as the cheeks of a baby, as group of waddling ducklings. And in case you haven’t seen their Instagram yet (
), it’s like something out of a magazine. So very Pintrest-​worthy. But I digress. The point is, this is the type of place you go to get a sweet treat for your girlfriend/​/​girl-​you-​wish-​would-​be-​your-​girlfriend/​mom/​grandma/​friend in the hospital/​birthday/​etc. These pretty little treats are unique gifts + definite crowd pleasers.
I first had the honor of tasting some of these bitty beauties when my office ordered a whole bunch of them for a colleague’s birthday
. One bite + it was gone… but I was hooked. And had to have another one. I made my first visit to the shop not even a week later to see the full selection of cream puffs for myself + ended up ordering a box of 6 to take home to share with my family
. I swear I initially just planned on just getting 2 – 3, but I couldn’t help it. There were just too many flavors that looked good. This trip resulted in getting a S’mores (seasonal!), Lemon Curd, Irish Coffee (seasonal!), Coffee Custard, Valhrona (seasonal!) Chocolate, + Salted Caramel. All were quite delectable, but the Salted Caramel + Irish Coffee were definitely the winners.
On a second visit, the first one to catch my eye was the Rum Custard. Who wouldn’t be intrigued by rum in a cream puff?!? The next obvious choice for me was getting the Salted Caramel again, + I ended up rounding out the box with a Mocha (seasonal!), Cookies n Cream + Hazelnut.
The Rum Custard unfortunately didn’t make it into the photo because it was devoured before I remembered to snap a pic. Oops. But trust me, it’s worth a try for being unique. As mentioned, they feature seasonal flavors based on holidays + often make the décor on top even prettier for these flavors, which again makes this even more of a gift-​worthy stop.
Priced at $ 2.50 a piece, these babies aren’t cheap, but neither is the presentation of the product. I’d rather spend $ 15 purchasing a prettily packaged box of pretty puffs from a local business than a generic box of Godiva any day. And if you’re looking for a cute date idea, take your significant other here + then trek a few blocks over to Alamo Square Park with a blanket in tow.

Choux (pronounced shoe) was such an amazing tiny pastry store. The décor is like stepping into Paris in her small space and the delicate cream puffs are not only gorgeous, but delicious.
I am a sucker for salted caramel so as I was waiting for my bus I stepped in and couldn’t resist. I had the Ben which was salted caramel, milk chocolate, and caramel custard. It was like a small explosion of greatness with the first bite, and the next. So creamy with the custard and the salted caramel was on point.
My highlight of my trip to The Haight for sure!

Choux Bakery is a cute little store. They had about 15 or so options of cream puffs all ranging from fruity flavors to chocolate and vanilla.
I ordered 6 for $ 15 and a chocolate chonut! Each cream puff was about $ 2.50, expensive little suckers. The Unilocal photos made them look a lot bigger. They are actually small and bite sized, like others said, about the size of a macaroon.
First, the cream puffs look beautiful. They kind of look like cupcakes from an aerial view and that’s what I thought they were when I saw photos of them initially. They taste pretty good, nothing mind blowing. The texture of the outer parts was a bit crunchy. The filling wasn’t too sweet and each cream puff had a different topping which gave the some of the cream puffs a nice crunch. We ordered the chocolate custard, green tea, rum custard, pistachio, salted caramel, and coffee. I think my favorite was green tea. I just love green tea everything though, so theres a bias.
The Chonut tasted like a Éclair, but with a crunch. It was pretty good.
Overall, I probably wouldn’t get my creampuff fix here for myself because I think it’s a bit too expensive for the size, but if you are buying for somebody else or for a special occasion then I think it’s worth it because they are pretty cream puffs.

