Worst haircut I’ve ever received. I decided to come in for a quick haircut that seemed reasonably priced. The lady did not wash my hair and cut my dry hair in less than 5 minutes. I asked for long layers and to thin out my thick hair. To her, this meant taking scissors and butchering my beautiful hair with some layers as short as the top of my ear. Layers make me look like i have a mullet(mushroom type cut layers with longer hair below the mushroom layer). It’s awful and will not be coming back.

Can fashion be both edgy and unpretentious? I certainly think so! I’ve posted a photo of the up-do Angie did for me last night, for which I received tons of compliments and people begging to know who did my hair. The amazing part was that the up-do cost only $ 50 and took all of 20 minutes! Angie is fast and really creative. I showed her my head-dress and she knew instantly, «You need your hair up to wear that.» And she was absolutely right.

Angie has been my hairstylist for 10+ year! I always let her change my look and makes me look 5 year younger and feeling fabulous. I trust her 100%,. She has done my hair for all my special events & my wedding day. She always takes me in when i call her for a quick makeover. Reasonable prices, great location and honest hair advice.

Angie does a great job on my hair every time I go there. She has a great sense of style, Angie knows exactly what haircut looks right for you. She has really good customer service skills. Angie’s Salon has clients from everywhere from the bay area, I am one of them. I drive 40miles to get my hair done, so far I have not found anyone who does such a great job on my hair as she does. I love her! She makes me feel beautiful. Thanks Angie!

Angie is right near my house. She usually has a few folks in there hanging out whenever I go there, and they seem to be having a good time. And yes — loud Rock en Espanol and interesting décor. Unlike all the other hair places in the mission, she does not have faded posters of haircuts from the ‘80s that say«Redken» on them. Angie is fast. She cuts(and washes) my hair in 8 minutes, charges a very reasonable price, and I come out looking good. I’m a regular.

You know when you just need a hair cut RIGHTNOW? Well, it was one of those moments. After calling numerous salons, none of which could fit me in, I walked to Angie’s. It was easy to find, the smell of incense and loud Rock en Espanol blasting out onto the street. Of course they fit me in right then and there, nothing much else going on. «Angie» cut my hair. I asked for a pretty short cut and she seemed a little shocked, but then whipped out her, um, scissors and did a pretty good job. She even fluffed it up and dried it and put some product in it. Ambiance — 3 stars — clean, well lit, nothing special though, maybe 4 stars if you like REALLYLOUD radio romantica Angie — 5 stars. Transgenders are people too, and she is friendly and sincere and has really pretty burgundy hair. She’s prettier than me and has less cellulite as well. Haircut — 4 stars. I have had better, but I needed it now, it cost $ 30, and it didn’t make me cry(but Cinta Salon downtown has made me cry and that was a $ 100+ haircut as I recall)
