I recently put my house on the market and was contacted by Anthony. Anthony asked if I can personally show the house to his client since he was away on a trip. After showing his client the house, the client was very excited and said that she would put in an offer. Soon after, Anthony started to contact me personally. He started off by probing me for a price and then he tried to negotiate with me over the term of the sell, such as taking off certain contingencies. I later found out that it is bad etiquette and borderline illegal for a buyer real estate agent to negotiate directly with the seller. The very next day, Anthony showed how unorganized he was by texting me out of the blue about another deal. I was very confused at first, but after several texts I realized Anthony was mistaking me for another person. After several of unsuccessful attempts with me, Anthony started to pester my agent to provide him with a price that we have in mind. We kept telling Anthony that he can submit an offer and we would review offers after the open house. Anthony continuing to negotiate and angle us for a competitive edge. Through my interaction with him, Antony was very unprofessional and unorganized. He did not operate with integrity.