After having lunch at Memphis Minnie’s down the block while waiting for my bus I found myself eyeing the sweets in the display at Choux. They mainly offer french cream puffs, which seem to be smaller and less messy than normal cream puffs. In addition they have something called Chouxnuts and a handful of meringue bags.
These desserts were enjoyable. The outside was a bit more bread like than flaky. I’m not sure if that’s what makes it a french cream puff but I think I prefer the flaky style. Either way, these were way too expensive to get again.
Overall, I wasn’t overly impressed with this place and even less so considering the exorbitant cost. Factoring that in I definitely have to say that «I’ve experienced better.»

Dropped by during lunch this afternoon. Cute store! Received a warm welcome from Laura (the owner) when I entered store. It is my first time here and she asked how I heard about the bakery and a few friendly conversation questions. She is so nice and friendly. I was somewhat in a hurry so I didn’t start any long conversation with her.
I decided to get one dozen Cream puffs, a few Chonut and Mini Meringues to share with family. Laura was so kind and explained to me the cream puff flavor of the one without a sign. She also told me they were making more DAVID (S’mores) and coming out shortly.
These cream puffs are amazing. Yes, it’s bite size and a little expensive but I think it’s worth the price (keep in mind, macarons are just similar in price). They have very cute name and design for each cream puff flavor. The creativity and of course the taste wins it all. I bought LEA (Matcha), DAVID (S’mores), SUNNY (Lemon Curd), PERRY (Hazelnut), PAUL (Vanilla), SOPHIE (Chocolate), EMILIE (Rum/​Caramel), RACHEL (Pistachio) and Ben (Salted Caramel).
Chonut is also great! I had the strawberry chonut. Again, very cute design and amazing strawberry filling. I love this better than cronut because these are baked to perfection. Cronuts from other bakeries are good but kind of oily.
Mini Meringues
Rose is my favorite. Perfection of sweetness and rose flavor.
Strawberry Basil also very delicious. I was surprised with the basil flavor mixed with strawberry. Very unique!
Choquette is like a no filling puff with sprinkled sugar. It’s quite good. These are so much better than donut holes.
Only street parking in this area. I was lucky to find parking nearby.
Would come again to try more cream puff flavors and other treats. Grab the seasonal flavors before it’s gone! I would suggest visiting their website or call them if you want to know their cream puff flavors and availability.

A tiny but lovely puff pastry shop beside Three Twins along Fillmore and Haight.
Their cream puffs are heavenly light with a wide selection of flavors. I can’t recall the names of the their tiny beauties but I’ve never been disappointed so far.

X did not quite mark the spot for me. Strangely enough, these bite-​size morsels reminded me of Honey Berry’s Roti buns. Now, Roti bun lovers, don’t get me wrong because I do love Roti buns, but if I wanted a Roti Bun I would have gone to Honey Boo-​boo.
I’m not sure if this is the true sense of a french cream puff, maybe, I’m used to the westernized version of a cream puff, however the size reminded me of a macaroon. Confused? me too. But this one did not make me «oooh la la» the way Pacific Puff does. I thought the variety of creams and «topping» were very cute. They were good but sadly not good enough to go back for $ 2.50 a pop. I even entertained the thought of these cuties being overly done due to the brownness and extra crispness of the choux but the entire batch looked that way so maybe that’s the way it’s supposed to be. I’m no baker for sure but I’m sure one tell of a taster.

Yummy! Best cream puffs I’ve ever had, for sure! They are small (2-​bite size) and make a great item to bring to a potluck or party, or even to give as a gift. I believe 6 puffs were about $ 13, and the box is super cute too. All the flavors I tried were good, and not too sweet, and not too creamy (I usually don’t like cream puffs because it’s like you’re just eating a dollop of whipped cream — not my cup of tea, personally). These little guys are nicely balanced in flavor and texture.
Bonus, we got a free sample of their cream-​less puffs so my sister was able to enjoy a lactose-​free treat as well!

Bakery!!! Cream puff! So so so yummy. Brand new bake shop specializing in adorable, beautiful, cream puffs that actually taste as good as they look. (I think we’ve all been there right? Where the deserts look great, but they are kind of disappointing in taste)
