Pretty decent little store off Haight. Nothing too special about it. They use fresh ingredients for the juices and smoothies. A little pricey, but good for a nice sunny day in the city.

Had a veggie burger and thought it was awesome. Other reviewers complain about the service. I didn’t think it was either bad or very good. Girls at the counter seemed rushed and preoccupied, but got the job done. I did have to ask for a cup of ice several times, but on the other hand, they did make that great sandwich.

Awesome fresh food and juices. Avogobble on rye, dijon mustard, with a large fresh Juniper juice. So good! $ 15.78 before tip. Yes tip! Friendly, hard working staff, casual, no frills, healthy food. Next time I might skip the juice to accommodate my budget. I’ll be back for sure. Wish there were more seats outside, it’s in the shade and right off Haight. Good people watching. Enjoy!

Came here just for their smoothies I was looking for a local version of Jamba Juice. Came at 5:00pm and the worker said«Sorry no more smoothies, I just cleaned the machine» well you lost out on 4 sales. Best of luck with your failing business I will not be back

Well the place looked inviting but myself and 3 others promptly had to walk out since the woman behind the counter said«no juice I just cleaned it». It’s a blender, your customers should come first not your closing duties. They were open for another hour… Probably won’t be return here.

This place is soooo tiny. It’s tucked away, and might be kinda hard to find an outlet at, but practically EVERY café in SF is full, so it’s a nice find if you don’t need to charge up. The service was friendly, and they have a selection of many typical baked goods and café treats available. I managed to get a table with my friend so we could focus and get some work done… Just a side note though, they have wheatgrass shots available that they blend right there. My friend got one, buuuut I think it was overpriced for the tiny cup it was in, and I don’t think she was thrilled with the taste, so maybe opt for normal coffee and juice, y’all…

Only came here because my son’s name is Cole & he was excited about it & wanted to check it out. One of the workers needs to take a day off, or maybe a month, or maybe work where she doesn’t deal with the public. Was having a great day until going to this café. Extremely rude service, just one person, her Co-worker apologized several times for her extremely negative energy. Never going back, they’re ridiculously overpriced too.

It’s a pleasant little spot that I ate at often when I went to school nearby. I always got the vegan avocado sandwich. I don’t know if that was the only vegan sandwich they had, but it was good enough that I never felt like deviating from it.

service: looks somewhere between blank-faces and irritated. rude unless you’re donning yuppie/tourist attire. Otherwise expect to be talked to like you’re off the streets. Drink selection: mediocre Music selection: «frat» indie

Super chill vibe. Killer sandwiches. On point Thai iced tea. Ask Abe what to get, he’s trying to spice up the menu, so he might have something new that he needs an opinion on. If you’re around the haight, go check out cole café, you won’t be disappointed.

Tried the avogable sandwich and it is the best best best i ever had, it’s just out of this world. Customer service was amazing too, the staff is very friendly and super nice. I sure will be returning every time I’m close by. I highly recommend this place.

This is one of my favorite places to get breakfast or lunch in SF. Great service. Great food. A must-go. I think the place is family owned… so you can really tell the amount of care that goes into everything. A great example of why small businesses are better!

Many healthy options, delicious drinks AND they actually open as advertised at 6:30am, which is apparently a miracle here in SF. I will always patronize this local business.

Stopped by for some food and coffee. First off, sandwiches were great, no complaints there. I appreciate that they have wheat grass too. Everything else kinda sucked. Chick who took our order had a snappy attitude. On top of that she got our coffee orders wrong, knew it and didn’t fix it. Wasn’t until I left that I realized my lady and my cappuccino and dirty chai were just two watery chai lattes. Threw them out halfway through. Funny enough, their Square credit card app only has 15, 20 and 25% tip options(I know you can opt out) when they ironically don’t seem to care about their service. Sounds like I had a similar experience to another customer on here. Doesn’t seem his review made any difference.

