The last time I wanted to stop at this Burger King was sometime ago back in 2013. As soon as I was about to go that way, a very weird guy in a bike whose a bit over — weight had started following me. I didn’t even see nobody behind me at first, then from out of nowhere I looked and boom! There he was, on a bike following right behind me, in broad daylight. I was like — WTF?! I had to ask him, «why are you following me?» He said nothing. I repeat the question again and that’s when he had said, «I wanna know you.» That really creeped me the fudge out. For real. It’s one thing to stalk a person from a far FAR distance but it is another thing to be going up close to someone you barely even know for like 10 secs. WTF! Now every time I make a stop to this ghetto side of the town. I will gladly keep my distance from this Burger King thanks to all the creeps that will walk too close behind you. You just never know when you’re going to be at risk of being followed by some weirdo on a bike or not. Stay the fudge away!

So sad. They forgot my fries and a drink and overcharged me. I realize it’s almost 11:00 at night but come on Burger King where are my f’ing fries. Very disappointed drunk people in my car, and no I’m not going back. You all are so disappointing. Get it together, you are in San Francisco, the least you can do is get the order correct, I won’t even talk about the disease ridden food Burger King sells.

Out of all the Burger King’s this has to be the worst one slow service incompetent cashier got our order wrong and made it sound like it was our fault the manager was just sitting there laughing I highly recommend that you avoid this restaurant

Well I went through the drive through last night I ordered some whopper and some chicken nuggets and the manager that was taking the order started to get mad just when I was asking my kids what they wanted to eat, and when I finish she told me the price 27 almost 30 $ I when to pay I see a monster energy drink on the ice that she was serving to the drinks I told her that, that can make me go to the doctor of seek well I’m not going no more to that Burger King any more.

I ordered and ate a Big King burger from here last Thursday afternoon. Today is Sunday and I am still sick from food poisoning — this is good example of how much the chain is saving by selling dodgy meat. I use to love Burger King — I will never eat there ever again.

Risky neighbourhood. A lot of homeless ppl asking for money or cig. Drive thru might be safer. Food doesnt taste fresh either. Wont be coming back again.

Wow! Sometimes you just end up in a place where you can see the likelihood of you getting hurt has increased exponentially. This is that place. Keep your head up and your eyes open. Don’t bring children here least they be exposed to the evil underbelly of the SCO. The food quality and service are par the corse for inner city grade school dropouts that don’t speak the English. 4 piece chicken nugget $ 1.49÷30 minute wait.

This Burger King location is much preferable to visit than the one on Broadway &13th. There’s a public restroom, wifi, state of the art drink dispenser with a large variation of drinks, drive-thru, delivery. The atmosphere is basically like any other Burger King lobby except somehow it feels less antagonistic than the Broadway location. There’s a good Vietnamese restaurant right across the street that gives Burger King a run for it’s money.

Avoid this Burger King. I’ve only been here a few times when there is no other alternative and every time I’ve been accosted by drug addicts demanding money, often hanging out right by the drive thru pickup window. I will go anywhere else to eat, even a late night visit to the Carl’s Jr. near Market St and 7th Street feels safer.

I must say, Burger King is in a sad state these days. Since this location is so close to my domicile, I thought I would give BK another chance. One of these stars is for customer service. The meal itself was horrid. I’m no food snob: I quite enjoy a fine dining experience at McDonald’s or Taco Bell. Here’s a breakdown of my meal at BK: Chicken nuggets: bad imitation of McDonald’s, whose chicken nuggets I am not particularly fond of in the first place. French fries: I like Burger King French fries since they are crispy, but these were pretty stale. Cinnabon: very stale, could only eat inner core. Unsatisfying. I will not be returning.

Really deserves a –2 star. Mold in the fountain drink dispenser… Probably why people complain about funny tasting soda. Trash all over the counters. Condiments hardened onto the tables, and the food was rather scary knowing that simple things aren’t being taken care of. Good luck to all travelers passing through.

Got a BK coupon deal of 2 whoppers, 2 reg fries, 2 drinks. Went @ noon. During ordering time, request to have 2 reg fries switch to 1 fries and 1 onion ring. Of course, according to the coupon, was declined. Not a problem there. But during food pickup, the crew were very attentive and honored my request. Service was fast and efficient. I’m one happy customer. Wish they’ve ‘Root Beer’ as well.

The Chicken Parmesan Sandwich combo is one of the best combinations I’ve had. This definitely hits the spot for those on the go and in need of something for a quick grub. Overall, efficient services and friendly staff members. 6÷5÷2014: Hands down for being one of the restaurants featuring milkshakes on the menu. If you want something as a substitute to soda, milkshake is one of the best options on the menu. Came in at around 2:00 pm today and was feeling the need to get something to munch on. I ordered the a medium satisfries and a medium vanilla milkshake — I enjoyed my meal. Friendly staff members, good food and service.

