Just the part about getting on the plane ahead of the hoards was great, but then there’s the lounge part. It gets crowded, something the size of a 380 can do that. So there’s that… the food and drink are good, the place is kept pretty clean by staff, and staff can be helpful. So cool your jets, your jet’s gonna be ready for you. Best attitude always wins! Enjoy!

Decent lounge experience compared to domestic airline lounges. Food offerings consist of pre-wrapped sandwiches and snacks, plus there are self-serve stations with an array of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. Lots of domestic and foreign newspapers available for free too. That having been said, the food and booze is nothing special, plus the lounge can get jam-packed because it’s rather tiny and can barely accommodate all the first and business passengers on one jumbo jet alone. I hate to sound like such a spoiled first-world resident, but the experience here pales in comparison to BA’s super-busy Heathrow or JFK lounges, even though the overcrowding there is of a whole other dimension. The one nice perk is that you do get to board the first and business class seats directly from the lounge without having to go back into the terminal.

Alright I admit I am spoiled by the exceptional lounge experience starting from the check in, to the color of cloth napkins(I prefer black ones as they don’t leave white lint on my skirt or trousers) Why would I go back to this lounge: — close to my gate — very quite — if your aircraft is Boeing then you will board directly from the lounge if its Airbus then you will have to come out and board at the gate Meh: — sandwiches for the first class passengers? Sandwiches? And cheese. Soup is served on the opposite side by the coffee and cookies. — Bar is a free pour meaning there is no one to make you a drink — it’s all up to your imagination. Let’s hope you have it Seen better. Much better.

How sad is it that the days of glamour of flying have long left us. The days when you looked forward to boarding a flight and be treated to comfort while sipping on good wine and dining on good food… those days are now just a memory. But wait! You can still experience that time. Sit in the bubble! British Airways offers two flights a day to Heathrow. The early flight being a 747 giving you the opportunity to sit in the bubble of the(sadly disappearing) «Queen of the Skies». There are only twenty seats and add to the fact that there are two dedicated flight attendants giving the traveler personalized service where you are pampered all the way to London. The lounge itself is fine, nothing to write home about but still perfectly fine. There is plenty of food and drink. However, as others have mentioned you board directly from the lounge making this a unique experience.

I was a little taken aback by the«serve yourself» idea. Are they sure? But there are bottles of alcohol here.. . I can just, pour myself a glass full of whatever? The cucumbers on the crudite had clearly been cut for quite a while and had gone a bit shrively round the edges, but were still tasty, as was the cheese selection. There were chips, and m&ms and hot soup, and sandwiches and all sorts of little nibbles. Certainly a lovely spot to sit and wait for your flight. Boarding directly from the lounge is a swanky touch as well.

I love coming here ! Food is always fresh. The team is absolutely spectacular – Elena and her manager are just the best ever. It’s a joy to get to interact with a company that understands customer service.

I’ve been in a lot of airport lounges but never one that allows you to board the plane directly without leaving the lounge like this one at SFO does. The offerings may seem simple but after spending many a multi-hour stint in American Airlines lounges in São Paulo and Rio recently, this place is like a palace with its fresh vegetable crudités, spa water, sandwiches, varied chip selection(SunChips®!) and open bar. I’d gladly pass an hour or two here any time.

Used this lounge once as part of our recent Korean Airlines flight with Delta Elite status access to the lounge. It is a nice lounge, comfortable, with wifi. You board the Korean Air flight directly from the lounge, bypassing the regular lines. The food selection is very good with vegetarian options. There are showers as well.

Pretty crowded for a fancy lounge and the food provided is probably worse than what you can get in the wider terminal… of course the price is right(food and drinks are free). The bump from three stars to four is for the direct boarding from the lounge straight onto the plane, no need to schlep out of the lounge and rush to a terminal.

This is just a quaint little lounge for the F passengers adjacent to the bigger lounge for C passengers. Wine, champagne, soup, sandwiches, it all can be had here! And the best is that there’s a direct connect to the plane!