Small little place with some outdoor seating for enjoying the Haight atmosphere. It doesn’t get nearly any foot traffic in front, as it’s just down a side street from the main thoroughfare. Interior is just what you’d expect in this neighborhood — nice chalkboard menus, a wide variety of baked goods and coffee drinks, as well as fresh juices and fresh pressed wheatgrass juice. I ordered a café au lait, and a dark chocolate and nut biscotti. Café au lait was made correctly — nothing to complain about. Biscotti was pretty good(really no way to measure freshness on biscotti… it’s rock hard from the start). The ordering line was confusing as there are 2 doors to enter from — I learned from a regular that this was an ongoing problem. They should probably fix that. Or, don’t, as it gets people to talk to each other. Maybe that’s why they haven’t fixed it. Overall average experience, I’d try elsewhere before returning. The people watching is tough as I mentioned, and nothing really stood out. I’ll revise if I come back and order something different.

Came here for a parfait today, and it was alright. Not really customizable and actually didn’t taste too healthy. I wish they had acai bowls here. That’d be the best. It’s a very small café FYI.

Let the uninformed tourists ravage this place and do yourself a favor — STAYAWAY! We decided to make a stop on our way up to Cole Vally to go plant shopping. I got a dirty chai, and my girlfriend got a hazlenut latte. We each had a sip of our drinks and then promptly tossed them in the trash and moved on. To start — the service was very poor. The girl who made our drinks was rude and very hasty. She did not like that I asked if their chai was«Sweet or Spicy» — she just responded«it’s both» with plenty of ‘tude — then when asked if I could get a hazelnut latte she simply pointed to the bottle of shitty syrup they had on the shelf. Seems like it would have been easier to smile and say«yes» — but I’m not the one who hates their job dealing with tourists all day. We got our drinks quickly. The latte was suffering of a syrup overdose, and my dirty chai tasted like watery chai tea with some added steamed milk — didn’t even taste the espresso. There are too many good coffee shops in the area to waste your time and money here. Head over to Stanza, Flywheel, or one block up to Cole Valley Café.

Stopped in here to fill a picnic basket on our way to the lawns outside the Conservatory of Flowers, and I really enjoyed the food and it made a great picnic fare. We got a couple of sandwiches, a hot spinach pie and drinks, and while all the food was really tasty, the staff seemed pretty annoyed that we didn’t know what we wanted the second we got to the counter. There wasn’t a queue of people behind us, nor had we been waiting ages and had lots of time to chose. There wasn’t anyone else in the café, yet our 34 seconds of indecision seemed to illicit annoyance. As I say the food was very tasty, but I’d hate to be there when it’s busy.

I got a sandwich to go from here today. I wanted a chicken sandwich protein style which wasn’t on their menu but they accommodated me, and it was delicious! I found it while shopping at the Goodwill across the street with my hipster daughter(but don’t DARE ever call her that!). Goodwill told me it had a bathroom, which it does, but it is for customers only. No problem, you can just buy a bottle of water and be good to go. Looked like they had yummy smoothies and coffee drinks. Cute place with a few tables outside also.

Outdoor seating near haight ashbury… coffee was good, cookie was OK, all around just a decent but not great coffee shop that lends itself to convenience more than it excels in any way.

I love this place! Mostly for the patio and really nice staff. There are pastries, coffee, tea, smoothies, sandwiches, a pre-made selection of doughy foods with savory insides. It’s small, but the doors are always open.

Decent sandwiches and smoothies. It’s a very small place, and the line seems to wrap around inside and out the door on a good day, but it’s probably worth the wait if you’re in the mood for a good sandwich or smoothie. Staff was either very friendly or short, depending on the employee. Decent prices for the area.

Café Cole is small yet carries all the essentials: smoothies, expresso, sammies, teas, pastriess, etc. seating outside too. brew:(m. coffee 2) roast brand: –smooth, silky like, not robust 3.5 stars drips: –may be 4 stars for motto to serve patrons up to the closing time (yep. it’s posted on the wall).

We had time to burn and found ourseleves in the Haight and Ashbury district. Being a nice Sunday evening strolling the Haight, I had a Coffee Jonesing. After I had bought a sweet coat at a Thrift store, a lady recommended this place because 1) the Coffee was good, and 2) Wifey needed to use a public restroom. The ladies who work here are nice and the Coffee drinks were what you expect from a small café. I had ordered a Mocha and Wifey had a reg. coffee. There was a highly caffeinated coffee and I think the lady mistakenly gave it to her. It was like a jolt of Caffeine and Wifey was wired after the shot. The pastries looked very tempting and I will definitely try out if I’m in the neighborhood again. Bathroom was clean but had some very unique graffiti written in it.