I have lived across the street from this restaurant for the past two years, and have frequented it often. The food is always so-so, and is prepared properly about half the time. The staff is friendly… though certain ones have their issues(don’t we all). In spite all of this, we would go there anyway… I mean, hey, it’s just Burger King, right? You can only expect so much. My partner and I rushed out of the house to catch breakfast at this location one morning, and we were greeted by the lunch menu at 10:19(breakfast is to be served until 10:30). No surprise… I mean it’s the Burger King on Howard… it’s got a reputation. So we asked the staff«What time do you stop serving breakfast?». The cashier looked up and replied«10:30». My partner and I just looked at each other and back at the cashier, and said«it’s 10:19». The cashier then tells us that his computer is 9 minutes fast. We look at each other again, and say«well that would make it 10:28». Anyhow, this got us nowhere. The offered us the one dried up sausage patty and something else, to which we refused. We then got the manager’s number, and called him as we were walking to the next location, or somewhere to find a biscuit of some type. Whatever… no big whoop, it’s the burger king on howard, right? The number that was provided was indeed for management. He’s the manager of the store and the burger king at that location. I explained that I was calling to inquire as to what time they stopped serving breakfast, and why there location wasn’t serving breakfast until 10:30. I was immediately asked if I had called earlier(evidently someone else had called regarding the same issue). He explained that they do serve breakfast until 10:30. I asked him then why we were not served. If I typed the entire conversation, you would fall asleep before reaching the end, if you haven’t already. We went around in circles. Him loudly proclaiming that they do offer breakfast until 10:30, and me saying that he doesn’t, and how can he advertise a full breakfast menu until that time, when we arrived at 10:19. Mind you, it is now 10:24, and he’s SCREAMING into my ear that his dried up sausage pattie evidently is BK breakfast. I do admit I chuckled a bit. I couldn’t help it… I couldn’t even get one thought out before he was talking over me. «WHYAREYOULAUGHINGATME, WHYAREYOULAUGHINGATME, WHYAREYOULAUGHINGATME». Me= «Because I can’t talk to you, I can’t even complete a sen…». Him= «I’M TALKINGNOW, I’M TALKINGNOW, WHYAREYOULAUGHINGATME, WHYAREYOULAUGHINGATME, YOUTALKING S&*(*T, YOUTALKING S#$T»…*silence*…me= «So, back to the breakfast menu, you don’t serve breakfast until 10:30?». CLICK… it seems that our friendly local Burger King Manager decided to end our conversation there. When we arrived at the Burger King on Market and 8th, it was around 10:27. There was a full breakfast menu on the board, go figure! While were in line, the menu changed. No big whoop! We asked them what they had left over, and we both had tasty biscuits to start our day. Even if they had not had anything, we weren’t upset about it, cause at least they followed protocol. We did, however, ask for the regional manager’s number(this BK is the same owner… but, in my experience, has always been… well…‘better’. Food’s hotter, fresher, they are never ‘out of that’, and they are very friendly). It’s a fax number… so here we are… on Unilocal!:) Any employees reading this? Sorry if we were rude… we didn’t realize what you had to deal with!

I often frequent the Starbucks next door when I’m in SOMA, but starving late at night(before having to drive back to Sacramento) I chose this BK. Granted I eat fast food maybe once every 2 months if that! This has to be one of the most ghetoo, dirty, unappealing locations in the city. All the people begging as one goes inside and out(plus INSIDE the actual restaurant) make it undesirable. I ordered a traditional Whopper, fries, and Diet Coke. I waited a good 10 mins. What did I find? A COLD hamburger, making me seriously consider returning to the store, let alone the risk of E. coli!; plus the soda had a «funky» taste.(At least the fries were good). Why is the quality of this food so marginal and unpredictable? Never again will I ever consider this place. NO bueno BK, no bueno.

Bought their new premium chicken parmesan sandwich. It was pipping hot. Hot enough that it burned my tounge. It wasn’t that good considering it’s a «premium» sandwhich. Wished I ordered a Whopper with cheese/avocado instead . Anyway, I am never disappointed with this place. Drive through is fast and never that busy. Major points for consistancy. Having the gas station, starbucks, and car wash in the same lot is convenient. The only qualm I have is that the parking lot is very small. But I always manage to find a place to park and eat somehow.

Two months ago as a treat for my little boy, I made the mistake of going through the drive-through at Burger King to get him a strawberry smoothie. Now, I can’t get home from SOMA without a non-stop barrage of «I want to go to Burger King, I want to go to Burger King, I want to go to Burger King.» Oh sigh. It’s just easier to relent. And honestly, I did cave and get their breakfast sandwich and it was tasty but with an over-the-top amount of scrambled eggs, it’s just too much– it looks like 4 eggs! [I removed half and they made a sickening«thud» when they hit the bottom of the bag] And, the only time I’ve been truly rude to a homeless person was at this Burger King where they stake out by the drive-in window. One panhandler was so aggressive, I went into protective mode and shouted that I had a child in the car and to back off — now! I have to add that their counter staff is really nice, always solicitous of my 4 year-old little ham(the last drive through he insisted he wanted a coffee).

First off, I’m not sure why you are reading this… yes I’m talking to YOU! Who goes on Unilocal and looks up a review for Burger King before they go to one? Friend: «Hey, you wanna go to Burger King and grab a Chicken sandwich?» You: «Yeah, I’m down! Which one you wanna go to?» Friend: «How about the one at the gas station on 9th and Howard!» You: «Aight, let me check what their ratings are on Unilocal first. This place better have at least 1.5 stars or I ain’t going…» Friend: «Aight, look that shiz up yo.» Anyways, I work right around the corner so I go here about 1 – 5 days a week. This place is pretty damn good as far as Burger King goes. The service is quick, and the staff is friendly. I actually give the staff huge credit for providing the amiable service that they do, given the fact that they have to put up with crazy druggies and crack fiends daily. I really like this place and will continue to come back often every week. So, I know what you are wondering, «If I love this place so much, why 4 and not 5 stars?» Well let me tell you! And please read at your own discretion… The only reason why I took away one star is because I witnessed a homeless dude getting a blow job right in front of the place today(May 21, 2012). This is 100% true, and I would never make up such a thing. This is actually what prompted me to write this review in the first place. Anyways, I feel like that deserves 1 star being taken away, but if that kind of thing does not reduce your appetite then please consider this a 5 star establishment.
