OMG! I was on vacation in SF and my boyfriend and I were walking by looking for coffee. So glad that we walked in to this place! I have been raving about the breakfast croissant and Mexican Banana spiced latte to my friends in LA. I was unable to figure out the name and I literally googled«Mexican Banana Spiced Latte San Francisco» and Walaaaa! LOL The banana latte was THEBESTLATTE I’VEEVERHADINMYLIFE! LOL I wish they had a location in LA :-( My boyfriend had the Lox bagel which was pretty amazing too. The service was so pleasant.

THEYDONOTUSEGLOVESWHENMAKINGTHEFOOD! I made a comment to the man fingering my egg and cheese and he snapped back his hands are clean. REALLY? Skip this place !! The probably wouldn’t even pass a nyc health inspection– with all the drug addicts and hookers around this place has embodied the stank of the locals.

The resturant wasn’t too busy so I was helped immediately. There was open tables, with places for a computer or phone charger. I ordered waffles, potatoes and bacon for 12 $. It came with coffee and an orange juice. I was a little disappointed when I saw it was only a half waffle, the size of the orange juice was a shot glass and potatoes were a little cold. None the less, the food was great, good price and coffee was French roast. The food only took 5 minutes to make and after I was done, they picked up my dishes from the table. The worker was polite. The had the TV on the news and the volume was loud enough for everyone to hear. A great plus for me since I arrive at 9:30am. All and all. I would come again, just expect the portions to be on the smaller size.

I visited this café twice, while staying at the hotel across the street. I loved the coffee and loved the breakfast sandwiches even more. For me, it’s slightly over-priced, but it was worth it since it was so delicious! The convenience of it being so close, was also what made it perfect. If I go back to San Fransisco, I would visit again.

What a pleasant surprise! This place is so much more than you would expect for a more or less hole in the wall place. Their lox sandwich is TODIEFOR, so many layers of delicious flavor that blend together so nicely. Great service and suggestions too. OH also the prices are very fair, especially for San Francisco. Highly recommend :)

Loved this place! Super friendly employees who had great recommendations. Smoked salmon(I was told they make in house) was delicious. Place is clean. Reasonable(for the city) prices.

Nice spot for breakfast, catching up on the news and getting some work done. You can order and pay through grub hub and if your order is over $ 30 they’ll deliver. It’s not too noisy here. Every once in a while you may hear a motorcycle speed by or cars honking in traffic. I gave this place a 3 because I paid around $ 10 for a breakfast combo that comes with an orange juice but realized after I paid that the OJ comes in a sauce container. I ordered a fruit salad and the fruit wasn’t as fresh. See pics. Also, the service was mediocre. The guy working seemed to be working alone and it got a little busy. I’ll give him he benefit of the doubt. They do have wifi but it was spotty when I visited. I’d come back.

Would like it give this restaurant a fare rating but could barley get in the door to check it out. Had read other reviews about the restaurant closing early but felt since it was Sunday they gotta be open. Walked in on a Sunday morning, 10:30am, and was quickly told that they were closed by a rude worker. There were other people in the restaurant and some were waiting to pay. Don’t understand it and not going to try.

Best Lox Bagel in the city! Hands down! Must try! I’ve been coming here for years and really got to know the staff. They are truly hardworking people with a bit of wit and a whole lot of dedication to making your morning better. Can’t live without them.

If a $ 3 yogurt served in a salad dressing sized little container is your idea of a good breakfast, then this is the place for you! I ordered a «yogurt with probiotics» which to me sounded like it might have some kind of fruit or something added to it. Nope. It was Activia. And the serving portion was even less than what comes in your standard Activia cups you can buy at the grocery store. I felt robbed. I have been working in the city for 3 years and have come to expect higher-than-average pricing for food, but this was a complete joke to me. When they called out my order and I saw it sitting on the counter, I waited for the rest of it for a minute. The only reason I didn’t say anything is that it was too early to argue and I didn’t want to be late to work.

