BinZhi Acupuncture Clinic

I’m not sure why this place got such horrible reviews. I accidentally stumbled upon this place when I was in dire need of a massage. Not only is it an absolute steal for a walk-​in $ 50/​Hr! Lola was absolutely fantastic!!!
She had the perfect amount of pressure and really catered the massage to what I needed. The place was clean and although they prefer cash, my bank is right across the street. I absolutely go back when I need a good session to ease my muscle tension and I really hope others go too!
Now if only I could score some of these Groupon deals that I keep reading about too…

I would like to review this place but it was impossible to get anyone to answer. I booked this on whim and tried calling (many many many times) to see if it was worth walking there. I physically went there since I had this killer ache, but even after knocking and buzzing… nothing. Definitely will not try coming back here.

Please DONT go here, even if its cheap!!!
I just moved to the city, and I don’t have a job, therefore I don’t have much money to spend… I hurt my neck a few days ago and was going to try to just ride it out, but it was pretty bad. I saw the groupon for $ 30 and figured it could only help. Wow, I was wrong…
I called Nancy to let her know I was running a few min. late but I would be there soon. I arrived 5min. late and she said that a gentlemen would be doing the treatment and that he was very good, then she showed me to the room and had me undress and lay down. She didn’t have me fill out any paper work, never asked why I came in, didn’t even ask my name.
The gentlemen entered the room and started the massage. Again didn’t ask me anything. The room was cold and so were his hands. He worked very fast, His technique was really bad, anything but relaxing. He was giving my lower back and butt a lot of attention and so I finally said «my neck is really hurt, that’s why I can in.» so he worked on it for only a few min. And he actually hit/​slapped my neck.
This was worse then my boyfriend giving me a massage. And obviously he’s not good if I’m paying other people.
I should of gotten up, but I kept hoping it would get better because I just wanted to feel better.
When I was all done, I was going to leave without tipping because I had a really bad experience. As I start to talk out the door Nacy stops me and makes me tip.
The worst part is my back hurts even more, and my spine feels brused.
I don’t know how anyone gave this place a good review.
Oh yeah I just remembered, when I was getting dressed I saw a bunch of dirty cotton balls from a previouse service… ew.

Ok, so my back hurts. It really, seriously, truly hurts. So I was STOKED to find a Groupon for a 1 hour massage for $ 30!!!
I called JUST to see if they had any available appointments left for the latter part of the day (you had to redeem by 8pm). I could barely understand the woman on the other end. She could barely make out the questions I was asking (ie when she noted 2 appointment times, I replied, «So, just the 2 available?» & She says, No, for 2, you need come at 4:30.
I told her I hadnt bought the Groupon but would think about it. I thought that was the end. NOT!
I called BinZhi at 3:15 PM via the link on Groupon.
Using caller ID, SHE CALLED ME @ 3:38 PM, addressed me by name & said I could come earlier because the 3 O’clock cancelled. I advised I hadnt purchased the Groupon & wasnt sure I was going to.
Then she called me AGAIN at 4:25 PM, & A G A I N (I know, I couldnt believe it either) at 4:42 PM.
Something tells me that her Groupon wasnt as big a success as she had hoped.
I noticed that of the five 5 star reviews, most had only reviewed on Unilocal once.
As much as I would’ve LOVED a massage tonight, & even IF she is as good as previous people say, I was too creeped out that she had called me THREE TIMES without me even having made an appointment OR giving her my name or phone number.
Bad business practice! Bad!

I’ve been having some terrible neck and back pain so when I saw Groupons deal for a $ 30 massage at BinZhi I bought it almost immediately. I usually get massages at the Club I belong to, but I will never do that again.
I had the BEST massage I have ever had at BinZhi. The atmosphere was clean and comfortable and I felt completely relaxed. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and attentive. The full 60 minute massage was perfect and when i left i had no more knots in my shoulders. They had been completely worked out.
Nancy really takes her time and is very diligent with her work. She doesnt make you feel like you are one out of ten massages happening that day because she really works to make sure you are getting the best service possible. She was so sweet and made me feel very comfortable. I am going to tell everyone about this place! Its a hidden gem.

Amazing! Came here for the ½ off massage Groupon deal, and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of service here.
Nice relaxing, quiet atmosphere, clean rooms, an extra nice bathroom (nicer than my apartment’s…haha), and friendly staff.
Nancy had really strong hands, but it wasn’t painful like some other places. She was communicative, but let you relax quietly if you wanted. She was so sweet and professional…
Will definitely come back and pay full price! Oh, and remember, if you use a Groupon… tip on the whole (not discounted) amount ;)

very clean and comfortable environment. i have tried many places for massage to reduce my neck and shoulder pain, but my experience with the massage therapists were… either they didn’t give the right amount of pressure, or they didn’t get to the right spot (or, sometime, they are too expensive). Nancy has very good skill with her acupuncture and acupressure treatments. I also have tried cupping for a couple times, which helps reducing my pain and stress from my shoulder’s muscles a lot. I would highly recommend bin zhi to anyone who is looking for a good acupuncture clinic!

After being diagnosed with a bulging disc in my lower back and a disproportionately high amount of pain, i tried everything to resolve it. I only wish acupuncture was at the begining of my list instead of the end. A friend recomended Bin Zhi so i gave it a shot and am so glad i did. After the first treatment i saw signigicant improvement. I was so thrilled that there was now a light at the end of the tunnel after struggeling with the pain and lack of effectiveness from everything else.
Nancy is the best. She’s been practicing for 30 years and knows what she is doing. I have had a massage as well and was amazed! This is the real deal. Additionally the place is very nice. It looks like new, impecably clean and very relaxing. Bin Zhi has it all, a great person in a great place doing great work!

I like this place. It’s a very spacious place with fantastic colors. The style, the music and the smell, it’s one of the best acupuncture places i have ever gone to. And Doc. Nancy is very nice.
