Jordan is an excellent colorist and hair stylist! I am so happy I met her. She is extremely meticulous and has such a great instinct and eye for color. After moving here from New York, I had such hard time with finding a great colorist. I discovered Beaty Company by chance. I highly recommend Jordan. She also did an amazing job on my husband’s haircut.

I gave this place 3 chances to cut my hair the way I wanted. The first time it turned out well but the last two times were a total fail. I went back the third time because I needed to go and was hoping that the second time was just bad luck. Jordan cut the long bob I wanted way to short. While she was cutting it I freaked out because I got worse and worse. Can’t recommend this place for haircuts.

I loved seeing former stylist Amanda at Beauty company and she recently has moved to Milvali Salon just 6 blocks away! She truly is master at her craft, continuously producing good haircuts and color! I appreciate the fact that Amanda is passionate about hair and always taking industry classes and keeps up to date on current cutting edge trends and techniques like the Balayage, ombré, sombre and color melting + dimensional tints, extensions and blowouts ! I have curly hair with some wavy texture and she’s really good at giving it a good shape with a haircut that last, she has curly hair too so she knows what my hair needs. Amanda you are the best I will definitely be following you to the new salon!

I had a bad experience with a dye job from Lynn. I was spending slightly more money to get ammonia free INOA hair dye at Mercer Street Salon. When I decided to save some money and stay closer to home, I went to Beauty Company. Lynn said Chromatics color from Redken was just as good and also ammonia free. Fast forward four weeks later. My color is so faded and brassy that I can see a harsh line where my roots are showing. You’d think Lynn would care that her recommended product performed so badly, right? Nope. She said, «if you’re looking for a free service, I can’t do that.» Her suggestions were a repeat service at FULLPRICE(with the same bad dye brand and the same misguided colorist). Or I could buy all my own INOA dye(~$ 30) AND pay her full rate to re-dye my hair. Someone doesn’t care about repeat customers…

I love going to a place to get a mani /pedi where the staff are friendly, happy and I do NOT have to worry about getting a staph infection — they use new massive bowls, that are properly cleaned, not the bacteria harboring foot spa chairs. I appreciate how open and airy the space is, there is not the suffocating smell of chemicals, which make for a safer space for all. I’ve had every service here — waxing, spray tan, hair styling and I am always overjoyed. The owner, Sherri Ziesche started finally making her own line of products, which are fantastic — pure ingredients that my skin absorbs and makes so soft! The scents keeps me keep sniffin’ myself in pleasure! I feel good supporting a local woman owned biz too!

Beauty Company is my #1 spot for a spray tan. I have been a customer for about 2 years and they consistently do a fantastic job. I always request Cari, the queen of applying a perfect sun kissed look. The tan looks natural and even. Never orange or blotchy. Whether I book an appointment or call the day of, Cari always accommodates. Overall, I highly recommend Beauty Company if you are looking for quality, lasting spray tan!

Had the worst experience getting a spray tan here. I had an appointment for 7:45 and when I check in with the girl at the front desk she tells me the usual spray tan woman just took her«favorite» client in off the street for a spray tan and now she’s too tired to do mine. That’s already off-putting when I’ve had an appointment booked for a few days now. I don’t know if this new girl was a fill-in or what but she did my spray tan in about .005 seconds, didn’t have me bend over or get all the random creases on your body and I just got home to find big WHITE splotches where spray tan didn’t get to. It’s embarrassing, and I’m mad that she rushed through mine so she could get to another customer waiting. I’m embarrassed by the spray tan now and wish I had never gone in the first place. I can’t even fix this myself nor should I really have to deal with buying fake tanner at walgreens in order to fix my tan I paid money for. I’m really disappointed and will not be going back to get spray tanned there. Too many good places to blow your money on an experience like that. Treat your customers respectfully that had an appointment booked far in advance.

Had a fantastic haircut with Amanda. She was so friendly and really took the time to understand my hair and listen to what I was wanted to do with it. Really happy with how it looks and feels now! Only issue is that I had booked online that morning and when I called to confirm in the afternoon, they said they didn’t have any record of the appointment. Luckily, they were still able to get me in that night.

Love the boutique. The nail salon is pretty good. They do the quickest gel manis Ever. In and out in 25 mins.

$ 35 dollar wax sounds great right? WRONG. I felt like I was butchered! Wayy too many rips and it stung for a good 24 hours. I will never return for a wax here again.

In my neighborhood. Cute storefront and displays. I think it’s general assumption that you can return anything most places with recent receipt in new condition. Not this one. Only store credit. Should be posted…(It’s respected when posted and clear in advance). Otherwise, it’s just rude and poor customer service. I won’t be giving her any more business.

Well, first of all they don’t know how to answer their phone. Second, the girls here must have something up their you-know-whats because that’s what you’d assume from their less-than-polite attitudes. Third, don’t call asking them if they have a certain product because you’ll travel all the way over there just to find out that they lied about having said product. Thanks!

*UPDATEDREVIEW* If you want to have gorgeous blonde hair, you need someone who KNOWS blonde and that person at The Beauty Company is Lynn Geyer. I had left The Beauty Company to follow my stylist who had departed to another salon. I had an appointment with him, but he broke his arm and is out on medical leave, and I REALLY needed to get my hair cut and highlighted, so I decided to go back to The Beauty Company. I had the great fortune to have an appointment with Lynn this afternoon. WOW! She is AMAZING. She goes above and beyond and I honestly cannot remember the last time I was THIS happy with my hair. The blonde is gorgeous, the cut is perfection. It’s EXACTLY what I wanted. I even got happy tears seeing it for the first time. Thank you Lynn! I have found my new stylist!

After a few botched haircuts, I gave up and just let my long blonde hair grow without abandon. However at the 7 mo point, I got sick of the everyday ponytail. So to escape the blue Angels SF tourist crowds, I ducked into this place, not exactly sure what it was. I spotted a beauty salon back in the corner and booked an appointment with who would become my favorite hair stylist — ever. Meet Jordan. A cute brunette girl who will put you at ease, listen, make suggestions but always respect your wishes. She’s somewhat of a perfectionist which only makes her work standout above the rest. She’s a true artist. Keep up the awesome work, Jordan.

Staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Good selection of nail polish colors(OPI, Essie, & Butter London). Linda is super sweet and gives a great pedicure.

What a neat place! The layout is open and bright, with unique historic and modern touches. For example, the space at one time was a bank, so the old vault is used as a spa service room. So cool I went in for a color treatment. I described my simple needs/wants and my stylist jumped right on it. I felt very satisfied and comforted knowing that I was in good hands with a knowledgeable stylist. And OMG, I could not be happier with my new hair color! I gladly made an appointment 7 weeks out to ensure that my hair stays lovely. I will also be getting a trim at my future appointment. Oh, and next time I’d like to book a pedi!(Did anyone notice the Unilocal discount for treatments M-F?) I’m a big fan and will gladly recommend this place!

Came in the other day after seeing their $ 20 Lemongrass Pedicure advertised on the street. Store is super cute, lots of great stuff and fun products. I was immediately helped and had the pleasure of getting a pedicure from Lyn. Lyn was sweet, chatty, and did a great job on my tore-up feet! Magazines and coffee was also offered(and taken!) The best part was having to walk the 6 blocks back to work with flimsy pink pedicure sandals on =) I will be back!
