First visit… I was very disappointed with the bacon and eggs. Both the bacon and eggs were way too dry and overcooked. Unfortunately, also overpriced for the lack of quality. Overtime, in between visits, I discovered that the owner does not value its repeat customers. One day I walked in there requesting for change… asking if she had 5 $ 1 bills as I only had a $ 20 bill. The owner said right away she had no $ 1’s without even looking in her cash drawer. I then said, well if I buy this $ 1.50 snack(overpriced…as I could get a box of 6 of this snack for $ 3), and I gave you this $ 20 how would you give me my change? Only by purchasing this one thing was she willing to give me change. Not nice if I have purchased at this place on more than a few occasions. As for the snack… it was stale! I won’t be putting not one penny more in their pockets.

I had an appointment at Mission Center Building and needed to grab a quick lunch. Because I was too lazy to explore the area(and nothing Unilocal didn’t really show me any great, quick, cheap places nearby), I chose to eat at Carmelina’s Café. It is located right in front/lobby of the place and has a cafeteria vibe to it. They have breakfast bagels, sandwiches and coffee drinks. It’s nothing fancy, but I guess it works. I just had a grilled cheese sandwich, which was $ 2.75. This tasted/looked like something that I would make at home. It was fine. Because there aren’t that many other options around, they probably do decent business.
