I came to take a civil service exam for SF Gov. It is a bit difficult to get to on public transportation. If you drive and want to park, make sure you arrive early and you will find parking on surrounding streets. Don’t park in the parking lot out front. Leave your electronics at home or else you will have to lock them up in provided cubby holes.

this location is unfavorable for test takers in my opinion, but i think it would be worse lookin for parking in downtown versus here. nevertheless, parking here is still possible. you just have to be the early bird! those who cannot be bothered to take public transportation should look at porsche’s review.

Who knew that this place even existed!
I came here during a weekday morning as I was taken a testing exam for The City and County of San Francisco. I was told in the letter that driving was not recommending because of parking… Well let me tell you otherwise.
I woke up really early to make sure I had time to find park and arrived almost 2 hours early. So I had PLENTY of time to find parking. Please note, that you CAN NOT park in the parking lot as those parks are only for the Human Resources.
TIPS ON PARKING:
Don’t be fooled, there are places to park:
~On Caesar Chavez once you go under the 280 freeway you will be on cesar Chavez and Indiana, there are all days parks as well as 2 hour only parking.
~Along Caesar Chavez you are able to park all day as well (parking fills up quickly so arrive to give yourself time)
~If you go down Evans Street and turn on Marin Street there is tons of parking and you are able to park their for 12 hours!
~Napoleon Street has tons of parking as well and all day parking at that!
Moving on to the building, its VERY nice, inside and outside. I was surprised at how big it was. Mostly used for testing so the rooms are huge and spacious.
There is a Deli place at the far end of the lot so you have somewhere to go and eat or get a drink before or after the test.

Came here for a MUNI testing. There is no parking here at all and less than a block away is the projects. Taking the 48 Quintara here and the 19 Polk back, also becomes delayed because of all the trucks in the area.
The building itself is nice but disorganized.
