One of my best friends is a patient here and a few years ago, I came here for something wrong with my teeth, but I had no insurance. However, the dentist here was so kind and I felt was a good caring dentist that she gave me a free checkup even though I offered to pay with whatever cash I could come up with. I eventually knew what was wrong, needed a root canal, and got it done with my regular dentist with the help of my family funding it. So with that nice gesture, fast forward to the present day, I got a job now, walked in today to try and use my dental insurance and had a horrible experience with the front desk old Chinese lady who appeared to be in her late 40’s to 50’s. First off, I walk in, look directly at her for at least 30 seconds and then had to do a «uh hmmm» with my throat to get her damn attention. The front desk lady said my delta dental insurance that she checked for me was not in California and that I needed to figure out what state it was part of. So I looked online for the company I worked for and it said Illinois, which I told the damn lady and I also told her to check it. But, she ignored me and carried on doing her thing. Then she goes and asks the Dentist, Dr. Cai, and Dr. Cai even tells her that the company I work for is Delta Dental in Illinois. So they tell me to sit down, and at least a few minutes go by and the front desk lady I see is not doing anything for me when I’m the only one in the waiting room. She started to listen to voicemails and return calls and after that, I straight up walked out and left in such a bad angered mode. Didn’t get to see the dentist, the front desk lady alone ruined my whole experience. Horrible customer service from the front desk lady!!!

Easy parking. I get my teeth cleaned here about every 6 months. Friendly staff. Highly recommended!

I first went to his office when I was a kid. I loved his daughter, Betty. She was nice and friendly and gentle. When I turned 18, they told me that I needed to have me wisdom teeth pulled and that her father was going to do it. I’ve heard awful stories about wisdom teeth, so I asked them if I was going to be knocked out, he said no. I kept asking for it, insisting that it was necessary, but he insisted that«it wasn’t going to hurt». BULL F***INGSH*T. On the day that I had to get them pulled, I came in quiet, trying not to think about how much it was going to hurt. He asked me if I was afraid and told me that it wasn’t going to hurt again. Liar. I knew he was lying, but I tried to hope for the best. I had at least 3 or 4 Novocaine shots, but I felt EVERYTHING. 45 minutes later, they’re still working on the same tooth. I can fee them still trying to crack it into little pieces. I’m crying(never cried at the dentist before or since then), and they tell me, «Oh, don’t cry, you’ll scare the other patients in the waiting room.» By the time he was done, I didn’t want him to touch me ever again. I glared at him and said, «Don’t touch me.» Guess what this asshole does? He puts his hand up to my cheeks, and says, «Oh, don’t touch me, don’t touch me,» like I’m 5 years old or something. If I weren’t such a damn pacifist, I would have knocked him out right then and there. Honestly, I wish I did. I really do. Every damn time I think about it. It took me FOUR damn weeks to open my mouth WIDER than half an inch. BOTTOMLINE: STAYAWAYFROMTHISGUY. The daughter’s nice, but not as nice as she used to be, so I refuse to go back.
