Very reasonable pricing for all the items on the menu. Was recommended to come here by a friend who is a local in SF, since we were visiting from SoCal. Got to try my first Bulldog. I have to say that it is a very interesting spin on the margarita and was well worth the extra few dollars. We also got the supreme nachos, and the kitchen staff gave us extra because we stated that we were vegetarian. So instead of putting meat, they gave us extra nachos and a variety of different toppings/add ins. Next time we are in the area, we are definitely stopping by during Happy Hour. Was well worth the money spent.

I came here the other weekend on a Sunday afternoon with a huge party(about 30 – 35 people) to celebrate a CYO basketball championship win with the team. At first, we were told that the wait would be 1 – 1.5 hours. We actually were going to go somewhere else until an employee said that they’d be able to accommodate us then. We took the tables. I actually have a few complains from this visit… #1 = MYBIGGESTCOMPLAINT! To our waitress/waiter(Haley & Westyn… yes, I took down your names), way to NOT tell us about the WEEKEND special before ordering. After ordering, we came across this special: From Chevy’s website: TWOKIDSEATFREEEVERYWEEKEND For a limited time for kids 12 and under, Enjoy Two FREE Kids Meals with purchase of One adult entrée at regular price. Don’t forget your fresh doughball when you arrive and your fresh avocado pit when you leave! Promotion valid in the following locations: AZ, CA, IL, Greenbelt MD, NV, NY, OR, Arlington, VA and Vancouver, WA.( ) The adults were pretty upset that this was NOT brought to our attention. If you’re going to have a special(especially a limited one)…ADVERTISEIT&TELLYOURCUSTOMERS!!! I counted & we had 12 kids(no lie. TWELVE!) 11 and under. It would’ve been NICE&CONSIDERATE to be told about this offer. While it could’ve save the adults some money, the kids could’ve enjoyed a meal that they actually would’ve finished instead of ordering from the adult menu & not even finishing the food. #2 I was very surprised that the kids’ entrees(which consisted of a burger & fries) took the longest to come out. I was sitting in front of my niece(who is 4 years old) & she received her burger & fries LAST!!! I was pretty disturbed by that. First of all, everyone else already had their food. Second, it’s just a burger & fries. I’m pretty sure that it doesn’t take longer than the other entrees. Third, be considerate & give kids their orders… especially such a young girl. They’re lucky that she wasn’t screaming from starvation or else that’d be a different problem. #3 I ordered a 3-item entrée & got 3 chicken enchiladas. The last enchilada was SPOILED! You could just smell that it wasn’t good anymore. Definitely didn’t eat it. WAYTORUINMYAPPETITE! THREECOMPLAINTS from 1 visit?! Really?! Yeah, HORRIBLE visit to Chevy’s. What makes it even worse is that we were CELEBRATING A CHAMPIONSHIPGAME!!! If asked if I wanted to go to Chevy’s at Stonestown, I’ll definitely think twice about saying yes. «Eek! Methinks not.»

I typically wouldn’t come here on a normal basis, but Happy Hour here is great! I have a friend who attends SF State, so whenever I go visit him at his school, he takes me to Chevy’s for Happy Hour! Appetizers are half off and drinks are only 4 bucks! Their fruity margaritas are yummy. But their flautas are what attracts us here! Mmmmm, I love flautas(at Chevy’s, anyway)! They are so yummy and crispy and it comes with a jam-like sauce that goes really well with the flautas. Their chips and salsa are also really good. And I also really like their fajita nachos, with chicken AND steak! I’ve also tried their spicy wings, which are tasty, as well. I’m a big fan of Chevy’s Happy Hour! However, I hate the wait. It’s basically first-come first-served for Happy Hour. There’s a designated area just for the happy hour, and you basically have to be aggressive or someone else will take your table!

Ahhh, the mexi-cali Chevy’s. To be honest I only go here for happy hour and the three dollar margaritas. It’s the best thing a college student like myself can afford to eat that’s near campus. Flautas always hit the spot and the margaritas, despite it being overly strong on some occasions, does the job. Plus this location is great for holding fundraisers and they’ve partnered up with many of SF State’s organizations so a BIG thank you to them for all their support! Oh, and another thing. The chips and salsa are bomb. Order a margarita and enjoy this complementary bowl of pure yummyness for $ 4. You’re all set.
