I have ordered Chicken Tikka Masala for lunch and asked if it comes with bread or naan, they said if I order dinner menu it comes with rice and naan so i did and paid 14.75(too pricy) and it came with a dried chicken wrapped in a naan with no rice and no cream sauce! please make sure you check your order before you go back to the office or you will be highly disappointed!

While I must say, I am not so much a fan of Indian food, I will give this place 2 thumbs up. Why? The dosas here are quite tastey! I came here recently with my coworkers(who were all Indian), and they did the ordering. I mentioned to them that while I am not so much a fan of Indian cuisine, I am a fan of dosas! They ordered me a Masala Dosa. Think of a crêpe(made of lentils), stuffed with potatoes, with dipping sauces on the side. So simple, but great! Prices seemed reasonable, especially given the location. I saw a mixture of Indians and your SF tech workers there for lunch. I would come back again just to get my dosa fix.

For some reason the food is ten times better when you have food there. There take out is good but the food in my opinion is better when you have it there.

The chicken tikka masala is butter with a side of chicken just the way I like my chicken tikka! The paneer naan was also perfect. The vegetables, daals, and South Indian are not great and not worth the high prices especially because of the quantity of food you get. I will definitely go back for the chicken tikka and paneer naan.

Favorite dosa in the city(I love the Mysore masala dosa), awesome north Indian food(tadoori chicken dinner plus) ad even better service. I feel like a celebrity every time I go in. Everyone is so sweet and waits on my hand and foot.

If I could give a negative rating, I would. Not for the food, it’s just OK, not horrible. But for the delivery service? Yeah, it’s horrible. I’m not sure when the«new standard» of me having to come down and get the delivery at the door of the building came into effect. But the little trick of ringing my mobile and claiming they can’t find parking is becoming annoying. And the petulant attitude is enough to make me never order here again. Now, some of you may be asking«why it is so difficult to get to the door of the building?» But if you had a broken ankle you might find it difficult too. Especially trying to carry the delivery back up the stairs. Anyway, I’m giving the place one star because it is the lowest I can give. Oh, and to top things off, I gave the tip in advance as an option with the delivery service. And I gave a darn good one. Why? Because I knew the delivery guy would need to climb a few stairs. So, if you don’t have a broken ankle, or don’t mind heading down to your building’s main door, then order away.

For me, this is the best chaat place in SF. Its cheap, service is fast, and the place is open till late. Anything off of the chat menu is great. I’ve also tried a few curries and they were pretty good. Favorites: Pav Bhaji, Aloo Tikki Chaat, Dahi Batata Poori, Paneer Pakoda Also, give their Gobhi paratha a shot!

Chaat and tea are a must haves. The sev puri chaat was awesome. The chicken tandoori wrap lacked taste but was good. The paneer and Gobi paratha are filling and must haves

Amazing place. Open late(till midnight) and great value(2 can dine for $ 20). We ordered butter chicken dinner(comes with big serving of butter chicken, rice, naan, potato veggie curry and daal) + paani puri. We enjoyed everything that was ordered and felt stuffed in all the right ways ;) Will def be returning back here again. Also, kinda nice that even though we came here for a late night din, place was full and had a great vibe. Servers are friendly and food comes to your table super fast!

I’m not sure if there’s a relationship between Chaat Corner and Chaat Café in the Crocker Galleria – they have a lot of similar menu items and I’ve always had a good experience at Chaat Express. Tonight I ordered from Chaat Corner through Grubhub and was pretty disappointed. My order was more than 30 minutes late, arrived cold, wasn’t tracked on the website, when I called to check on the order status Chaat Corner wasn’t clear about what was going on, and despite instructions, I had to come outside to the driver’s car to collect me order. When I complained, they offered me a $ 3.99 credit for a lassi I ordered. The food was tasty, but it would have been a lot better if it were at least warm. –And a little communication and decent customer service would have gone a long way.