I usually come here for sandwiches and waffles. Everything is made to order. All food items are a bit on the pricier side, but that’s normal as most small businesses are like this. They used to be open a hour or so later but they close at around 2:30 now. The people working here are super friendly and nice. I remember somebody there gave me a couple bags of chips on the house because they were about to expire soon. The five star machine was not working when I was there today. May need to get that fixed.

I moved into the area a month ago and stumbled upon this place one Sunday morning. Their salmon and cream cheese bagel sandwich was excellent and their coffee was great. Wow, I thought. I’ll definitely go again. I’ve been trying to go for the past three Sundays without success. Their sign clearly states they close at 2:30PM. I went at 2 two Sundays ago, 1:30 last Sunday, and they seem to have closed early both times. Today? I got there at noon, there was a sign on their door saying they’re closed for the day. I’m done trying to make this place fit into my schedule. It seems they operate on some secret schedule of their own.

As far as breakfast, on a Tuesday morning at 7 am the own quickly let me know it’s a limited menu. Basically it breakfast sandwich only. If you want a more traditional breakfasts you’ll have to go elsewhere. The coffee is pretty good.

Hongha gets an extra star for being an engaged and courteous owner. Honestly, my review was skewed downward due to the annoyance of the Five Star promotional program sending me unsolicited text messages. In response to her question, I’ve had the Moda Lox bagel and the bacon egg and cheese, along with the Cuban panini — all on separate occasions, of course. Again, it’s a decent place — clean, polite staff, good food, but not terribly unique, though it might be worth mentioning that if you’re trying a case before the U.S. District Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit or doing business with the U.S. Government on 7th and Mission, this may very well be your BESTCHOICE for a reasonably priced meal in the neighborhood. I’ll come in again, Hongha, and see if I can find that«go to order» on your menu that keeps me coming back over and over again and wins you that fifth star.

Great place to stop by for a breakfast bite if you are hungry and nearby. Wouldn’t travel across town for it but would definite be a regular visitor if nearby.

I love when a business owner takes time out to read reviews and takes everything in good stride. Appreciate it. I will definitely be back.

Ate lunch here between NERT training at the Federal Buildung. I am pescetarian and lactose intolerant, so I ordered a Noda Lox bagel without cream cheese. The salmon tasted very fresh, the onion bagel wash crisp on the outside and soft in the middle, and it was typed with a little onion and capers; wedge of lemon on the side. I was very happy to have just few, small slices of onion– many places way over do the onion. Also got an iced americano, which was a fine cup of coffee. Overall, I am very pleased — we even got a free cookie for spending over $ 8.50! Can’t give 5 — stars as I have only visited once. 5 if they can do it awesome twice… :)

I have to say this place was a big disappointment. I would NEVER go back to this place. Customer service is really bad. The cashier did not understand what I was asking. She had to turn the monitor to show me she couldn’t place the order we were asking for. I asked for a bag and the staff had no clue where they were. The price of the food is RIDICULOUS. We payed $ 30 for 4 eggs, 2 bagels, 2 sausage links, 2 strips of bacon, hot pot roast dip, and 2 orange juice that was in a Jell-O shot cup. The food is a JOKE. The eggs were not even cooked the way we ordered, bagels need to be toasted longer, sausage links were plain, bacon strips are to thin, hot pot roast dip couldn’t even taste the meat cause there was hardly any meat and the orange juice was the only decent item.

Their«deluxe breakfast» is a joke; my orange juice was in a plastic container you would get a jello shot in, about 4 bites of egg, super thin bacon and the sausage was questionable… all that and it was delivered COLD. They also forgot my extra bacon they charged me $ 5.50 for and the chips that«came with my sandwich» cost me an extra $ 1.95 and they didn’t even bring them. This place is a joke. Basically I paid $ 42 for: –a sandwich, no chips –a shot of oj –4 bites of eggs –2 super thin pieces of bacon –2 questionable tasting sausage links –a Gatorade Biggest waste of money EVER!

I just spent $ 14 for the single worst breakfast of my life. The Belgian waffle looks like it was made by eggos, the ham was literally a slice of cold cut ham, the food was cold and tasteless. I feel like it should have come with a cigarette because this placed just violated me. And the orange juice was okay, but was served in a thimble.