Came here for the first time ever. Service is fast and nice and I loved it. I had the chicken tikka masala wrap. Holy mother of God whatever bread they use is amazing. The wrap was juicy with lots of sauce which I like. It came with this cucumber side thing. They were a little salty but I was probably eating it wrong cause there were little side sauces so idk. I don’t get out much. 4 stars for great service and warm tastey food on a rainy day on a corner in downtown sf. :)

Inexpensive Indian food. Lots of seats inside. Beer and wine available. I chose mattar paneer($ 9.99) and garlic pesto naan($ 3.49) and enjoyed both very much. The garlic naan($ 2.49) was also good. I thought the naan portions were just right for eating with a single entrée. The chili paneer($ 9.99) was like a sweet and sour stir fry. My friends described it as «Indian Chinese food.» The spicy malai kofta($ 9.99) were not very spicy and a little dry on the inside. The tikka masala sauce was watery but tasty. Some of the dishes my friends ordered ended up tasting extremely similar, such as the paneer tikka masala, malai kofta, and butter paneer. Something to watch out for if you’re trying to order a bunch of stuff to share. They also offer dinner combos here. For $ 3.50 on top of the entrée price, you get plain naan, rice, vegetables, and daal to go with the entrée.

Best fast-food Indian that I’ve found in the city this far, hands down! And the naan!!! It’s the right combination of butter and fluff in all the right places. Perhaps the worst(and yet the best) thing about this place is that it’s located right next to my gym. So on an(unseasonably) cold night after hitting the gym double time, there’s nothing I would rather have than some Indian comfort food. Nice, creamy korma, daal, bastmati rice… the works!!! I have a couple go-to dishes here, namely, the tandoori salmon wrap and the vegetable korma. The tandoori salmon wrap is absolute deliciousness! The salmon is cooked to perfection, then drizzled in a cilantro-based sauce and wrapped inside a fluffy piece of naan bread. The vegetable korma can be purchased as an entrée or a platter(all the dinners can be purchased as an entrée or a platter). The latter is a better deal, because it comes with daal, rice and naan. The entrée is a bit cheaper, but only includes the korma. Likes: –open late night –fluffy, buttery naan –convenient to public transportation/parking garages –prompt and attentive customer service Dislikes: –this place is a buzz kill for diets and those with no self control… but delicious all the same!

Came here with my family on Christmas Day and we were all starving. We called ahead to let them know we are a group of 7 and by the time we reached they had the table ready! The staff is very nice and accommodating. The food was really good! But it took a while for it to come out. I had the butter chicken with naan and the butter chicken was amazing ! The place is not too big but not small either. It’s not a really a super classy place. Probably somewhere you’d want to come in and eat fast and get out or do a to go order. Over all it’s decent.

I’ve been coming here every weekend for a year now, but that’s suddenly set to change. Eating paneer pakoras 5 minutes ago, until my friend bites in to a shard of glass in the food. Great, I’m not sure we ordered a side of that. Ruins our weekend ritual, thanks chaat corner.

Nice spot for a quick lunch. The menu is a bit daunting, so I suggest going to the specials page. My to-go would be the Thali… it gives you a nice assortment of various dishes. I had the vegetarian Thali and I was very happy with it. On the last visit, my friend went for a wrap, that came with a side of cucumber salad… she said the latter is her favorite! The place is quite busy around lunch time, but if you get here around noon, you will get a seat easily. The service is swift, but don’t expect anything fancy… they want to feed you and send you off to work again ;-)

«Fast, casual Indian cuisine». I did not feel the warmth here upon entering, but we were hungry! Beware of the old menu insert! There is an old menu insert that has pricing discrepancies on it. Make sure you are looking at the newer menu! First of all, the dishes were tasty, but when it came time to for the bill a couple problems arose. We were charged the new menu price on one of the dishes and on another dish we were charged for extra naan bread, when the waiter made it seem like it was included with the dish. I love Indian food and rarely get it back where I live, so I was excited to eat it while in San Francisco. The restaurant was clean and employees were on top of things in terms of making sure we needed certain things. When I eat at another Indian restaurant in San Francisco, I think I will stick with 4-star or higher. I enjoyed my lamb dish very much though.

Ordered the lamb kebab. Quick service, friendly staff. Very affordable. Lamb came on a sizzling plate, cut up in to chunks, not actually on a kebab, FYI. Got rice, naan, curry dipping sauce, and cucumber salad. Large portions, so you are sure to be full from the Lamb Kebab meal. I really liked the cucumber salad, very refreshing. Naan was alright, curry was medicore. Lamb wasn’t too bad, just very chewy, awkward when you have to spit out the unchewable portions in front of people you just met. Would come back if people wanted to, but won’t necessarily suggest.
